We have been going to this restaurant since they initially changed the name of the location. Initially things were great and we went often, but we began going less and less as the cost of items went up. It has been a while since my wife and I have gone and decided to spontaneously go this evening. We were greeted when we sat down and were asked if wanted drinks, which we declined on since any decent draft beer was 5-6 dollars. We decided to have water and order food. We were given two glasses of water and menus and that’s where the service ended. We waited at the bar counter for fifteen minutes for our original host to contact us, or even the woman whom was working. We watched a couple individuals walk in and order drinks and then food. Being ignored like we were made us feel like you didn’t receive service unless you bought alcohol. We walked out not ever having the chance to order anything and I don’t plan on ever returning. Tonight was a realization of why we stopped visiting this place.

The first time we went here the wings were good and the fries were undercooked. It is close to my home so I figured we would give it another try. We ordered over the phone and they said 20 minutes. My husband waited an additional 20 minutes once there. On top of that the food was not appetizing. The fries were undercooked yet again. The meal for my child was cold and soggy. The sandwich bread wasnt toasted on my husbands meal. My sandwich was fried to the point if felt like I was eating straight grease. Wont be back. Update: The owners did reach out to me and try to remedy the situation so I do applaud them for that.

The food at 1933 Pub & Grill is superb -- much more flavorful and fresher than your typical pub food. 1933 (named, by the way, for the year in which Congress repealed the Prohibition Act) is an intimate and very friendly neighborhood spot with an extraordinarily friendly staff, great owners (Julie and Keith), and a loyal cadre of regular patrons. Thursday night, you can play trivia there, and win gift cards for future visits to this fine little pub and grill. Highly recommended.

Quaint atmosphere and more than just a kids menu with beer. My first impression of the place was great. The 1933 house brew was excellent. I went with the popular jerked chicken sandwich which was as good as everyone says. Try the smokey fish spread as it is also fantastic and just the right amount for a snack or appetizer. Protip: carpool! Not much parking and I have seen it get pretty busy.

First time visit today. Food was excellent. Had fried mushrooms, they were huge and delicious, as was the clam chowder and French onion soup. Hamburger was juicy that had mushrooms and onions in a gravy. Wings were good also. Even ice tea has a full body flavor. Our waitress was attentive (nice shorts too). All in all Recommend Club 1933. Downside, a little expensive, but worth it

Slow service and mediocre food. The food took an hour from when we ordered it. The portabello appetizer was so greasy it made me nauseous. The chicken sandwich was half fat half meat. The potato bites appetizer was burned. The young waiter is a really nice guy and very attentive though we didnt have him we had the bartender serve us or I should say barely serve us. We wont be back.

Clam chowder was excellent. The chili was excellent. Their version of the bang bang shrimp was better than BFG and much bigger serving, the Cornish hen was to die for they need more IPAs!!!! but nothing to complain about the food. Weve had excellent meals every time. We will definitely be back. The owner also let us try mambo sauce for the wings amazing!

I ordered dinner from here through ubereats and the food arrived completely charred. Fries were over cooked burger was over done. They got my girlfriends order wrong. 4 year old wouldnt touch the food. if you think of eating here save some money and go to Home Depot and get a large order of cardboard instead.

Great Restaurant! Its fairly close by where I live and the wings are great! If you arent a wing person though Id have to recommend the Moxie burger, best burger on their menu. One tip though, it shows this place at Beer Bumz still on here still, so, to avoid confusion, the restaurant is officially 1933.

Have lived nearby for a year but hadnt tried here till recently. The lot is usually full so we were pleasantly surprised to get a table for 4 right away. Very friendly and clean. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. The beer is very cold and Pete and Brittany were a blast. We will be regulars.

Very clean place, hosts and bar tenders were warm and friendly. Burgers were great! Get the Moxie burger you wont be dissatisfied. Only complaint was the burger was over cooked just a tad, it was still juicy and delcious but I like mine a little pink. I WILL be back for more!

Grindage is a great Portobello mushroom burger, unique here. Regular food is consistent and well done. . People here are friendly, service is great. They have trivia nights and live music on weekends. Keith and his wife are great hosts. Cool neighborhood bar vibe.

If your not a regular do not expect a lot. Chili with fritos whats next crackers with cheese wiz. Really tried to like this place because it is close to home but after 3 attempts will not be returning. I say give it a try and see what you think, bar food only.

The staff were vere friendly and bar was well kept. Presentation and taste of food was very good. Beer selection is pretty good. I came with my children around 6:00 pm and the bar seemed family friendly. They do have a kids selection.
