Do yourself a favor and go to Dairy Swirl, which is just down the street. More choices, decent prices, actual food next door, mini golf out back, and the employees have been friendly no matter how many times I go or what time of day. And if you dont want to go to Dairy Swirl, go to McDonalds or a nearby dinner for desert. Both would be a much better and much quicker experience. There is no reason whatsoever to set foot in this horrendous excuse for a DQ. Me and my family made that mistake. We ordered a blizzard each, 3 total. After paying, we asked for a receipt but were told that theyll just "call out our order." Pretty sure they legally have to give us a receipt when we ask, and I saw that receipts had been printed out, but whatever. Its ice cream. Who cares. We get into the line to pick up our food. Theres 6 or 7 people ahead of us. "Wow, this DQ is pretty popular. Guess the makeover wasnt just for show!" But it was. The reason there were so many people was because the 3 employees and the manager decided to find the most inefficient way to create a blizzard, and somehow top that. Thanks to the brand new layout, you could see the employees while the attempted to make a blizzard. Despite having so many personnel, they only made 1 blizzard at a time and it took about 5 minutes to do it. And they still looked terrible despite how long they took to make. They probably thought, instead of focusing on quality or quantity, they would just ignore both. Of course, everyone already paid, and good luck getting your money back without a receipt. But thats not even the end of it. Remember how the cashier said they would just "call out our order"? The completely thinkable and predictable happened. 2 people had ordered the same blizzard. The person who should have gotten theirs second got theirs first. Not their fault, though. They were just listening for their order like we were all told. So the person who should have gotten theirs tells the employees they made a mistake. For some reason the managers mind was blown that something went wrong with this trainwreck of an operation. The employee calling out the orders asked if we had our tickets or receipts. We all look at each other and say no. Shes says something along the lines of "None of you grabbed your reciepts?" We were all sure to correct her and tell her we were never given any receipt or asked if we wanted one. Hell, I asked for one but wasnt given one. So, 1 employee said we didnt need receipts, and another had no clue we werent even given receipts. That means the manager either hadnt had one employee trained, or had them trained in different ways. Either way, it result in a complete failure in communication. By now, everyone is frustrated. Someone even makes an audible comment about how employees at another DQ at least pretend to not hate their jobs, which was completely true. Everyone looked dead inside. And some even looked dead on the outside, too. Finally, Im up. Ready to wait 5 minutes for all 3 blizzards and take them to my car were the others were waiting, since they didnt feel like standing for 30+ minutes. Nope, I still waited a good 10-15 minutes for all 3, despite paying for all in one order. They couldnt figure out how to put more than 1 blizzard in an order on their computer screen that displayed the orders. After getting all 3 of my blizzards, the employees didnt even give me one of those cardboard cup holders you can get at every single fast food place. They either didnt have them, which would be a failure on the managers part, or didnt care enough to give me one, which would have been a failure on the manager and employees part. We left, went to grab something from a nearby store and drove by DQ again. The manager mus have actually given up. Despite it being Saturday and their sign saying open til 10, they had completely closed down by 9:30. Which is probably for the best. If they let people in until 10, Im sure they wouldnt able to close until 11.

Where to start, went in with a few customers that ordered but were waiting for their ice cream. I placed my order and stood to wait. A younger girl who knew the cashier came in after me to order and 3 minutes after her order was placed she received her ice cream, while myself and 4 other customers waited and looked at each other. Then a young man brought out a small ice cream said the name very fast that no one knew what he said and we had him repeat it 2 more times. Since no one took claim I figured it was 1 of my three ice cream orders. I stepped forward and said I ordered three not one, with a big smile he said the other two are on the way. So I educated him on proper handling of an order my entire order should be made and prepared in a bag packaged to go as one order not coming out 1 at a time. they then smashed lids on them put them in a bag remembered spoons last minute and handed me the bag. Meanwhile others there before me got their items after me. Except one women who was waiting at least 40 minutes. She was much more patient then me, I finally asked where this patient womens order was since she should have received hers long before my order was taken, the 4 or 5 employees then scrambled to ask what she was to get. There is no organization here, they can take orders fast, but making the product and getting it to you in a proper order is far from a start. This place was once a packed location that the people behind the counter took your order no matter how big, by memory and finished your order bringing it to you complete and all together. If you have nothing to do for the day and want a laugh at mismanagement then this is the place for you. If you want high quality service with great ice cream go down the street to the rest of the crowd at dairy swirl.

THE WORST DAIRY QUEEN EVER. Save yourself some trouble, go to Schells down the street. This Dairy Queen is always out of ingredients for common blizzards and I hope you didnt buy the local flavor coupons for this place!!! You can only use them on certain things and then you cant use more than 1. Every single establishment that offers these coupons accepts them however you want to use them, this Dairy Queen does not. It is a dump compared to how it used to be run. The manager was even on the phone while I was there, she could have made it right, but she didnt care, she just gave me more ways I could NOT use my coupon! BAD BUSINESS. I tell everyone I know to not step foot in there.

I went there and ordered a milkshake some how with opening the door to leave it dropped and I turned around hoping to get a replacement but NO. The girl there just picked up my broken milkshake cup and put it In a second cup. I stared at her like she had 3 eyes. I really hate this diary queen its really racist when I first went to dairy queens in Pottstown the employees were REALLLY welcoming. But not here when I first got out my car the customers who were outside stared at me up and down then as I went inside the employees were kind of arguing to see who would wait on me. This experience really makes me think that all places in my area are racist.
