i was tired of the other two close-by chinese places and tried here. not the best location and they dont deliver but was pleasantly surprised. Everything was good. I found the generals chicken closer to a fusion/peiwei/pfchang than the syrupy bland crap served by most take-out chinese places. Best chinese Ive had in the state of Delaware (not counting the chinese festival) and Ive tried many. The review here decrying the fish I believe is referring to the japanese place in the same restaurant as new dragon doesnt sell sushi.

Nice family runs this place, and we have enjoyed every meal since we got to Hockessin 6 years ago. This is our Chinese food of preference locally. They also have a deal-spend $20 (or maybe $30?) and get a free 2-liter soda. I occassionally eat in for lunch with one of my kids. We share a meal.

Cant eat in. They have no serving people. They give you plastic utensils, no water no ice be service and the food is mediocre. Go elsewhere. The take out is just as tasteless.
