We have dined at Broken Egg a number of times (20+) since this location opened and we had always thought it was pretty good but this last time will in fact be the last time. The menu had changed recently so I decided to order something new--Broken Egg®Chicken & Biscuit Sandwich. Looked like it would be good from the description and things we order there usually are good. It took a while to get the food, maybe 30 minutes but I have no real problem with that. When the order did arrive, my wifes looked fine but mine was fried chicken on a waffle. I could not remember even seeing that item on the menu so I was baffled. I had been up all night working and felt pretty tired so I just said, I didnt want that, and I would stick with the coffee, just take that off the bill since it was not what I ordered. I was kind of surprised at the amount of the bill (around $25) considering we had gotten only one breakfast, a coffee and a tea but I was wasnt up to arguing about the bill so I left a good sized tip and we left. I was curious though-- how I wound up with chicken and waffles? After looking very closely again at the menu online---yes they do have it, on the childrens menu. I also now realize, based on what we paid they never took it off the bill. I dislike letting one bad experience override the previous decent ones, but given there are quite a few choices of breakfast places I do not see us going back any time soon.

Truthfully Im not a breakfast person, Id rather chomp down on a cold pizza out of the fridge then eat toast or eggs. However, we came across this hidden gem a few weeks ago and my perspective on breakfast has changed! Its not your everyday food here that you will find at your local Dennys or Ihop. Another Broken Egg really delivers a sophisticated menu with a wide variety of choices to choose from. Service was great and the staff was so friendly. On to the food, we ordered the "Waffle Sliders", which was basically breakfast all rolled up into a handheld sandwich, along with a punch of flavor that excites all your taste buds at once! Now on to the second dish which was "The B.L.A.S.T!" This was surly a blast! Think about a regular B.L.T.....okay now you got that?!? Take some avocado and some smoked gouda and you got yourself "The B.L.A.S.T!", the sandwich is amazing, plain and simple. Also cant forget about the crispy potatoes on the side. Have to say Im already looking at the next dishes we will get when we stop by next time! Hmm, the Huevos Rancheros looks very good!

My wife and I live walking distance from here and have eaten at this place several times. We wont be back after our visit Sunday. The service is very subpar. We were seated by a table that was loudly and repeatedly using the F word throughout their meal. I dont get offended by this usually, but when its 40 times in 5 minutes, it really ruins the environment for all. When we asked to be reseated the staff seemed put out by it. Once we moved, they placed a family with children at our old table. Do the hosts not see why this might not be a good plan? The food was just ok, my omelette was bland and not worth the prices they are charging. There are too many amazing dining options in Boca to settle for subpar. It wasnt a terrible experience, but bad enough that we will just go elsewhere.

My experience the first time was great!!! So I went back again (about 2 weeks later) but this time with my family n another family. The service was "ok" but it couldve been better. It took sooooooooo long to get our food. The manager even came to greet our table, but that didnt make the food come any faster. Ever when we said weve been waiting on our food. The food was great. However I couldnt finish all my food and I had to get a box to go home. It was half my food (they give big potions) as we were leaving. I some how forgot my box on the table. My hubby went back to retrieve my food (less than 2 minutes later) they told my husband that the food was thrown out.

My first time here and my experience was bad. The service was ok, the table behind me arrived 10 minutes later than, the server greeted them first, and they received their food before mine. My server was nice. I ordered bananas Foster french toast. When I ordered, I was not offered eggs or bacon, but when I received my check, they were apparently included and listed on by bill as no eggs, no meat. I asked if they could decrease the price since I did not get them, but I was told it would cost more to ring up individual pieces of french toast. The food was ok, but I likely wont be back.

Literally the worst service I have ever experienced and it was only a pick up order. I was quoted 20 minutes for food when it actually took about an hour. The bartender was totally incompetent. The entire staff didnt seem to know what was going on around them. I was asked how the food came out before I even got the food. Absolutely terrible. We order food for our shop so were spending easily 100 dollars everytime order from here and everytime something gets messed up and it takes forever. I wish I could give Another Broken Egg a zero star review.

My family and I just left, and this location reminded me why I shouldve just stuck with the Pembroke Pines location. It started with the Hostess, he/she had a major attitude problem. Then he/she completely screwed up the order in which people that used the app were supposed 2 be seated. I will say that the manager and my waitress (Jesse) were great. She tried so hard 2 accommodate us when they ran out of champagne. Who runs out of champagne ?? , but whatever she was super cool. The food was ehhh not bad but not as good as the Pines location

This restaurant is enjoyable for breakfast, although it can be on the pricey side. During weekends, theres usually a small (10-15 minute) wait, especially in season. Parking is also a major issue, not just for Another Broken Egg, but for every restaurant in this shopping plaza. Its even worse on Saturday mornings, when the Boca Green Market sets up shop in the parking lot. Service is generally friendly and quick, and portions are generous. My personal favorites are the smoked salmon benedict and the southwest scramble.

Apparently the same incompetent manager reviewed a few months ago is still in charge. With multiple empty tables around, he refused to allow the front desk to seat any of the numerous guests sitting in the waiting area. We left when we heard a woman who had been waiting for 30 min. had just been seated. The manager told us, when we complained, that it was company policy aimed at assuring patrons of a good dining experience. Methinks he missed the point and should go take some classes in restaurant management.

Not only is the food great here, the pricing and service makes it an exceptional value. My wife and I love it outside on the patio (when its not so humid, of course). I always order one of the omelets and she always raves about the eggs Benedict--stuck in our ways, but it makes us happy. We make it a point, when out of town visitors are with us, to share the experience with them...its always an enjoyable time. You will definitely like the coffee; thats an important aspect of my breakfast dining experience!
