Called and tried to make a reservation and was told they do not accept reservations for less than eight people. They suggested that I call a half hour before and they will let me know. They just lost my business and will go somewhere else. Why would anyone wait to find out how their business is going for the evening when there are so many fine restaurants out there that do take reservations? Buddakan, Modomio, Savona or Suzanne Foos are all excellent.

First, although I had booked the table tow weeks in advance, they didnt have our name down for that evening. Second, the menu is 100% exactly the same as the Four Dogs tavern across the parking lot. What is the point of going to the Marshalton Inn if it is to have the same casual food as at the tavern? My ribeye steak was way overcooked and the pommes frites were greasy. Shame. One would expect better in such a lovely environment.

I called this morning and a woman answered. I ask if she has time to answer a couple of questions (what time do you open and may I make a reservation), a her reply was NO and hung up. Cearly she/or the restaurant does not want my money. If being rude and arrogant is the standard then I and my wife will NEVER go to this place.
