I LOVED the Patron location in Wexford, however its a haul from the city, so I havent been there in a long while. I was super excited when I saw they were opening up in East Liberty. This review is for that location. However, I was super disappointed when I visited this time. This place used to have the best homemade margaritas & guacamole around Pittsburgh. Not the case anymore! The margarita I got tasted like it came from a grocery store bottle. The guacamole was definitely not the chunky, homemade stuff that I have had before at this restaurant. It was smooth and blended up, like the stuff you get out of the grocery store premade packages. It didnt even have any cilantro in it. I think IVE MADE BETTER guacamole than this! The chips seemed like they came from a bag too. I was so disappointed. I got my usual menu item, the shrimp chimichanga, it was not as much of a disaster as the rest of the food and drinks where, however I could take it or leave it. My friends & I will unfortunately will not be back! What happened to this place????

Every friend that I have introduced here keeps going back, and obviously I do. It is nice to have some food of this quality at such a reasonable price. I keep getting their fajitas because it is everything I want in a meal, and my friends that Ill eat out with here all seem to have their favorites too. Dispite that we often all order our own favorite thing every time we go, they have lots of great things on the menu. You will never regret a visit here.

One of the best places for Mexican food. People only seem to know of the Wexford location so this location is never busy. This place has the best fajitas. They give you more meat and veggies than the 3 tortillas they give you can handle. Between the huge portions and complimentary tortilla chips, youll never walk out of here hungry. The colorful dining room, Mexicana music, and Mexican cooks really add to the experience.

Decent Sonoran-style Mexican food. Being from Tucson, AZ, Ive certainly had better, but living in the northeast Ive definitely had much, much worse. Servings are fairly good sized. My wife had the Chili Colorado, and the sauce was very nicely done. My carne asada taco were somewhat bland, but not terrible. I think they have better items, especially if you order carne asada often. Friendly wait staff and fast service.

The food is often overly greasy. I found that especially evident with the tacos I ordered. Instead of home-fried corn shells, they used the inauthentic and honestly unappetizing store bought version. Inside, the ground beef was dripping with grease, making one taco unbearable

Was told wed be seated in 45 minutes - it took over an hour and there were a lot of empty tables in the meantime. After we finally got our food, we waited over a half an hour for someone to come by to even request the check. The food was okay, but the service was awful.

Just got yelled at by a server for trying to use a 10% coupon when the manager wasnt there. Shouldnt there be a plan in place for accepting their own coupons? Food is just ok. We live in the area and certainly wont be going back to be treated so poorly again.

Very nice I had the enchalatta mexicana, my vegan wife had a chimmichanga. Both of us loved everything. Decor, music, restrooms, plating, and cleanliness. Will have to come back again. Sorry about the spelling.
