This place does not stand behind its product. My son pulled out a string from the red tomato pie the day after I picked up the pie. I tried to call the bakery immediately on Christmas Eve, but nobody picked up the phone and the voicemail box was full so I couldnt leave a message. I called the store after Christmas since they were not open on Christmas, but found myself speaking with a very judgmental and unprofessional manager, who in my opinion, does not know her trade. She told me that I should not be eating the tomato pie after two days even though I never mentioned that anyone was eating it four days after the pickup. Additionally, she called my warning of posting a consumer alert on Google review a "threat" after I tried to be fair and wanted to be transparent with her by telling her the review would be posted for the benefit of other customers. Finally, she told me to bring in the string. If I were her, I would not do that because why would I want the other customers to see the embarrasing string and hear about the story? Well, I wasnt going to do that anyway since Corropolese is not next door to me and I do not feel that I should be inconvenienced after paying for a defective product. Moreover, if, according to her advice, pies are not to be kept beyond two days, why am I expected to keep the disgusting string 4 days later? It is a shame that these tomato pies taste very good, but a piece of foreign object in any purchased food is a deal killer. Most importantly, I expect an operation to stand behind its product and to trust its customers when they bring things to its attention. It is important that businesses understand that they are operating in the era of Google and Facebook. If you dont do the right thing and assume good intent of your customers, you will lose them.

I never write bad reviews, but I called here two days prior to needing cupcakes with no icing for a party this coming weekend. I first asked if they did cupcakes with no icing and they said yes, and could have them for me on Friday morning when I wanted to pick them up. I thought this would be perfect and save me time since I have to do a sea-theme on the tops of them. I got there this morning to pick them up and every single one had icing on them. I let the gentleman know that they werent supposed to have icing and he said "oh, I thought you wanted vanilla cupcakes with vanilla icing". I said no I didnt wanting icing on them. He relays with "Well I dont have any other cupcakes". I guess Im just left to scrape them off myself then. Why would I call and ask if they did cupcake orders with no icing and then order cupcakes with icing on them? I also had to pay full price for an order that was messed up and they didnt even offer to make new ones I could pick up later. What awful customer service. This was the first and last time I ever go here, it was a very disappointing experience after hearing so many good things about this place.

This place is decent when you can get it, that is a big problem. So, I had just about written this place off because the lack of hours combined with the lack of product; others I have spoken to have similar experiences and have told me they just stopped trying, as well. I also felt the quality had gone down slightly. But recently I was going to visit someone who had wanted to try their pizza. I thought I would give it a shot and stop by....they sold out of what we needed and it was only noon. Never again, its not worth the effort needed.

Corroplolese is a great deli and bakery. I often go for lunch sandwiches made to order, but you can also pick up deli items, and other Italian food related stuff like pasta and sauces. What is not obvious is the bakery that has a good selection of very good breads including different italian long and round loaves, pumpernickel and others. The quality of the food items is excellent, and the made to order lunch items are priced affordably.

When I worked in Lansdale, I loves getting tomato pie and it was spectacular and awesome. Now that I live in Pottstown, I looked forward to being so close to such a culinary treat. However they are NEVER open and the one time I got there before 4pm, they had nothing. So sad, such a tease to have one so close, but either always empty or closed. It says theyre open to 5 on here!

Addicted - love the tomato pie and the best red sauce I have ever had. The red sauce tastes like the sauce my little Italian neighbor used to bring to us when I was growing up. Good stuff! Weve tried other tomato pies at places close to our house and there is no comparison. Were hooked.

Ive never had a bad experience with Corropolese. I started going to them when we lived in the Norristown area & were thrilled when they opened a store in Limerick. I was just there today for rolls, since they are the best & freshest around & came home with more then expected.

This is the kind of place that you love having near your house and love bragging to your friends how close you live to it. Their tomato pie is why everyone else tries to make tomato pie. Their hoagies are as good as it gets....homemade bread remember.

Stopped in for a sourdough round, my usual store is the lansdale location, both always offer great items and if you have not had the tomato pie, you are surely missing something great. Make sure its fresh though day old baked bread is never good.

Their tomato pie is the best in the area. They are reasonably priced and have a wide variety of party favorites. They are always happy to substitute or make changes around your party food favorites.

I have to go with a 4 here! The tomato pie is amazing, but the cheesesteak was disappointing. If the cheesesteak came with Whiz.... I would have given the place a 5th star.
