Originally I gave a 3 star rating. The reason, the food was average at best. It was a pleasant dining experience and the owners were friendly and fun. However when I posted my rating, the owner looked me up and contacted me online assuming the reason for my rating, which was no where near the real reason. When I didnt reply after 2 minutes she tried to call me through the app. Totally inappropriate. And a loss of stars. Ill never enter the establishment again. Some advice. Use fresh beef for your "gourmet" burgers. Not previously frozen, questionable origin Walmart beef. That will at least raise them from average to good. Edited again... I just made sure of this. The owner went to the trouble of looking me up on Facebook to message me. Insecure much?

On 1/16/15 my daughter was born, and all my other half could think about was food. The nurses told me about a diner across the st. I got there as they were closing, but they let me in. Got the Italian Sub for her. They were so understanding and gracious. Went back the next morning and got a short stack with eggs and bacon. Both meals were great ! When I come and visit from central Cal. I will be stopping by Allen Street Diner...

We were at the lake Chautauqua rest area and were looking for a place to have breakfast. We just happened to chose this one, turned out, great choice. We had the french toast and eggs and home fries. Loved it. Plus great service, an elderly couple who really like serving food! Great place for a homely breakfast!

Stopped at this pleasant little diner for lunch on our way back home to Wisconsin from the Finger Lakes. The owners were super nice and helpful! Made you feel right at home. Food was excellent! Well definitely stop the next time were heading that way!
