Were out of towners visiting family and have only been once so take this review with a grain of salt. The atmosphere was comfy with a down home kinda vibe. When I saw a 20oz. NY strip with fixins for $16 I was incredulous. I like my steaks seared and rare. They got the rare part right but the searing made me think, "I remember when I got my first grill." Theres a big difference between a pleasant char and a "holy smokes that steak just caught on fire!" Mine was the latter. My wifes was equally terrible. I cant let a steak go to waste so I begrudgingly stomached mine but my wife couldnt take it anymore after 1/4 of hers. We took it home but neither of us were up for the challenge. The rest of the family was disappointed that they were completely out of clams. I wish I had gotten the ribs. The half rack looked about the size of a full rack at other places. I didnt understand how a pub could charge $28 for a full rack, which is why I went with the strip, until I saw a family members half rack. They get you on the drinks. No free refills and its $2.50 per small plastic cup. It wasnt until the bill came out that I understood why the waitress wasnt asking if we wanted refills on our empty glasses. I dunno, we may try it again on a future trip but Ill definitely be going for the ribs instead of the NY charcoal.

Food is mediocre.. theyre 20 ounce T-Bone is more like a 12 ounce T-Bone at best. They use hardly any seasoning to give the food any kind of flavor. Yes their prices are somewhat of a good value but you get what you pay for. If you order the lobster and two dozen clams be prepared to chew and chew and chew and chew. Service is just okay..nothing to write home about. Those people who rate this restaurant four and five stars dont get out much. I think itd be in thier best interest to find another chef. You can get the same value at Longhorn Steakhouse and at least theyll throw some Lawrys on it for you.

Lunch & dinner menu consists of a steak or fish with a baked potato. No salad bar, vegetable, bread or anything else for prices of $17.00 - $25.00. Also, soda drinks are served at dinner in small plastic cups for $2.50 with mostly ice. One person who had a salty meal in my party asked for 2 refills, again, mostly ice, and his drink tab was $7.50 for the 3 sodas consisting mainly of ice. For those prices I will go to a place which has either a salad bar or offers a vegetable and serves drinks in glasses with a free refill!

My Husbend and I have been going to Pub517 for years a least 2 times a month our waitress is Linda she is out standing, she knows what we drink and order. if not for the food we would go just to see linda. The lobster bisque is the best with lots of lobster in it, The king crab legs are wonderfull the only thing i noticed is that the portion seems smaller in the last few month. but still deicious. The fish and clams are very fresh. I love going there.

Everything was good. Clams excellent. Lobster was good. Baked potato slightly under done. No frills is true. This pub is more comfy than the 199, prob due to the smaller size and not cafeteria like. We had good meal. 2 beers 2 coffees and 2 dinners = $58.95 we dont like to spend unless it is worth it.... We left satisfied. We would go again. A steak and lobster plate option would be nice on the menu... Thanks to Linda.... She was a good server.

The food was very good and very reasonable. Drinks do come in plastic cups but the food serving is large. They dont accept credit cards so bring CASH. They have two dining areas, one with sports tv and the other with big gaming heads. We opted for the gaming heads since we dont watch sports on tv. The view is very lovely from the window, ranch and fields.

Outstanding service and delicious food. We had a party of 20, which turned out to be a party of 26 and the staff were happy to accommodate us. It was a busy night and even so, everyones food came out exactly as ordered and our 2 servers were fantastic. A huge thanks for making my husbands 50th birthday an enjoyable event.

Wife and I went here when we first moved to Green Twp. No real complaints except they dont take credit cards. Maybe because were of the debit/credit generation we find this to be a no-no, but other than that the restaurant was fine. Decent food, nice selection, friendly service, plenty of parking and a good location.

Just down the road from where I live so you cant beat the location. Specialty is clams and they are a pretty good value. Otherwise just OK pub food. Draft beer comes in a plastic cup. Friday night after work are busy but the crowd thins pretty early.

CASH ONLY, Not as busy as Howard Blvd. location, Can usually take a large group by calling ahead. Lobster, crabs, clams, steaks, etc. Good value for the seafood, rustic atmosphere. We had a group of 20 on a Wed. night, great service that night.

The Steaks are horrible! They dont give free refills like every other restaurants do! The price we paid for the food we got was way to high! The waitress was friendly so thats why i gave one star!

Great food at a great price. You cant beat the whole lobster, baked potato and 2 dozen clams for $30. Its a sports bar so if youre looking for a quiet dinner place, this isnt it.

Need to lose some of the bartenders.... If they dont like you for whatever reason theyll pass u by and serve someone else and all their friends first... Food is good value.
