My husband ordered the Godorniz "Cornish". Description states it is cooked in one of three sauces and served with rice and beans. When we got home and opened the container, the smell of old grease perferated the air around us. It was sickening. Once we got past the smell we realized the look was equally as sickenIng. Pieces of this so called "cornished hen" was lying there, burnt to a crisp. We did our best to locate some type of edible meat on it, but came up with nothing. So, my husband headed back up to the restaurant to try and resolve this matter. He was simply told that "thats the way its supposed to be.". If that be the case, I have no clue how the business has a rating as high as it does, or is even still in business for that matter. Needles to say, my husband left empty handed and hungry. At arrived at San Luis at about 5 PM as its sole patron, but the establishment quickly filled up within twenty minutes. The restaurant stands out for having fresh corn tortillas. The dinner item I ordered was good, albeit greasy. The salsas (red, green, and guacamole) tasted fresh and with good flavor. The restaurant is certainly better than the Mi Pueblo chain, but not as good as the Azteca on of highway 68 (which recently closed).

Tried the restaurant for the FIRST TIME on Tuesday evening. The place wasnt crowded. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant is very clean and the food was fantastic. Everything was fresh. The price and portion sizes are great! Their sweet tea was just right. It was truly southern sweet. Great food, service and atmosphere. I will return!

If this is the best mexican food youve had you need to get out more. Food was ok. Service was great. Just your plain old run of the mill mexican food. Nothing special. If I was them I would create a fancy, simple menu. And make homeade tortillas, corn and flour. And would make fancy, simple homeade desserts. Just MHO.

The food is fantastic; easily some of the best Mexican food in Greensboro, and the prices are great for what you get. Unfortunately, the service is not so hot. Its gotten better recently, but its pretty hit or miss. The food makes up for it, though!

My family loves this place. We go about once a month, and the staff knows us and our child by name, and often have our order ready before we have a chance to place it. They always are efficient and friendly, and have great food.

This location has the best options for a diverse group. The ambiance is warm, and inviting, with great service. The homemade corn tortillas on weekends are excellent. Ive never had a bad appetizer or entree here.

Ordered the chicken with pineapple to go - there was PAPER left on the pineapple. When i called to complain ask for a refund, I was told they were "busy" not to call back, and senorita hung up on me. NEVER AGAIN!

Have never been so disgusted in my life. While eating roach crawled down the wall. We were in booth beside the kitchen which means roach came from kitchen. Staff is polite. Will NEVER eat here again.

They cheat me off a horchata drink. I order a large horchata and they gave me a small cup and put the cup into a large cup. I didnt notice till I arrived home. Be careful when ordering from there.
