We had the worst experience ever in a Resturant. The waitress was horrific. She was rude and insulting. She had to much of her own opinion to offer. She made my daughter cry because she said that she was ordering too much food. She ordered a cup of soup and a sandwich, even if the waitress thought the portion was to big she could have been more kind with her opinion . We were visiting on a school trip and the next day at school some of the kids were talking about their experience there and how awfully rude the waitress was to them too telling them two slices of pizza was too much and that she would be bringing them one slice. In a world where girls have issues with self image we dont need a waitress to make it worse or them making them feel like they have a problem. Some people just need to shut their mouth and keep their opinions to them selves. Bottom line of you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything. Just saying!!! We will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know going to that area of Philly to stay away too.would be bringing them one. In a world

BY FAR THE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD Went here with my friend, waitress was unbelievably rude!! We ordered a take out order and the waitress told us to take a seat while we wait. So we sat down. A minute later a extremely rude waitress came over and said "if you ordered for take out, that means you take out. Not sit down" We told her that the other waitress told us we could take a seat and she began to raise her voice stating this was private sitting and we could not sit down. We were embarrassed of this scene. People began to look over at our table. The nice waitress came over assuring us it was okay to sit, so we once again took our seats. The rude waitress then came over even more enraged and yelled that we get up. My friends and I just acted cool about it, but this was definitely a bizarre and awkward experience. Still not sure what we did to make this waitress treat us to poorly, but none of this was worth it because the food was also terrible!

I just had to comment. I was heading out of town Last night hungry. I was heading home to NJ to shovel out my driveway when I spotted the sign Slices" I realized I hadnt eaten since noon. So yes I was hungry. I ordered 2 slices and a drink to go. When I got in my car and open up the box.. I was amazed. The slice was huge and tasted great. and to top it off no runoff for the slice as I was driving. I just had to let you know. From now on when I am in Phil.. I am stopping in for a slice.. I use to love Philly for the pretzels on the street corners.. But they took that away form me.. But they cant take away my PIZZA> Thanks Guys for making my late night 2 hour drive home enjoyable.. Decent food, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service ranges from mediocre at best to extremely bad. After buying from this place almost weekly and putting up with the poor service time and time again, I had an awful experience recently. I even decided to go back and speak to them about it and reminded them who I was and that we buy from them weekly. The response I got back was so rude that I will never return. I could tell many many stories but it is pointless to disclose the details. Long story short, I hope someone from the place reads this and takes note to do something differently before the unknowing tourists are the only customer base left.

We were visiting Philadelphia from Texas and have a family of 8. Walking in we thought no way that there would be room for us but the staff put together two tables right in front. Ill agree that the staff was not super friendly at first (as we were taking a while to make our decision) but a little small talk and they really opened up and it felt like your wonderful aunt who, can cook authentic great tasting food! The pizza was amazing! Truly a gem in downtown. We visited here 3 times during our 3 day stay and it was our favorite among all the places we ate. Oh yeah....and the price....awesome! Nothing but fond memories from this TEXAS family!

Came here a few years ago and like it. Came to Philly for the weekend thought Id check it.put again. Has gotten worseat. Sat the table 10 minutes while the 2 old waitresses sat and talked. I went to the counter and the grouchie lady tells me to sit and wait. I told her the waitresses were just sitting and talking she said, "just wait ". Then a slow moving waitress gets up and goes to the table behind me and take their order. We left. I will never go back to this place... servicereally sucks. Need to hire faster, younger people .

I WILL NEVER EAT AT TWOS PLACE AGAIN!!!The waitress was VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Not one one occasion. ..but two different occasions. The first time we thought it was just.because.she.was overwhelmed because the place was full. On the second occasion there was only one other table occupied and her deminor, tone, and speech to us was rude and unwelcoming. We got up and left. Me and my family are visiting for a family reunion. We will not be giving them our business anymore. I Do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EAT!

Went to grab a slice on my way home and the rude old biddie with the faux red hair slammed my change on the counter after I handed her the money and when I asked if that was what she usually does her response was "it depends" and I said "on who it is I guess, I see" which is unfortunate because that shop is in a high traffic area and if she doesnt enjoy people, or people different from herself she ought to sit her rude ass down. Horrible horrible attitude. Wont be going back and I live in Phialdephia.

Great "real" atmosphere, not put on or contrived. Excellent menu and very good prices, especially for Historic District Philly. NO LINES to wait in and only a couple of doors down from the Betsy Ross house. I had the "Zorba the Great" pizza, excellent flavor, the crust was to die for. My aunt had the Gyro & my uncle the cheese steak. Since they were visiting from Seattle we had to try cheese steaks several times and Old Citys was the best. Ill go there everytime I take visitors downtown.

If youre of a different race, youll have a problem getting a seat. Me and 5 friends came in at 10 (they close at 11 by the way) and was refuse service at first. Then when I looked up their hours and confronted her about it. So she said we couldnt eat in, then when we tried to order pizza the chief said we only had 3 slices. Mind you it only takes about 15-20 mins. to make a cheese pizza so we wouldve have been out of there by 10:35 enough time for them to clean up and go home on time.
