Horrible service especially from Nicole from NJ. I was there attending a party for a friend and her bad attitude and rudeness toward my group put a damper on the entire evening. I waited an hour and 30 minutes for my food, while those in my party with whom I had ordered were long done with theirs. People who arrived an hour + after I did, received their food before me. I had asked several times if my food was coming out, and she kept saying "its coming", then when I finally told her that I no longer wanted the food because it had been over an hour, she told me that it wasnt her fault, and that it was the kitchens fault... So unprofessional! In the end, her service was so terrible and several in my party complained to management, that the restaurant comped the entire bill for a party of 20+ people! Its too bad that one bad seed can really ruin an experience. Ill never go back there.

Loved this place! Went two nights in a row. Our biggest selling point about it was the friendly bartending staff. Brendan invited us in from the door and continued to be a great host. Also, I cant argue with inexpensive Yuenglings! We were able to get our games on the TV as well, so it was a perfect pub for us! The only reason Im 4 and not 5 stars is that the crowd could be a bit loud. Its not overwhelming, but if youre looking for a quiet beer and the game, they can sometimes be a bit distracting.

This pub is in the center of historic Charleston. We picked up this place by recommendation of our carriage tour guide (kudos). You need to come in and ask to go to the backyard and you will encounter bliss (you cannot see this location from the street!). Great drinks, friendly and outstanding atmosphere. I recommend visiting this place at least once. If you can you should end your exhausting touring around Charleston in this spot and unwind with a refreshing drink every day!

On our last night in Charleston,3-25-17, we decided to give this place try. I ordered the Pub burger and fries and my wife got the chicken with avocado sandwich. The rating would have been a 3 or 4 except for one major problem. About 5 or six hours after eating I became sick with a classic case of food poisoning. With so many other great choices for dining in Charleston this place will be one that I avoid when ln town again. Not a pleasant experience.

Fun atmosphere, starting with the story behind the pubs beginning. It was built in the late 1800s, and during prohibition you would buy a ticket to see the Blind Tiger, thus letting you buy alcohol! Now with a smallish menu, but excellent choices of well spiced sandwiches and other dishes. Full bar, but offering many nonalcoholic drinks also.

This place was recommended to us by a local because they allow dogs on the back patio and they have great vegetarian options. The back patio is pretty amazing. We loved the nachos, veggie burger, and Greek salad. Good beer list although be careful we paid $8.50 each for short pints of mediocre IPA as prices arent listed in the menu.

We have been going to trivia on Wednesdays at the BT for a few months now. While we have enjoyed the beers and relaxed atmosphere, we hadnt tried the food until recently. We ordered the Kobe beef burger with bacon, and oh my, it was delicious! Best burger Ive had in Charleston! We also had a side of perogies, which were also tasty.

Showed up with a small group and the bartender was unfriendly and not helpful during a slow time of the day. He was unsure of the whiskey selection and referred us to a menu which did not have this information either. The waiting staff for the restaurant were very friendly and helpful in contrast to the barstaff.

Ate the mussels and calms and about 24 hours later I was vomiting like the girl from the exorcist and peeing out of my butt. It would have called it a great place until I went home with FOOD POISONING!! 2 days later Im still feeling all its terrible effects and I wouldnt wish food poisoning on my worst enemy.

Nice spot with awesome food prices. We had walked down to the battery and started making our way to the market when we stopped here. Scott the bartender was helpful and friendly and gave us all kinds of great history about the city that we didnt know. Good beer prices too.

Second time at this place and i have to say, that the kitchen can easily beat those super famous cusines from Queen Street. Fantastic burger, classy steak with a great home made sauce, many tap beers and wines as well! On top youll get cute and friendly waitresses as well!

Not a great marketing concept - no air conditioning in Charleston in the summer? I dont get it. Could not eat most of my meal, was melting and had to leave. Of course they still made me pay. If they had a better attitude about it, I would have come back this winter.

Stopped by for a beer after a wedding last night, and I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to hang out with friends for drinks. 2 bars inside and one outside made the lines not be as a bad, and the outside lounge area made us feel at home.

You better go here quick, because rumor has it theyre going to have to close up shop. The backyard patio is one of the most unique ones in Charleston. Hopefully they never close, as its always a great stop to take guests, or even pop in for a Guinness.

Fun outdoor area. Bizarre crowd the night that I was there that included three brides in their gowns, college kids, the local late 20s crowd, and tourists. Good spot, though. Would recommend dropping in for a drink in the outdoor back bar.

Once a dive bar, this restaurant is a great place downtown to catch a bite to eat. It has a wonderful outdoor space, as well. Brunch is served on Sundays, but you can get their very- delicious Pub Burger and truffle fries any time..

There isnt a lot on the menu. $10 for the Pub Burger and it doesnt even come with sides. Palmetto Amber draft was $6. Burger was delicious. Double meat, but undercooked. Google menu is the old menu according to our waitress.

Excellent outdoor patio to bring the frenchies to for Sunday brunch. Killer Bloody Marys and polite service. Would recommend this Pub to out of staters or anyone wanting to enjoy a strong drink in a Charleston nook.

After seating ourselves, our server grunted at us for our order. Food was bland and he forgot the side to the entree saying hed be back with it, he never did. Our check was dropped off without so much as a thanks.

This used to be a Speak Easy back in the day before prohibition. The old town Charleston bar!! The atmosphere keeps the riff-raff out. Leave room for the tourists. There are other places in town for us locals...

Great British-style pub. Cool layout with right/left bars, and a gorgeous back patio. But the servers and food runners run around like their heads are cut off (one bumped me hard as he passed; no apology)
