Please read to the end. This place is the worst. The food was lukewarm and the sushi tasted like it was off ice for too long. The crawfish was not fresh, the watermelon was warm and the so called sprite tasted like alka seltzer and worse of all me and my 6 year old had to keep going through plate after plate because the dishes were DIRTY. Now to the good part, two nights ago when i was there a disgruntled employee threw a fork at a black lady, (wrong thing to do in a resturant full of black people) that was a amazing argument but wait it gets better (i dont know who wrote these other reviews, ALL LIES) when i got the bill i paid for 2 adults and 3 children. The bill came to 57.00 so i gave them my card and signed my reciept. As we leave and im straping the kids into the car this chick comes running out in a frenzy talking about i owe 8.00 for three kids drinks. I said i paid and her response was "well i made a mistake" in some jacked up english. I told her that wasnt my problem and see when i go to the buffet i tip $1.00 or $2.00. Thus ungrateful heffa got $5.00 for 1.00 worth of service well anyway LMAO they threatened to call the cops and told me that God saw what i did lol. They made the mistake. They wanted to run my credit card again and i was like nope if i really owe take it out the tip well her and the manager got mad and said forget it after crying about she (the table cleaner) would have to pay for the childrens drinks. Lol they walked off telling me to never come there again. My pleasure. #HealthInspectorVisit

I accurately rate this place as 1 star. And the people who deserve that are the servers. Theyre very friendly and do their job correctly. However, Im very disappointed with how their business operates recently. They are overcharging people $2. They advertise everywhere that their lunch cost $9.99. If you go anytime before 3:30pm, they now charge you $9.99 without letting you know. If you ask them, theyll tell you that they are serving "brunch". Thats ridiculous. Theyre fasley advertising that they serve $7.99 for lunch. If you go anytime before 3:30pm, youre charged as brunch. If you go after 3:30pm, you are charged Dinner. So where is the Lunch that they are advertising? Now, Ive gone here many times. I go here at least once a week... And I can tell you that the food has gotten mediocre.

We showed up without reservations on a late afternoon one Sunday and were able to get a table pretty quickly. The place filled up fast and was full by the time we left. The dining area is crammed with tables. With most of them occupied, the noise level was just insane. There’s lots of food in the buffet to sample, most of them Asian. The food was hit or miss. Some were flavorful and appetizing, others were barely edible. Freshness is hit or miss too. And then there was the hoarding of in-demand dishes, such giant crabs, that triggered an uproar that I thought would turn ugly. My travel companions and I did get our fill and paid $16 each. Not bad but I felt I’ve had better buffets elsewhere.

Recently been here 6/18/17 "FATHERS DAY " this place hasnt changed at all..minus 10. unsanitary is the word here..... avoid this place like the plaque.......anyone else saying its great or anything else to that extreme is the workers..fearing their job... or non educated people that dont know any better or use ro going to these places how to cook and use to substandard places..... The food.temperatures here say it all.!!!!.....the owner here works the rib bbq grille acting like an employee...to avoid anyone saying anything to him.. when approached with these issues he just looks at you and dont care to improve whats wrong. not good.......

Food was mediocre. On par if not worse than the buffet in Drexel Hill thats 20pct cheaper. Should at least include build your own hibachi plate at this price. I dont expect top botch sushi at a place like this, but the sushi here was inedible. Dining room was chaos. There were plent of employees, but for some reason everyone was corralled into half the dining area. We were seated, went to the buffet, and upon returning to our table another party had been seated there. I stood at the hostess stand holding my plate of food for 5 min while the staff tried to find a place for us (meanwhile the entire other half of the dining room is empty).

The prices were okay, I guess. But they didnt tell us the cost for everything until we received our bill. 44+ for two adults and one child, not including tax or tip and we charged almost 3 dollars person for fountain drinks (not sure if refills are extra because we didnt get one). The reason I give this a 1 is because the food has made us all sick for the past day and a half. The same night we left it has been a constant trip to the bathroom.. grrr. Not to mention there was no employee diversity. The two waiters I spoke to said they did not speak English and the manager was rude. Never going to this place again.

I travel all over the country as a tour bus driver. Often when I get to a new area the first thing I do is scout around for a chinese buffet. Lots a vegetables and other dishes for a reasonable price. Ruby Buffet is no doubt one of my favorite places! Theyre in Philly and Cherry Hill NJ. As for service theres not much to it. Get seated, grab a plate and get what you want to eat. I am suspect of these extremely harsh criticisms. Sounds like personal issues to me. One of the best signs of a good restaurant is how busy they are. Throughout the day Ruby Buffet is ALWAYS packed!

After passing this place a hundred times over 10 years I finally went for the first time with five friends a few weeks ago. For about $15 you get access to a massie amount of food. Most of the food isnt great. Its the equivalent of going to a corner Asian takeout place and being allowed to eat as much of whatever you want on the menu for a flat price. It just so happens that I like mediocre Asian takeout, so I was like a kid in a candy store here. The dessert section is also kind of nice, and theres unlimited sushi as well.

I have been coming to Ruby Buffet for years I really enjoy there food but the one thing that I dont like is how they bring out there crab legs on Sundays. Its totally ridiculous why do people have to fight over crab legs because you bring enough out for one person. You guys make enough money to do better than that .Then sometimes you bring them out cold and bad SMH! !! You need to get better because you are going to lose a lot of customers. They bring them out every 20 minutes and people are getting very frustrated!!

THEY HAVE ROACHES. The pictures are screenshots of a video I took after a roach almost crawled on my shoulder. They are inside the walls and that hole had an entire nest. I told them and they gave this confused look and said they have an exterminator once a week. I showed them the video and they gave me $5 off a $35 bill and then demanded I delete the video. Basically harassed me. Asking several times if my friend had pictures as well. I faked deleting the video just to get them off my back. Dont go there.
