First time at Grub Burger and I was very impressed. Its a new chain out of Texas, with ambitious plans for expansion. Interior design aims for an hipster aesthetic, with industrial materials galore, plus moody lighting effects and lots of posters featuring quirky quotes from famous people. Even the layout is different: the very first thing you pass is the bar, tho if you continue straight-on youll end up in a takeout line! As to the food, I was pleasantly surprised. Tho there was no cook-to-order option, the burgers were excellent -- more juicy and tender than anything Id get at my usual favorite spots. The menu highlights beer and spiked drinks, including a fun series of boozy, non-dairy shakes (I recommend the Jim Beam Caramel Bourbon shake). If youre looking for a more adult option to Red Robin, then give Grub a try. BTW: the owner said hes negotiating for more locations in Lower Bucks Co., including a spot at Oxford Valley Mall. Looking forward to it!

Went here for dinner for the first time last night. My husband had the tuna burger and commented that it was cooked perfectly (and thats hard to do). Then I bit into my turkey burger and it wasnt cooked all the way through, euck! I told the waitperson, who apologized and took my plate, then the manager came out and apologized and told me that they pride themselves on serving quality food. She offered to replace my entire order for free, AND take my order off our tab, AND then she gave me a coupon to return for a free burger. WOW. My replacement burger was great. My thanks to the staff and manager of this restaurant for doing the right thing with my order and ensuring that Ill come back again, which I will.

big fan of grub burger. Ive had most of their burgers, including the ghost burger, which is no joke. the ghost burger is incredibly spicy, and im no newcomer to hot food. the lockhart legend is pretty good, but my favorite is the texas luau. i highly recommend this burger. the tangy bbq sauce and jalapenos pair well with the sweetness of the pineapple. the pulled pork calms the spice so it isnt overpowering. this location also has great service. the food comes out quickly and the servers are always checking back to see if you need anything. this location is always clean and has many tvs always playing a basketball game or maybe a football game. this place is worth the visit.

Good burgers on good freshly baked rolls. My wife and I split the traditional "Front Porch" and the BBQ, Onion Ring, Bacon, Cheddar Burger :) Both were delicious. You can add a fried egg for a buck. The ice cream they used for the Root Beer float was "soft serve" and the fries are really skinny, but both still tasty. $5 gets you a kids meal complete with drink and side (fries, apples, etc) so its a steal for the kiddos! Its not better then Sketch burger in Fishtown, but Im looking forward to going back many times and trying the crawfish and other specialty burgers.

Amazing place. I have had a good deal of burgers in my lifetime but Grub Burger Bar is one of my favorites for sure. It really shines in the quality of food they serve. Everything is made fresh to order and tastes amazing. Not to mention the food is pretty healthy too for a burger restaurant. It is very clean inside and during my trip, the staff were AMAZING. I cannot get over how nice they were. I felt like a king (no joke). Either way, it is most definitely worth the trip if you are looking for a good burger in the area.

I wanted to like this place, and everything was good EXCEPT the burgers, and this is a "burger bar". Fries were good, milkshake was good, and my wifes salad entree was good! The burger, however, was literally crusted in salt. I like things very salty, but this was way overboard. My 3-year olds burger was just as oversalted, though he didnt complain. Probably an inexperienced chef. I may visit here again but I wont get a burger, or Ill specifically ask them "no salt".

Finally done with this place. The food is good but the service has been pretty bad consistently at the bar and only got worse tonight. Totally understaffed considering all the shakes they have to make. Bartender could only think of doing one thing at a time. Couldnt fit in noticing an empty beer glass for a while even when taking an order right next to me. Didnt even look up and around enough to try to get her attention. Not worth trying to eat with nothing to drink.

Burgers were decent with interesting toppings and milkshakes were very good. Had varied options other than beef as well. Fries were alright but nothing special. Bar seemed pretty well stocked with draft and spirit options. Prices were pretty high considering the quantity and quality of food. The service arrangement was a little confusing as someone greets you with a menu as soon as you enter but then its order and seat yourself.

Not bad, just badly overrated. The fries are good, the burgers just okay. Grub aims to be an awesome high end burger bistro and settles for serving sub-awesome burgers at high end prices. The atmosphere is fine, and immediate seating is usually available. But given the choice, I usually end up passing Grub on my way to Red Robin further up 611 in Warrington, which more than makes up in food quality what it lacks in chic decor.

So I went to go to the mall with my friends and came last this place and it was packed. So we decided to try it because we were all craving burgers. Majority of us got the guacamole burger and it was DELICOUS, absolutely well made. I highly recommend getting one of their milkshakes. The best burger Ive ever had in my entire living life. 1-10, I would rate it an 11. Best burger lace you will find in Philly.

Best burgers in the area and their shakes arent bad either! I do, however, suggest not doing anything other than medium-well (how they usually cook them) because I asked for medium once and it was raw, not rare RAW, in the center. They completely redeemed themselves and have me a whole new burger, quickly, with a whole new order of fries with it though! Friendly servers, quick service, highly recommended

The food was ok nothing outstanding. Our burgers were way to greasy. Food was a little pricey but not too bad. One thing that confused me is that you walk up order your food and then you pay for it. And as your passing your bill there is an option to tip and I never have a problem tipping but what am I tipping for, Ive done all the work thus far. Am i tipping myself.

Went with my wife for a quick lunch. The food was really tasty and came out really fast. I would recommend the Ghost burger for anybody who likes a burger with hot peppers. The one waitress stopped by a few times to check on us and she was very friendly and helpful with food suggestions. I cant wait to come back and try one of their shakes. They all looked so good!!

This place is FANTASTIC! We were visiting from out of town and stopped here on a whim and are so glad we did. I got the Thai Burger and subbed the meat for the chicken and it was the most fantastic chicken sandwhich I have ever eaten. We also got the ET shake which was amazing!!!! I only wish we had one of these near us!! Highly highly recommend!
