Weve been to this place many times over the past several years. Its convenient, not really much option to get a quick meal in the area especially with small kids. Weve always tolerated the sub-par food, and the fact that you have to pick through plates and soup spoons at the salad bar because theyre mostly dirty. Also, the owners smell terrible from body odor. Ive seen on a few occasions the owners son (Marko?) battling with customers and I just figured maybe the customers were the problem... after all, any sensible business owner wouldnt argue with a customer in the dining room in front of other customers. Well today I had my unprovoked experience with him. My 10 year old son ordered grilled chicken that also came with the salad bar for $11.95. He didnt want (or visit) the salad bar. The chicken came out and it smelled bad. We told the waitress and she agreed, and apologized several times and tried to make it right. We didnt want another dish so she said shed take it off the bill. At the end of our meal, she came to the table and asked if my son used the salad bar because the owner wanted us to pay $7.95 for the salad bar. We told her no, and she left (clearly he didnt use salad bar, they werent any salad bar plates on our table). She came back unnerved because the owner threatened her that he was going to check the cameras and if he found that my 10 year son did in fact go to the salad bar, it was going to be deducted from her pay. This fat Greek baby-Louie looking creep actually threatens the waitresses? What a slime. Bad enough he stinks, but hes a bully too. I guess we didnt mind paying for the salad bar if my son did in fact use it, but it would be good business sense to just take the whole $11.95 off the bill regardless... to show some remorse for almost giving my kid food poisoning (bad chicken is dangerous). Instead he wanted whatever he could get from us... even if he had to force the waitress to pay for it. If you plan to go to this restaurant be prepared to deal with dirty dishes, smelly owners, and miserable staff. And if youre lucky enough to sit in the large room with the fireplace, you get to enjoy the stink of chemicals from the bathroom. We always tried to sit in the bar-counter area for that reason. A few other points. 1) There is very poor cell signal at this place. Not their fault, but the "free WiFi" never works. Theres no signal coverage anywhere in the dining area. 2) Someone at the restaurant mentioned they had a problem with the food when they lost power, and its possible not everything was discarded when it was supposed to be. 3) The staff is miserable, especially the stone-cold faces on the hostesses/cashiers. 4) The food is consistently poor. Chicken is greasy (you have to dry it with napkins), for example. Marko, I hope youre reading this and you learn to treat your employees and customers better. You are not entitled to be successful, you have to earn that. Start with taking a bath and USE DEORDORANT, straighten out your attitude and treat people with respect, and wash the dishes better. Best of luck to you. Well continue to tell the story of what happened today and Im sure it will hit you in the wallet at some point. Hopefully enough to change your attitude and poor business practice. By the way, these guys also own the Eagle Diner in Warminster PA.

Stay away from the Eagle Diner. Worst dining experience of my life. The service was terrible and our order was wrong. We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers medium well. One came out with BBQ sauce that we didn’t order and both burgers were red in the middle. Not even close to medium well. I decided to try and eat my burger since our food took close to 30 minutes to come out. It got to the point where the burger was so red in the middle I could stomach it and stopped eating. I asked the waiter to take the charge off the menu. He talked to the ‘manager’ and he refused. So I spoke to the ‘manager’ who came out in a dirty apron…must have been the one to undercook our burgers. He refused to take the charge for one of the burgers off the bill. I told him both were undercooked and I was just asking for him to take the price of one of them off the bill. He refused again. He tried to tell me I ordered the burger with BBQ sauce and the waiter had written medium down for both burgers. So I asked him if he expected me to pay for his employees mistake. He told (3 times) to get the f*** out of here. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

I live in New Hope and I only eat breakfast (its hard to screw up scrambled eggs), a sandwich (not the tuna, its flavorless) or the salad bar (the homemade soups are good) here, ever! The service is okay, the atmosphere is old and tired. I go here often for a late breakfast/early lunch with visiting friends and tell them NEVER to order anything but breakfast, a sandwich or the salad bar but sometimes they dont listen and then they complain that the food is horrible! I warned them! The food at Giuseppes (almost right next door!) is MUCH better AND cheaper! To the unfortunate souls who actually LIKE the food here: Run to your doctor now! There is something wrong with your tastebuds! Update: I went here the other day for salad and the waiter (he was new) was very good. I saw another waiter there I hadnt seen before and observed that he also was very good. Whoever hired these guys should be commended.

My wife and I are here from Illinois and staying at the Rodeway Inn down the road and wanted something close by. We were seated quickly and our drink order was quickly taken and brought back. The menu really was overwhelmingly large and felt like too much. My wife ordered the breakfast burger with fries and I ordered the broiled seafood combo with mashed potatoes and gravy. While my wife was content with her food, my food needed seasoning across the board. Even the dipping butter, which Im pretty sure had no seasoning to it. The scallops were just a hair past perfectly cooked and the crab cake was about half of the meal, which I didnt eat as I was not a fan of it. The waitress was great, atmosphere was welcoming, and service was good. Will likely be trying some other items at least once more, but wasnt horribly impressed by our first experience.

¡PESIMO!

The death of a diner. Lets have a moment of silence. We have been going to the diner for years, when it was the Eagle diner. We loved the food and the cheese bread they have. We went back yesterday and were beyond disappointed! Eugene, our waiter was great. The cheese bread is still wonderful. Everything else was beyond awful. The scampi was a bland faintly lemon sauce. The chicken marsala was an epic fail. There should never be tomato sauce in a marsala recipe. Yuck. The roast beef sandwich was dry and void of flavor. I could go on about the other meals; however, I think youve got the point by now.
