Our food took about forty minutes to come out and we were seated first. People came in 15 min after and got their food 20 min before us. The portions were tiny and the prices were high, these ratios would be acceptable in a nice restaurant in the city, but certainly not here. I ordered tho open faced roast beef it was extremely dry, and there was no waitress around to ask for more dressing. The waitress was very nice but I asked for (and received) a few pieces of fruit for my six month old and was charged 6.50... this really topped it off for me. The main reason we went here was for the exotic meats, and there was nothing of the sort. The menu was limited and unappealing. The atmosphere was very stuffy

We have eaten here at least 3 times. It is is a standard Inn menu for Pennsylvania. The last time we were there I ordered lamb chops and she ordered NY strip. The steak was spot on. While my $30 chops were 3 bottle cap sized pieces that were overcooked. I sent them straight back. The bar is always fun with a bartender of character. Id stop in for a drink or for a summer lunch on the veranda. But skip dinner here.

LOVE this restaurant. Great staff & kitchen. When in Kennett Square EAT Mushrooms! Great menu and well prepared steak, seafood and apps. Tip 1 - Look for the Specials chalkboard on the way in and order the Chefs daily specials. Tip 2 - Municipal parking garage is very nearby and no charge for parking on most Weekends! Tip 3 - Across the street from Live Entertainment at the Kennett Flash.

Food tasted great but the portions were small for the price you pay. Dining area was dated, but clean. Menu had a good mix of seafood and turf. Service was weird, we were one of three tables in the entire restauraunt, but our original waitress couldnt serve us so they gave us a new one, causing a long wait just to get drinks and our order taken. Our new waitress was great though.

We love the Kennett Inn and dine here even though we live north of West Chester. The menu is a perfect blend of classic with a touch of "trending" and has never become boring as some other local fine-diining restaurants. The service is excellent and the preparation and presentation of the menu exceptional.

I was not feeling well when we ate here. Despite that, the waitress was friendly, the mushroom soup was outstanding along w my crab stuffed mushrooms. We would have stayed longer, but by then my husband realized just how sick I was. I truly was impressed, despite my illness!

The Kennett Inn is a treasure. Great food with various daily specials, but best of all is the owner & staff - Steve, Jimmy, Joyce and Bev - who all go out of their way to make you feel at home. Kudos also to Alfred (the Head Chef) for his menu planning.

Charming dining room with well-prepared basic fare. Pub has awesome character, especially on Saturdays with live piano. Not trendy as with other restaurants in Kennett Square, but an institution worthy of frequent visits so as to become a "local".

Wonderful food, charming staff, great atmosphere; a local community institution. The place to have a good meal, fine drink, and romantic night out. Came for the mushrooms, stayed for the company

A great local restaurant, with a menu that has something for everyone. Weve found it a great spot to have dinner with girlfriends with a glass of wine. The staff is friendly and attentive.

This place is your grandparents restaurant, weird smells, menu is run-of-the-mill. Many better options in Kennett.
