Well Im twisted on this review. My wifes food looked great and she was happy. My $28 Ribeye was a glob of fat, very thin cut of meat. Less then 1/2" thick for $28 should have been a real steak 3/4-1" cut. Reality was in the $14-18 quality "pushing that". Salad was good fresh greens, veggie a little over steamed. Dont think Ill go back, but again I will say the wifes food was good. I will also say I love cooking and expect quality when I pay. Im a bit of a food snob but think you should be also when paying top dollar.

We love this place and are regulars, but they really need to get a better AC system if they plan on serving customers in the hot summer months. The food and service are great, but I am giving them a 3 out of 5 this time because our Fathers Day dinner was uncomfortable to say the least. While we were there another family got up and left because it was too warm in the dinning area. The bar area was cool and pleasant. Ceiling fans dont do anything to combat humidity. Put some money into a better AC system.

We arrived at the Brown Derby very excited for our Fathers day dinner. The place was dingy at best. However, looks can be desiving until we were seated and realized the place was as hot as a boiler room. It was clearly cooler outside. Given the price of the menu ($62 for a lobster)rather than sweat while eating we decide to leave.

The food and service were excellent and the price very reasonable. The prime rib was perfectly done and very tender. Snapper soup reminded me of the Old Original Bookbinders in Philadelphia. Crab stuffed mushrooms and eggplant lasagna were also standouts. Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Probably the worst crab cake Ive ever eaten. It tasted more like fish than crab. Took the waitress half an hour to take our order at the bar. We were about five people at the bar. And then it took another fourty minutes for the food to get to us. And I wont go into the typos on the board...
