David and his wife and associates have been lifesavers for my wife and me. When we discovered his first location on W. Market St. we felt that finally we had found a place with great food and wonderful ambiance, a restaurant that we could return to frequently and expect to be more than satisfied. We became regulars. Davids second location was in many ways ever better, However, his new location on E. Market St. is far better than either of his former restaurants. The food is outstanding, always fresh, perfectly prepared, and a great variety of choices, so much so that it is often very difficult to decide what to order. His servers have always been first class; beautifully trained, professional, knowledgeable and warm and friendly. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, even if a bit noisy because it is usually filled with excited and happy diners. I write this with some reluctance because I do not want to find that when I try to book there are no more tables available. This is the quality of food that I always expected to find in restaurants in France, but seldom ever did.

Had a group of 6 of us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food is fantastic - and we had a wide variety of their dishes. Everything was very good, well prepared & flavorful. The staff is very attentive, and excellent at interacting with customers. They have a wonderful sense of humor, and were very friendly. Its not a restaurant that we frequent, but its a great place to have here in York, and well be back again for those special occasions where we want to splurge a little. If you are looking for fine dining, this is a wonderful option.

I had the Surf & Turf and my wife had the Parisian Chicken. I had the froglegs as an appetizer and my wife a pan seared Tuna fliet. We came here on a Saturday night and although we had no reservations the Matre D was so gracious as to find us a table for two at a moments notice. The waiter was so friendly and when we asked for a couple French Martinis he went and made them himself and they were perfect. So happy with our dinner tonight and we look forward to going back. Excellent fine dining experience!

The ambience was fair, but extremely loud. I could barely hear my server and not sure if she heard me. I got served the wrong soup and gave the server a chance to admit to her error, but that didnt go as planned. The amberjack was fair and my sides were cold. I have been to many places in France and have enjoyed EVERY experience, but this didnt come close. If you want to try something new, go for it. I probably will not visit again; thank York County for trying to be unique.

We happened upon this lovely little place by chance and were enchanted from the moment we entered until we left!! First of all, The Service is Phenomenal!! The Food is Exquisite!! We indulged ourselves on many of their delicacies and were delighted by every bite!! Every aspect of this charming restaurant is inviting and comfortable. We had a first class meal and will be going back again and again!! We recommend it Highly!! 5 Stars!!

Ive never had a bad experience at the Blue Heron. The service, the ambiance and the food are all fantastic. Ive been to restaurants in Paris that the Blue Heron rivals. The price is very reasonable especially when considering the quality of the food and what you would get elsewhere. Id highly recommend the Blue Heron for people who like French cuisine. They offer lunch, dinner, and occasionally brunches.

So...I travel a lot and I usually sit at the bar. While not a lot of people to talk to doing my time here, the food was amazing, drinks wonderful and the staff incredible. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
