Today 7 of us came in to eat, we were greeted immidiatly! The employee was very friendly and accommodating. She gave recommendations on both food and drink, and even asked us about our day. My boyfriend had the lobster tail sandwich, which he said was great. I had the crab cake sandwich which was awesome, it was big and very lightly breaded with a moist consistency. The only thing I didnt care for was the amount of seasoning on the fries, it was way too much, we had to scrape it off.

Was better than expected and I expected a delicious hearty grilled cheese. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was cozy. The meals seem to average 6-12 per person but most are in the $8 range. I personally ordered the fried lobster grilled cheese. They used only fresh ingredients as indicated by the lobster shell that came with the food. This is a refreshing place in the area where gimmicks are running rampant. Highly recommended, especially for an affordable lunch.

I was vacationing in Surfside a week before Matthew blew through,. After seeing all of the great reviewed I decided to stop in for lunch one day. I got a regular grilled cheese and a buffalo chicken grilled cheese. I requested a take out and was told it would be 15 minutes. Once I got back to our beach house and dug in, the food was amazing! Definitely a great value for the price and well worth the wait!

Just went last week. It will be hard for you to find a better grilled cheese, anywhere. I got a grilled cheese with bacon, the bread was super thick, the bacon was plentiful and it was all cost effective. I was on vacation, it was a last minute decision and now I will go there every time I visit. The staff was polite, place was clean, my to go order was ready super fast. Really amazing grilled cheese!!!!

Super rich (as in taste)....but that is not a bad thing....trust me! A little pricy, but considering the quality, totally worth it. Great value for what you get. We dont live there anymore, but plan on returning when we visit in October this year. Glad to see its still up and running. A quality, local business that is awesome and easy to root for to keep on succeeding.

1st off...food is amazing! Grilled cheese and lobster tail...yummy!..2nd...service..ugh. Have been here 3 times in 9 months and always the same thing-very slow. Told everytime they are short handed. I get that can happen sometimes...but everytime? Spend one hour there for a sandwich with only 6 other customers....I dont understand that.

10/10 Will eat here again. Wonderful food with a friendly staff. So far Ive had the Old Fashioned and the Fried Chicken Grilled Cheese and both of them were outstanding! The chicken was crispy and juicy and the cheese is always perfectly melty. This is definitely one of our favorite places to eat near home.

First time there, had seen it on the web. I had the fried lobster sandwich, wife had the grilled cheese & crab cake sandwich. Holy smokes!!! I cant say enough, you owe it to yourself to try this place. We ar eodwn for bike week and I hope to make it back before we leave.

I have to say I had the crab cake sandwich and that was the most crab for the money I have ever enjoyed. I would have went 5 stars if the a/c had worked today. Otherwise the food and friendly employees made up for it. Delicious food, great atmosphere. Loved it guys.

You have to try the Crabmelt sandwich, what a unique incredible taste. Add the sweet potato fries with apple butter and get ready to have your tastebuds surprised. We also had the crab soup, yum! Nice friendly servers, with great recommendations. Well be back!

Had a shrimp grilled cheese and added pimento cheese. It was fantastic!! Great food and great service! Will definitely come back! Everyone at the table ranted and raved how good it was! Kudos to Quin, the cook, on a wonderful lunch! It truly was one to remember!

Absolutely amazing local favorite lunch spot! Huge sandwiches for the price. "The Crabmelt" is a must if its your first time and def pair them with the Old Bay seasoned fries. One of the best values at the beach, and some of the best food too!
