I got a buffet to go. All food was good until I got to rotisserie chicken. The chicken was not fresh. I called and reported it but I also told them all other food was good except chicken. I felt as if they discussed the situation before I got there and decided to tell me that their chicken was fresh and prepped that morning. I did get a partial refund but I wasnt happy with that statement. It made me feel as if they thought I was trying to get over. If I was doing that I wouldnt have told them the other food was ok. Plus I brought the chicken back to prove my point. The guy smelled it and said it was probably the seasoning. Ive cooked and dealt with a lot of chicken and I just didnt appreciate lying to my face. Yeah the guy told me to come back again but the way that was handled, I dont feel as if they want my business again.

We were very hesitant to go to Golden Corral because the ones in Ohio are so bad, but the reviews were good and we had a vegan and others in our group with different like that we took a chance. So glad we did. The food was great the staff was so friendly, and attentive. I wrote the above after we left the restaurant and it didnt send. I came down with food poisoning. This has not been fun esp. while traveling. I think it was the fish as the rest of my party didnt eat it and I did.

This place never ceases to amaze me. What can I say? Great staff; great food. There hasnt been a day where I dont overfill myself with the variety of deliciousness that GC has waiting fresh to semi-fresh in their steaming buffets. Speaking of buffet, Thierry steak is ALWAYS mouthwatering, and tender. My kids always crave it. But, we make sure and visit sparingly as to not get tired of eating at, what I call, our tasty treat.

Im a Southern Belle, and Im a True Southern Sista through and through, and i cook & bake everything in my home from Breakfast to Lunch, to Dinner, & Desserts, & More. I love eating good, Food, and i will tell yall...Im ADDICTED To The (Dinner Rolls). I always order (1) to (2) Dozen Dinner Rolls, and i only eat it with (Honey Butter). Also i love eating at Buffet Restaurants.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. I couldnt get the drink I wanted up front because it was only available in the back and half the food was either ice cold or really old. I have been to a few of their restaurants and this one was a very poor experience compared to what we are used to. I doubt we will ever return and we are only 5 minutes away.

My experience here is always great, today my server is Brian who really is a great guy and an excellent waiter. The food is good and the selection is just as appetizing. I recommend anyone visiting Beaufort and and Beaufort residents to visit this Golden Coral any time.

Everything was hot and constantly being refreshed. The steak was seasoned well and surprisingly very tender, the squash so.. good and the hush puppies always delicious. Great selection for hot and cold food as well as deserts and the service is always welcoming.

The food was great and the waiter was awesome!! Gordan was on the spot and deserves recognition. Its hard to be a good waiter but its even harder to be awesome!! You go Gordon!!! I wish we had waiters in NC like him!!

Really big buffet which really good food. Huge selection. Dessert bar is really good. Great price for all you can eat. The rolls and honey butter are great and so is the pot roast.

Great staff, some actually deserve a raise! I always get the salad bar and it is usually fresh. Many food choices, less bread on the shrimp would be nice.
