As another reviewer stated, we spotted this gem during our horse-drawn carriage tour and headed straight there after the tour finished. The space is beautiful, with a two level outdoor terrace in a lovely natural setting and a clean and bright interior. But the cuisine is the highlight, as it is authentically French and prepared freshly on site. We were impressed by the variety of choices of savory dishes and freshly baked French pastries and other desserts. Ater much deliberation, we chose to share a savory salmon crêpe made with traditional buckwheat batter, prepared right on front of us, and a spinach and goat cheese quiche. Both were served with fresh greens sprinkled with homemade vinaigrette. We devoured these dishes snd made frequent comments to each other on the delicious flavors and textures. We heard those at adjacent tales making similar observations. After this course, we split a homemade coconut macaroon partially dipped on dark chocolate and had two iced coffees. This stellar restaurant was among the highlights of a truly remarkable visit to Charleston and was very nice alternative to the heavy Southern fare that we had been eating earlier during our trip. Bravo to the French owners of the reataurant and their friendly staff! Grand merci!

Disappointing...I ordered their "laqs" panini which was described as having red onion and arugula in addition to smoked salmon and dill. It was just a couple sad shreds of way beyond smoked salmon and 0 red onion or arugula. Called to let them know, thinking like any respectable place they would offer some sort of refund or remake if I were able to come back, and the woman curtly told me shed tell the chef and hung up on me. It was so bad I fed the rest to my dog. Waste of $14. Another time I ordered a delicious sounding crepe with Brie walnuts and honey, I got it and it was just a crepe stuffed full of arugula which wasnt even mentioned. I called and asked and they said yes that indeed comes with arugula and they had thought that was listed on the menu. Seems like they have a hard time understanding their own menu. Only reason I give 3 stars is because they do have some good pastries...

Crepes are giant pancakes stuffed with food made for tourists. These must made for the happiest tourists around because they taste like awesome, whether theyre stuffed with nutella and fruit or vegetables and cheese. To be fair, what doesnt taste good stuffed with nutella or cheese? Either way its stuffed in my face and my face likes it. The pastries taste like French people made it. In fact French people did make it. France is one of those countries that is so good that people dont often leave it but thankfully Charleston is soooo good that even French people will come here and make crepes. The other food is really good too. Outdoor seating. Bring the family. Eat the pastries.

Superb food. We doubted once arriving, thinking it looks like a simple coffee shop. Dont be fooled. They have a variety of tarts, French toast, croissants and crepes. The five of us enjoyed our food. I had to pace myself eating the mixed berry tart, I wanted the mouth happiness to never end. My partner is a vegetarian, he ordered le complet croissant and gave it four and half stars. Prices were reasonable. French toast and crepe meals came in around $9. A tart, which was a perfect light breakfast for me, was $4. And even better than the prices, our food came out fast and looked great. TLDR - low key, great food, affordable and coffee and the tart was bliss

Magnificent. One of the best French Pâtisseries we have ever been to. My wife and I had such a sweet time with one of the owners and with the server/cashier. Very personable service. Quality of the food was excellent and authentically French. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavors, textures and freshness of the Classic Crépe and the Market Crépe. Best Chocolate Croissant Ive ever had... And we have been to a number of French bakeries. I have a feeling that people are going to fall in love with this place for many years to come, I know I already have.

Ive been probably 5 or 6 times since the cafe opened and have loved it every time. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. They have an extensive collection of gorgeous sweets, pastries and baked goods that taste as good as they look. The french toast is excellent, served with almonds, fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream. The quiche is good as well as the chicken vol au vent. Im normally not a fan of macarons, but the texture and taste of Cafe Framboises is amazing. Definitely recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch.

We saw this place while on a carriage tour and decided to backtrack the route after the tour was over. We were very glad we did. We split a vegetarian crepe and a lemon curd crepe as a late breakfast. They were both delicious, but the vegetarian was the real standout. It was loaded with veggies and in spite of its size left us wanting more. While we were waiting for our breakfast we were constantly tempted by the amazing array of pastries on display.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this place for breakfast. He said its great and wont have to wait and he was right on point. The crepes were fantastic and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh and made with perfection. They have no table service but do have tables inside and out so you can enjoy your meal. We liked it so much the first day went back the next. Macarons are also delicious.

I imagine the food would have been good if they had allowed me to order. When I got to the counter they told me they had stop serving lunch because they close at 2 on Sunday. I ordered a pastry and croissant instead and sat outside. Thats when I realized it was only 1:40. I feel like I got scammed out of my opportunity for lunch.

Just follow Market St until you find this lovely eating place. Millies cup is a chocolate and raspberry lovers delight. The food is so good. Lizzie is a goddess! She just delivered my quiche Lorraine to my table in the courtyard. Thanks, Lizzie, for helping us pick out such delightful pastries. Enjoy Richmond!!

We really enjoyed this place! Friendly staff and great food. AND they have their own parking lot which for downtown Charleston most know parking is hard to come by! I had the market Crepe and he had the Ranchero Crepe. The Ranchero is where its at. And its vegetarian. Great place. Thank you!
