on 7/7/13 at about 6:15pm my family and I went to the Mt. Pocono Pizza Hut to have dinner there. When we arrived there were two couples waiting ahead of us to be seated. There were a lot of tables available, yet the two couples had been waiting for 15 and 30 minutes, respectively. The dine-in area is divided in two. One entire side did have a few tables available and the other side was completely EMPTY! There was only ONE (1) server, ONE (1) young man at the desk, TWO (2) people preparing food and TWO (2) delivery people. The phone was ringing off the hook! The poor girl who was serving looked frazzled and had was making NO EYE CONTACT with us whatsoever, nor did she attempt to let us know how long the wait would be. One couple ahead of us finally placed a take out order and said when they got it they would just find their own seat and sit to eat. They were not told how long the wait would be for their food however. I have found out that the general manager had recently been fired and no replacement had been found for him. It was a holiday weekend...why was the district/regional manager not present to help them out or to schedule more people to work. Not only was it a holiday weekend but it was a RACE weekend. There was a formula one race at the Pocono Raceway. This always generates a lot of traffic in our area. After 20 minutes waiting ourselves we walked out. The first couple still had not been seated and the 2nd couple still had not received their food. IS THIS ANYWAY TO RUN A BUSINESS? That district/regional manager needs to be fired as well!

This place is a disgrace to the franchise. We walk in on a Sunday night and the "hostess or cashier girl" is dressed like a slob. Ripped dirty hoodie, belly hanging out, ripped dirty jeans, hair unkempt and while there is literally 8 people working behind the counter the hostess tells us there is no dine in because they dont have a server. Ummm really? The dirty girl working the counter can get drinks but is refusing to serve tables. The young man whos making the pizzas offers to bring our food to the table while the unkempt hostess/cashier proceeds to sit on her phone. There is a line of customers being told they cant dine in because theres no server. Pathetic. The hostess/cashier who looks like trash and acts like trash because she was rude and ignorant about the situation should be fired. You should not be allowed to work in a food establishment looking like you just crawled out of the gutter and then be too lazy to offer to serve pizza, which is an easy thing to do, and then play with your phone instead of taking our order and then be rude to the customers because were interrupting your phone time. Coodos to the young man who brought us our drinks and food. His name is Aiden. He was great. He should get a bonus for being so calm and cordial under the circumstances. When we got stale breadsticks and raw chicken wings he refunded our money. Sam was the rude dirty girl. Hey pizza Hut....presentation and customer service is key, fire her bc we werent the only customers offended by her behavior.

WORST F****** SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE! My mind is still blown from how bad the service was. I ordered my pizza online and waited about 10 minutes after the estimated wait time to call the restaurant. I literally called 11 times and no one picked up the phone. After waiting another 40 minutes I decided to go to the restaurant. When we get to the restaurant we asked to speak with someone who deals with complaints and we spoke to Samantha who said she was the manager. Explained the situation and her response was "We only have one driver and we didnt receive any calls, Ill have to talk to the General Manager about that." Not an apology, no sympathy, nothing, SHE DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT ME WHILE SHE WAS TALKING TO ME!. By that time we had waited an hour more than the estimated time that was given to us online. We asked how long our pizza had been sitting out and they told us about an HOUR! So we asked for a fresh one.While sitting there waiting for our pizza we noticed Samantha talking about us and complaining to her co workers...as a manager that is UNACCEPTABLE! We also noticed another employee that Samantha was talking to talking on his cell phone and taking his time walking back and forth when all he had to do was cut the pizza so we can leave. We waited probably a total of 2 and a half hours before we finally got a fresh pizza that we had to go pick up and only $4.00 off our bill. I never write reviews its just not my thing but I couldnt let this go unnoticed.

It is almost inconceivable, just how atrociously unprepared the waiting and kitchen staff seemed for providing service at my visit. Only about half the restaurant was full, which was apparently the busiest night in this Pizza Huts lifetime, and the staff managed to run out of cups, pizza platters, and menus. Not only were the forks so weak that they snapped in my hands out of frustration, but the knives were also far too dull to scratch "pizza but sucks" in my table. After a grueling 1 hr 30 wait between placing my order and receiving my food, even the blindingly intense appetite built up through my visit could not distract me from the piss poor quality food I ended up being served. It would be difficult to differentiate between pizza hut pizzas and the boxes in which they are delivered - a strong essence of cardboard emerges either way. It was almost humorous how sarcastic, cynical, and downright disgruntled my waitress was, and she gave me a glade every time I asked for another free refill of mountain dew. Overall, I cant say Id ever return to this Pizza hut in my life - it may have spoiled pizza for me in my lifetime. To anyone in the area hoping for a quaint dinner with the family, id sooner recommend the roadkill adorning the parking lot than any food served at this establishment.

I order from this Pizza Hut because its the closest location. I have had quite a few awful experiences with this particular Pizza Hut. 1. I called for delivery and when my food came it had a long hair in it, when I called to let them know the female manager gets on the phone and says What color was the hair, when I told her blonde she says I dont have any blondes here, I dont know what you want, so I hang up and throw the food away. 2. Delivery was going to take over an hour so I called back and said I would have someone pick it up, I informed the employee to please not credit me the delivery charge that I would just pay it because there system will put 2 holds on my credit card and I didnt have enough money on my card for two holds. So they do it anyway and instead of the female manager giving me my pizza she wanted me to pay a third time because she kept running my card till there was no money available. This very manager then starts yelling at me because the girl I first spoke to was "new". So I told her educate her employees not me. So they got almost $50 for a $31 order and I got NOTHING. No pizza because I didnt have enough for them to charge my card again. Now I have to wait 7-10 business days for the money to be released.
