As a local in West Virginia, Ive had a hard time finding legit tasting Asian food and Ive settled for smaller shops that sell it around the area. However when Taste of Asia was introduced to me by a friend, I was a skeptic and believed the dishes would leave me unimpressed. I was happily proved wrong. The dishes from Chinese, Japanese and Thai are amazing to the taste buds, and leave you filled and sated. As a fan of Asian food and a local in WV, Id recommend this place for your lunch and certainly a special night out if Chinese, Sushi created in spectacular displays and taste or Thai noodles whet your appetite.

Great Thai Spicy Noodle Bowls Noël Teel and I had a late lunch at "Taste of Asia" in South Charleston. I have been wanting to go here for a while. Free parking is always good. Inside the interior was lovely, but nothing spectacular and over the top, actually more cozy, intimate with a touch of the Orient. Loved it!! They took us to a booth near the back. Today I went to Taste of Asia for lunch with 2 coworkers. I ordered shrimp with cashew. The plate that was placed before me was shrimp, celery, and peanuts. My coworker ordered orange chicken and was given general tsos chicken. It took us almost an hour to be served our food when people who were seated well after us had already been served. It will be awhile before I go back to this restaurant.

I think their food is pretty good, after moving to WV from Philadelphia where there are loads of great restaurants, this became one of my reliable favorites. Not great but good Chinese, Japanese, Sushi, Thai. Wish there were more Thai choices around Charleston though. They used to deliver and I was disappointed when they stopped. Service and decor are nice enough in my experience.

Absolutely LOVE TASTE OF ASIA... FOOD particularly sushi is incredible and have had sushi from a lot of different areas Taste of Asia takes them all on head-to-head and comes out Victorious this store is orderly clean and beautiful I can tell they take time and pride in their presentation and mannerisms.. love this place.. GO THERE* YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR MEAL*

Good food, nice staff. The service is a bit slow, but the quality--both in presentation and taste--more than makes up for it. Awesome atmosphere. Since the food takes longer to get to the table, its a great place to go to with friends or on a date as the extra time allows for ample opportunity to get to know them better.

I went to taste of asia when i first arrived in Huntington. I went to eat sushi and some soup with some friends. The sushi was awful and fell apart when i picked it up. The waitress and hostesses were terribly rude. Im not sure if they still work there but i was disappointed and havent been back yet.

Very disappointed with the South Charleston location. Very rude not nice and food was terrible with exception of egg roll. TEAYS VALLEY location is TOP SHELF quality & service and all staff very polite. NIGHT & DAY difference. Go to Teays Valley, it is worth the extra 10 mile drive.

I just moved back from the Baltimore / DC metro area. My fiance and I were afraid that we were giving up good sushi and Thai food for the next few years; however Taste of Asia destroyed that fear. The sushi was great! The Thai curry and drunken noodles were perfect! Thank god!

This use to be one of the better places to eat at around the mound in South Charleston but their prices and food quality dont match, only eat there if you have a coupon and if your going to be paying full price you may as well go somewhere else.

Staff was great and in good spirits. Restaurant was clean with a good atmosphere. I like the fact they played popular upbeat music and not elevator music. Their duck was excellent and priced reasonably for what your ordering. Highly recommended.

We love going to taste of Asia for special occasions and gatherings with friends. The food tastes wonderful here! My favorite is the Pad Thai with shrimp. We have never been disappointed with a meal at Taste Of Asia.

Great food! Good variety on the menu and you get served quickly. Staff are ready to serve and are attentive. Great for two to four person groups for a lunch meeting or just to enjoy.

Amazing sushi! I had the godzilla roll and it was absolutely amazing. A true treat for every part of the palate. The Pad Thai was to die for. Extremely pleased.
