Right now I am so pissed. I went to this restaurant tonight ( 11/18/14 ) with my son. I ordered Fried Calamari as an appetizer and Lollipop Lamb as a main course. There was 1/4 inch of oil on the bottom of the plate of calamari which I didnt notice until I was halfway finished with them. I told my waitress about it and she gave me an extra napkin to soak up the grease. When my lamb chops came to the table they were RAW on the inside. That just tells me they were frozen when the chef ( I use that term very loosely) started cooking them. I showed it to my waitress and she said she would have him finish cooking them. Im not the type of person to send anything back. I feel that if I send something back, it insults the chef and hell most definitely spit in my food so Im just not sending anything back. No way. I told her to just wrap it up and Ill finish cooking it at home. The waitress said she would have to inform her manager about it anyway. I said fine. You would think the manager would come to the table and at least apologize or possibly take the item off the bill. That never happened. The people at this place handled the situation extremely unprofessionally. I dont think Ill ever be back there again. My son loves the pasta and the bread but Im just so turned off by the place now. HUGE THUMBS DOWN.

I was there 2 weeks ago for my birthday with a party of 8. Have been here before and never had a bad meal or service. But that day was terrible. A friend ordered a French Martini. The waitress brought it to her and said "taste this" with a disgusted look on her face. Hmmm that makes someone feel like its going to be yummy. NOT! It was terrible didnt even taste like or have the color of a French martini. The same woman order some kind of chicken over pasta with shrimp. Had the pasta and chicken but no shrimp. Asked nicely I never got my shrimp. Comes back with shrimp and cocktail with side of butter. Really? Very disgusted. Like I said never had a problem til that night. And I never write reviews. But I figure I would bring it to someones attention.

We stopped for an early dinner (5:30pm) on our way from Toronto to Fairfield County in the middle of a long, rainy, stormy road trip. The garlic bread is unbelievable, salads were fresh and standard. I had the "Christmas Wreath" pasta special with nicely peppered scallops and buttery shrimp on top of very fresh, perfectly cooked al dente red and green fettucine pasta. My husband had chicken parmasaen which was definitely homemade, fresh and satisfying for someone seeking the classic chicken parm. Staff was friendly and service was good. We both ate too much and didnt save room for desert, which looked amazing...NY cheesecake, red velvet cake, and tiramisu! Scranton should be proud!

Its the typical italian-american restaurant. The dishes can be very greasy. Being Italian I was quite disappointed. One thing I cant stand to see is this marinara sauce confused as a traditional tomato sauce...it is not true. Italians dont eat marinara sauce unless it is on a pizza as topping only. The bread was covered by garlic, too much; a stuffed pasta dish was covered by this marinara sauce and a kind of ricotta that was not fresh at all. Depending on what you are used to eat, I could suggest to go or not to go to this place. If your expectations are not high, go and enjoy the american-italian cousine that this restaurant offers.

This is a nice italian restaurant! All the food is wonderful and the specials are great too. My favorite is the creamy rissoto! You can get it instead of pasta and its to die for! Also their house dressing is oh so good too! They have a wood brick oven and their rolls also wonderful with the seasoned butter that goes with it. Just a nice experience overall!

Quaint, family owned business loaded with real Italian flavor. One of the freshest places out there, their dough for the pizza and bread is made daily in house as well as their noodles for the pasta, cut fresh right before they cook it for you. One cant forget the wood fire brick oven that makes for an unforgettable flavor, smell, atmosphere and good time!

We like this place. Great Lasagna and Tiramisu! Old family Italian restaurant feel. Nothing extravagant and nothing moderate. Food and service is just right. Only issue is they never answer the phone. Id like to know if theyve got what I want before I go as I cant find another restaurant in the area that serves Lasagna AND Tiramisu!

This is our go to place to NEVER be disappointed. Food is delicious and the service topnotch. We just had the pumpkin pasta special and manicotti. Sooo good. The regular menu is wonderful and I look forward to the monthly specials. Its where we take our family and friends knowing it will be a good, tasty time.

The coal fired pizza is AMAZING. Try a pizza Magherita. One of the best versions of it in the area. The entrees are fantastic as well. Very nice and welcoming staff. Quick and attentive waitresses.

Oil sauce on pasta, waitress did not check on us, had to ask for wine menu, wine we ordered was old and had an odd taste, lettuce on salad was brown. Wall next to table had dried food on it.

The owners sister was very rude to her staff which was uncalled for, besides her the staff was nice and food was good. We are not likely to return until she is gone or learns some manners.

We had a catered lunch by this restaurant. The food was very cold so it did not taste very good. The lady who brought the food was only concerned in getting her momey so she could leave.

Great homemade pastas, wood fired pizza, only complaint is that it is hit or miss on their sauce, sometimes it is delish and other times it taste like someone threw in a bucket of sugar.

I like this places brick oven pizza which they, sadly, only sell as a 12 inch. The rest of the food is mediocre at best. Very nice people and service.

Not sure why this place is highly recommended. Food was nothing to brag about. I have eaten Italian in many states and Olive Garden has better food.
