After several recommendations from co-workers, I took my wife there. Ok, where to start, first - service was horrendous during the Saturday night rush - they simply are skimping on the wait staff or something. Second, the food quality is highly questionable (yes this is Mexican, I get it, and set my expecations accordingly ). Several examples on food quality: 1) table chips not warm (whatever not a big deal), 2) I ordered the strip steak (the ingrediant listed in many of their marque dishes)... rubbery, thin, and I question whether it was pre-frozen or fresh 3) my wife ordered their signature crab leg dish (one of the few dishes on the menu with a picture... ok has to be good, right?) terrible. They did not not even OWN, in the entire restaurant, a crab leg cracker or mallet. So they bring my wife a sharp steak knife!?!? Really!? Spoke to the manager, and this is where it gets scary... he appologized for the poor service. I asked why they couldnt handle the volume (on typical Saturday night, no holiday or event) - he couldnt answer me. Then I asked why they are risking my wife cutting herself with a steak knife on crab legs. He told me they dont own crackers because recently they re-sold off all their crab to another vendor. WTF, where did my wifes come from, some scraps from the freezer?? The table next to me, a gentleman had a broken wine glass (in the bottom of the glass with glass/other stuff driftin on the bottom) - I watched his discovery phase all the way through him telling the waitress (I had nothing better to do while we sat there idle hoping to get service). The waitress thought he did it and wouldnt comp him till he raised a stink! Wife liked the drinks (2 stars only because of this, one star otherwise). DO NOT BRING DATES HERE. THIS PLACE IS A FAMILY RESTURANT WITH KIDS CRAWLING ALL OVER THE PLACE AND IT HAS A WORN DOWN CHEESY ATMOSPHERE. I have not walked out of a establishment in about 10 years, we walked out after settling up (wifes dish was compd since she physically could not open the crabs - LOL). Even Chilis is better than this place, that is a very very sad commentary.

My husband and I were here on Tuesday night. We are new to the area and love Mexican food so we thought we would give it a try based on the good reviews. We had no idea it was all you could eat taco night, but by the time we arrived it was after 8pm - it was busy still but not packed to capacity. The service was incredibly slow and overall poor. Our waitress took our drink orders, just 2 waters and a sangria. She came back with chips and salsa a few minutes later. Then 10 minutes later the waters arrived. It took about 20-25 minutes to get the sangria. We waited a total of 50 minutes for the entrees to arrive after ordering. It seemed like our waitress forgot about our table during our dining experience here and was not attentive at all. She came back once in between us ordering and the food arriving to ask if we wanted more chips for the salsa. My husbands empty water glass had been sitting at the edge of the table for awhile. We declined more chips, but my husband started to say he would like another water and she was gone before he could ask. She didnt even tell us if the food would be coming out soon or apologize for how long it was taking or anything. Had my sangria not arrived at that point, we would have considered leaving and finding another place to grab dinner. I ordered the chimichanga and my husband ordered 3 of the all you can eat tacos. The food was not impressive at all. Chimichangas are usually deep fried and that is how this was described on the menu. What came out was baked, not deep fried. It was pretty much a burrito. It came with a complimentary cheese enchilada which was horrible. My husbands meal looked sad and he was not impressed with the food or service. I wouldnt recommend this place at all based on our experience here.

While the food at this place is excellent and the portions are perfect, the service is little to be desired. Our servers are always nice, but it takes forever to get anything you order. Unfortunately last time I was in with my father, I was upset to find that the stuffed cheesy poblano peppers I always get were never heated, and were served to me stone cold. When I informed the server or the error, it took them over 10 minutes to bring out a new plate. So, while my father was chowing down on dinner, I was sitting there twiddling my thumbs. With a little more attention to detail and quicker service, this place could be amazing. However, for now, I can only condone giving three stars.

We love this restaurant! Its our go-to place for birthday celebrations, taking guests out, etc. The prices are quite modest, the atmosphere is lovely and family friendly as well as adult friendly. We love that its a locally owned small business and employs a local staff who work hard and are friendly. We prefer to send our money back into the local community and support jobs for local people as much as possible. We like to go at off times (i.e. past lunch hour, mid afternoon) because its a popular place and can be quite busy at times. Their food has amazing, fresh, full flavor. They must use really good ingredients and skilled kitchen staff. : )

This is an excelente Mexican food option to have on your shortlist. Service is good, usually fast and the dishes are authentic and delicious. Im not an experto in this particular region of Mexicos cuisine, but when i ordered their seafood soup, i was very disappointed. It lacked flavor, unlike most of their other seafood options. Either this dish is meant to be bland (historic hangover cure) or it was poorly done. I would not order again but would order their other amazing food! *please note the spanglish thar was autimicakky done by Google spellcheck amd was Corny enough to leave...

My friend made a reservation...but on arrival they did not have one. Then we waited over an hour for our food...we asked for the manager, she sent a different server. We were told they were starting to make our food...they had forgotten our order. When we got our bill we were charged for extra chips and salsa...again we asked for the manager...she again sent a different server...we insisted on speaking to the manager...she reluctantly came to our table clearly annoyed and with no apologies for the service. Food...was not hot and the manager was rude. Not a fan of Taqueria Moroleon.

Was there for lunch on Memorial Day- our second visit. Service was very unwelcoming. My son ordered Chili Relleno. It was frozen and he bent the fork trying to cut it. Reported it to our waitress and she offered to replace. Not wanting to take chance, he ordered another dish. They served him a small portion of it in an appetizer plate and asked him to use the rice and beans from the Relleno plate. Disgusting. When asked for the manager, I was told there was no manager but the chef was informed. Not going back again.

Food is great! Nice place! I am only writing about service at the bar area... VERY POOR. As always, customers are key and here .... I dont think the bartender realizes it. Never attentive, have to ask for everything and she is always "in the weeds" all the time even when its not that busy. It has been 3 months since we have been there. Gave it 3 tries and each time ..... major fail. We might try it again ... hopefully new bartender. ( I should know what her name was but I forgot to ask).
