I go to Yoshi Sushi about once a month! If I could afford it then it would be once a week I havent eat anything there other than their sushi with that being said I couldn’t tell you how anything besides the sushi tastes. The people that work there is very friendly and always talkative it makes you feel relaxed. I always get three orders of Spicy Tuna Rolls, every time I go so that is 18 rolls & for me it is the most addictive food I’ve ever eat. I also get a sweet tea so my order is usually about $17.00 I have been too many different sushi restaurants but this one is my favorite. Btw their spicy mayo sauce is to die for!!!

The owners know me by name. I initially went in for sushi lunch deals, but there isnt much to be had on that order. Instead, the thing to do for lunch is to get hibachi lunch deal with some sushi on the side! All the sushi Ive had from them has been great quality, Id say 4/5 or better, and the price is pretty good. Im not a fan of the rice they use for hibachi, and I really cant eat the vegetables due to my special concerns, but all the hibachi main meal items were absolutely delicious. Soft, succulent steak that melted in my mouth, juicy fully-cooked chicken, and the white sauce for everything is downright addicting.

This was absolutely horrible! The miso soup looked like vomit and tasted like it. The chicken teriyaki was not good at all! The veggies were not done and tasted fishy. The chicken was dry and extremely salty. They served orange slices with their dinners? Weird. We actually thought about leaving after the miso soup but thought hey maybe its just the soup. No it was everything. No wait the gyoza was pretty good. Thats it. We dont eat sushi so maybe their sushi was good. A girl with us threw up while eatting her meal. Please do not eat here.

This place was all around gross. Stay far away. Customer service was the worst Ive ever experience. The waitress (who apparently is always slow, unorganized & disrespectful) could have been better if she sat paying customers within the first 10 ten minutes instead of having the cook sit us. The food was horrible. No flavor nor depth. Just stay away. Lol.

This is a great place with great food. The service is wonderful, and the hospitality makes you feel welcomed. Its quiet and has an extremely inviting and warmhearted atmosphere. The sushi is wonderful, I even took my father here and he enjoyed it! They have good prices and I would come here again.

Awesome selection or rolls, sushi, and sashimi all brought out on wooden boards. There is also a nice selection of Hibachi options. All this tucked in to a cozy low-lit space with crepe-paper lanterns and a sushi bar with chefs. Grab an Asahi or warm/cold saki and take your chopsticks for a walk.

Truly a hidden gem! Friendly family-oriented staff. Hibachi is affordable and delicious. They are not skimpy on the white sauce, if you eat there they give you a squeeze bottle for the table. My only wish is that they were open more consistently. Since it is family run, you cant be too choosy.

Spectacular! I only speak for the sushi, but this is the best Sushi I have had state-side and we just happened to walk in! I adore this place and will suggest it to anyone looking for a great sushi experience. Try the Sweet Shrimp or Scallops! A great couple that run this place. Thank you!

I love this place!!!! One of the best sushi places in town, the owners are amazing and interactive and the food is always amazing. If you want addictive food this is the place to go!!. If you go check out the Sushi Yoshi Roll or the Fiji Rolls, you cant go wrong with either one.!

This is probably one of Columbias best restaurants that no one knows about. Owners are a husband and wife team. He cooks, she manages. The food is fantastic. Sushi Yoshi is supposed to mean Happy Sushi. I dont know how happy the sushi is but Im happy every time we eat here.

This place is always empty and I dont know why because its small dark funky fun and the food is pretty yummy. Not the best sushi in town but maybe the best sushi experience for a casual night with friends or a date.

The 5 Points Roll is my favorite sushi roll Ive ever eaten. The owner lady is always so sweet and I enjoy the experience. The atmosphere is a bit lacking, but the food (try the shrimp fried rice!) is delicious.

Although Sushi Yoshi is listed as a "bar" on Google Maps, IMO its a restaurant...with pretty great sushi! Id say that Saki or Camon does a better job, but if youre in Five Points and need a tuna fix, stop by!
