Cafe Moulin, located in Shadyside Pennsylvania, is one of the most excellent eateries in the entire city of Pittsburgh. Known for their beautifully prepared crepes, and their delicious coffees, this French-themed restaurant is PERFECT for breakfast and lunch. The staff is super friendly and checks in on you frequently to ensure that your stay is well spent. Cafe Moulin is a very lively place, and attracts many different audiences and crepe-lovers alike. The atmosphere in this place is absolutely fantastic and truly transports you to a France or Paris fantasy. The crepes and food itself is cooked to perfection and the taste is out of this world. I would recommend the Ham and Swiss Cheese crepe or the Belgian crepe. Both are mouthwatering. Overall, I would rate Cafe Moulin a 24/5 if I could, but sadly, the rating cannot exceed five. Manger au café moulin! Vous ne le regretterez pas!

This is one of my favourite places for breakfast in Pittsburgh, I visit it several times a month. Its a wonderful place to sit and have a nice relaxed breakfast with a friend or two. Seating is limited, however, and its a small place, so I would not recommend going with a group of more than five or six, tops. The atmosphere is cozy and cute. Service is always quick for me since I visit during weekdays, although I believe there is usually a small wait on the weekends. The menu is mostly crepes, with some french toast. Every item I have tried has been absolutely excellent, whether sweet or savory. They also offer a variety of delicious coffee drinks, which are consistently good, rather than being hit or miss like some places are with coffee. Overall, its a fun place with a great menu and reasonable prices.

Went here this past weekend for breakfast and it was very good. The service was quick even with just one waitress and the food was good. The price was reasonable for the size of the dishes. If you want to save yourself from a massive sugar rush, stay away from the fresh toast with the strawberry sauce and goat cheese (not to mention it was just a weird combination in my opinion). Just go with the classic french toast and have the toppings on the side as you want them. Also, if you order OJ ask for ice in it if you like your OJ cold.

I have come here so many times and each time is pretty consistent. Sometimes if they get something wrong, they fix it immediately for you. The sizes is perfect and my friend and I would always get a savory crepe and then share a sweet crepe. Its so yummy and they give you a fresh salad with you savory crepe on the side. The people are really kind and the service is fairly quick! I definitely recommend.

Walked in and the most personable face greeted us, taking our name and very politely letting us know about the moderate wait. Ordered the spinach feta savory crêpe and also the Walnut Street sweet creep with the addition of raspberry compote. Both were brimming with flavor and freshness. Loved the béchamel in the savory crêpe. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, thank you J!

Awesome crepes! Everything is fresh and made from scratch and made to order. The servers are extremely friendly and take the time to get to know you. We like to go as soon as they open when its not as crowded. Super busy closer to the noon hour, very difficult to find parking and a pretty long wait to get seated.

I loved this little cafe. The salad and the crepe were both outstanding. These people obviously know what theyre doing! I beat the rush, so I didnt have to wait for a table, but shortly after I got there I did see several people waiting. Get there early! The food is worth it!

This is the best crepe place in Pittsburgh. Everything is delicious. Very good service. It is quiet not like some restaurants which play music that distract you, you can actually quietly converse with your company and enjoy a good time as well.

It was first time we came here. I liked this place because of super nice employees, very yummy crepes and amazing coffee which is even better than in Starbucks. If you love coffee, you need to try it here. My latte was perfect for me

A good choice of crèpes (french pancakes) but much too sweet and very small if you compare them with the French, Belgian, ...pancakes. Mine tasted good because I asked a custom made pancake: plain pancake with Strawberries.

Incredible. I ordered the Atlantic crepe and was stunned at the taste and preparation. Every bite contained a piece of smoked salmon. The prices are great for the portions and the service is top-notch. Definitely recommend!

This is definitely a good choice. I went in to have some good Sunday afternoon coffee and cake. Took the banana/nutella crepe. Perhaps a little too sweet. Anyway I will certainly come back to try the non sweet crepes.

I got the Barcelona french toast and it was delicious! They also have amazing savory and sweet crepes and coffee drinks. There is generally a bit of a wait, but its worth it. The atmosphere is cozy and a bit noisy.

It was simply delightful. Had the Halle Berry, Barcelona, Café Mocha, and an esspresso with some eggs and bacon. An amazing combo indeed. If youre from out of town such as I am, I would strongly recommend!!

It is a dark, dingy little place in a basement. There is really good selection but the meal that I had just wasnt very good. My boyfriend really liked his. Maybe I just chose the wrong thing to order.

Great service despite waiting half an hour for a table of 4. Saturday brunch gets really busy but its totally worth coming here. The French toast is really fluffy.

Ive had about 3 of the savory crepes and really enjoyed them. They do the best they can with the space but its uncomfortable to sit and makes service difficult.

Solid, small cafe. Turn over was quick so there was no wait. Short, delicious menu and great coffee. Great morning after spot if youre into that.

Excellent crepes, great twist on classic French crepes with a little flair. Service and staff were excellent. Small space, but crowd moved quickly.

The service and food are both excellent. I only go during the weekdays, which means I can always find a seat. Weekends are too busy for me.

A lovely place, with great food and friendly service. A little cramped and a long wait, though it may have been particularly busy.

The salty crepe was pretty good. The sweet crepe way too sweet to my European taste. But that was a descent experience overall.
