First time we went, there were just a few other people. the server was attentive and nice, and the food was great. We were happy to find a great place close to home. So we went second time. Completely different story. The place was packed with the line of people by the door. The hostess looked frantic, but finally noticed us and took our name. We decided to wait for a table inside. In about 5 minutes another couple came in, dressed fancier than us (we just had jeans and hoodies on). They were greeted by the same hostess with a lot more enthusiasm and signed in too. Another 10 minutes and 2 other parties behind us. So the hostess comes out and calls for a group of 4 that were behind us. We think, ok different table demands. But then she comes back to get the couple that came after us and takes them to their table. After waiting for 15 more minutes another party got seated before us. I tried getting the attention of the lady, but she said she was busy and will be back and walked away. at that point we left. cant think of any reason except we didnt look nice enough to be treated better. 3 stars for good food on the first try. Will never be back

Went here for a party. They did not know how to handle a large group and should never have agreed to book the party. The wait staff barely came around and when they did they rarely came back with drinks. They looked stressed the whole time. They did not keep track of what table ordered what. Food was served by dish not by table, as a result one table was eating at different times. The food wasnt even very good. The chicken was decent, but small and mostly breading. The pasta was inedible. The portion size was tiny. It might be a good place to go out to eat but do not book a large party here.

The lighting is a bit much, however that doesnt distract from the excellent food I had there. I have eaten there several times now and have tried a variety , so far the beans and greens with shrimp is my favorite. If you get a chance to have lunch or dinner there take it! Their service is wonderful, and the place is homey.

I have been to Gia Visto several times. Always good food and service. The dining room is cozy, I love the atmosphere. My grand daughter attended a cooking class and brought food home. I have ordered a pan of spinach and beans for the holidays for a side dish!!

Great relaxing atmosphere, polite staff, attentive. It is very relaxing to enjoy lunch with a friend. I recommend the penne pasta with chicken and vodka sauce. Definitely the best place east of Pittsburgh to get good Italian food at a fair price. :-)

Had the chicken marsala and it was excellent. The raspberry ice tea was wonderful. My son has a diary allergy and it was very refreshing for him to have several choices. He ate every last bite. Thank you for a great experience.

a comfortable, welcoming restaurant. i had an excellent penne w/ chicken, tomato, and spinach. my boyfriend really enjoyed his bacon and mushroom pizza - and it was so big, we ended up taking half of it home with us!

My husband and I were in the area and went here based on all the great reviews. The service was horrible. The food was okay. Maybe we hit it at an off day but we will not be back and not recommend it.

Lamb Shoulder Bolognese was awesome, I get it almost every time! Ricotta Gnocchi and Beans and greens were also very good. Have been here several times and have never been disapointed!
