Pizza Inn has always been one of our favorite places to eat, so today when we wanted to do something as a family, it was our first choice. We are always loyal to the one on Asheville Hwy in Spartanburg, SC. When we got there today, we sat down and waited on someone to come take our drink order. And we waited. And waited. Finally, we had our drinks ordered and went to make salad. There was hardly any lettuce and most of the toppings were empty, so Ashley, Whitney, and Jayven (hes only 5) made very small salads. Then what do you know...NO silverware. Not a spoon or fork in sight. I let our waitress know that we had no silverware, so she said she would go get some. We sat down and waited and waited and waited... finally I looked and she had put like 6 forks out but didnt let us know. So I grabbed them some forks and got a plate of 4 pieces of pizza. I gave Jayven one and Kaysen a piece of one (Kaysen is 2). Everyone starts to eat. The salad was hot so no one wanted to eat it. At this point, everyone else goes to get pizza. Ashley got 2 pepperoni and 3 garlic cheese. Whitney got 3 supreme looking pieces. I ate 2 pieces of pizza when Whitney found a piece of curly black hair BAKED into the cheese. I almost threw up. We didnt eat another bite and wouldnt let the kids eat because who would?? I told our waitress very quietly so we wouldnt alarm anyone else. She said she would get a manager. We waited. And waited. And waited. Finally she came again and asked if anyone had talked to us. We said no and she left again. Keep in mind were still hungry and we have 2 hungry kids. We waited. Finally the man who brings the pizzas out came to our table and asked for the piece with the hair. We gave it to him and waited. Then we waited some more. About 15 minutes later he came back and said we didnt have to pay for Whitneys food and walked away. I was LIVID because NO ONE got to eat. I said I would pay for mine because at least I ate a few pieces but no one else ate. He said I had to pay or he would call the police. I paid, even though it wasnt right. I asked for his name and he wouldnt give it to me. I asked if he was the owner and he pretended like he didnt hear me. I asked him for the owners name and he just walked away. He was the most disrespectful man in customer service Ive ever encountered. I called corporate and gave them all of the details as well as DHEC. If even ONE person would have said "I am so sorry for this maam", I probably wouldnt have even minded to pay. But they were rude and disrespectful towards all of us. Just a warning for everyone going to eat there: DONT EXPECT TO BE TREATED WELL IF YOU HAVE ANY TYPE OF PROBLEM WITH THEM OR THEIR FOOD.

We went into the restaurant with high hopes but left very disappointed. Value: Terrible, Pizza Inn costs 36% more than CiCis Pizza, a competing pizza buffet. Atmosphere: Borderline depressing. Dining room is dark and cavernous. Quality: Ever worse than the value and the atmosphere. The pizza was lukewarm at best and tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours but even with some imagination I cant believe that the food would have tasted good even if was fresh. As a local college student, I can personally say that I will go out of my way to make sure that none of my friends fall victim of this miserable restaurant.

The place is dark and dirty. The pizza was old and dry when we got there. All of the serving spatulas were caked with *something* gross. I complained that all of the pizzas were old and disgusting and they brought out some fresh ones, but those tasted terrible. Not feeling great after having had a couple of slices and a plate of brownish lettuce, carrot slivers, and onions--definitely sick to my stomach. I told the gentleman at check out that we were disgusted with the food and we will not be back. We were in and out in 20 minutes. Makes CiCis Pizza look like fine dining. :-(

If this is considered horrible, then the others in the vicinity are atrocious. This is the best place to get pizza, in my opinion, and its been a favorite in the family for years. Good pricing for what you get at the buffet, they customize your pizza orders, and the staff is very friendly. Again, I dont know which Pizza Inn some of the others have been to, but it couldnt have been this one.

Food was ok but the service and atmosphere at this restaurant was just terrible. I thought it might have been a one off so I gave them a second chance and it was about the same. If youre looking for an affordable meal and dont really care about the service you may be happy with the Pizza Inn.

Pizza buffet that will make pizzas to order for you to enjoy ! Great salad bar with lots of toppings, the food is always fresh! Wait staff is always on point with refilling your drinks and taking plates away from your table. You can also order pizzas for yourself instead of using the buffet

Great pizza but there are many flaws at this particular franchise. Everything seems very crowded. Very loud and defiantly not the place for talking with your family or friends. Also he last time I went there, the price had spiked.

Always a great lunch! The cheeseburger pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza are delicious. Even at the busiest times there is always a good amount on the buffet. Servers are friendly and it tends to get busy at lunchtimes.

Been eating here for over 15 years, in the last year the pizza has dropped in quality severely and isnt nearly as good as it once was. Its now just a feeding trough and will succeed because of fat America needs food

The food is good. I wished they would bring special orders to the table, like they do in Greenville. You have to listen, and run to the bar before everyone gets all of the pizza you ordered.

Waited outside in parking lot since 10:40am. At 11am we get out and walk to the building to be rudely told by a black man that theyre closed even though sign says 11am

We visit this place about 3 times a month. It is a great place with very friendly people. They will put anything pizza you want on the bar all you have to do is ask.

Pretty good deal for pizza. Its thin crust, but I like that. They have a very good variety of pizzas. The interior could use an update, and it looks a little dark.

Large variety of pizza. One of the original Pizza In locations, much better than the new ones that are popping up. Lots of options on the salad bar as well

Bad service, even worse food. The buffet is overpiced compared to others in the area, and the dont put out enough pizza. The staff is very rude.
