Yay !!!! Glad to see this move closer than the Ardmore location. Lunch is a STUPID good deal. $12 for your choice of THREE entrees including lamb, beef (this is really Pakistani/Indian) chicken, shrimp and a number of vegetarian options. EXCELLENT service and food. This is a GREAT addition to the neighborhood. We went to the weekend buffet today. There were probably a half dozen chicken dishes (including Tandoori and Tikka Masala) a nice lamb dish, fish Vindaloo, Saag Paneer (homemade cheese) as well as a potato dish and a sweet dessert carrot rice. The manager gave us hot naan as soon as we sat down, and later dropped off some tempura veggies (broccoli, cauliflower and potatoes.) The place started filling up around 12:30 - lots of South Asians coming in with large families. They kept the food well-replenished and water glasses full. Ive always been a fan, but its good to know the buffet is an option. Glinus, the charming manager, said theyd be rotating the dishes so regulars wont get bored. I really wish the place luck. He said biz has been a little slow, but they are starting to advertise in local media. They really are artisans at seasonings. Glad to have them so close.

This is my new favorite Indian Restaurant - I have never written a review before but they deserve it! I absolutely love spicy food but no matter how many restaurants I have been too and asked for extra spicy dishes, I have never been satisfied. When my Chicken Vindaloo first came out it was very flavorful as most are, but not spicy. The waiter made sure to ask what I thought of it and when I said not spicy he offered to take it back and make it a true Indian spicy - they tested me to make sure I could handle it but actually followed up! When he brought it back, the dish was full again and SPICY, not just some extra peppers thrown in and mixed around. I would say one bite was hot but not bad but it definitely built up as I ate more, I could feel some sweat. Both the waiter and owner came by the table and were very friendly to talk to.

So, I visited here today. As far as Indian Cuisine goes, this is among the best. Take it from me. The Merion lunch special (11 - 3, everyday) is amazing. Itll knock your socks off! Two entrees, naan, and rice for $12! Or, you can do 1 entree, salad, naan, and rice for $8. Either way, you get your moneys worth! The coconut curry chicken was a knockout and the palak paneer was flavorful and done right. The atmosphere is very cafe like and cozy. The staff is friendly and will treat you like family. A must do if you love Indian food and you are visiting or live in Philly.

This was our first visit, and the food was great. Saffron is usually very good, but I think the food here is better (at least for this first try). Sometimes Saffron is heavy-handed with the cream in their dishes, and their paneer varies in its freshness. The dishes at Kabob and Grill were really flavorful but not loaded down with cream. The waiters were very attentive, ambiance nice and quiet, portions good size, and prices reasonable. If I were in the mood for Indian again, Id definitely come back here before going to Saffron (sorry Saffron, no offense!)

I had chicken makhini and baigan bharta and thoroughly loved them. The vindaloo was excellent but I expected a bigger portion. I see other reviews that say the servers were not polite but everyone I saw was very friendly, and our own server (forgot name, sorry) was exceptional (worth the 25% tip!). I also like how convenient it is to my home. Ive eaten here before and Ill be back!

Tried it for the first time tonight after a friend highly recommended it. Never even noticed it before and I am a Hymies regular, which is just a couple doors down. I absolutely loved every dish! Garlic naan, Chana Masala and Palek Paneer were perfect. Got everything extra mild and they were happy to accommodate us. Better than Saffron in my opinion.

Got a different chicken curry than ordered which had an aluminium foil piece in it which i saw during the end of the meal, the replacement for naan to roti cost us additional $2 each for a lunch item and when we asked to check this, server mentioned that it was dinner portion. Not going again. better places to try nearby - saffron, kabobeesh

Good food. Id probably give this place 4 stars if it werent for one annoying thing, the auto 18% tip charge. For people who dont know what that is, they auto-charge certin ethnicities without prior agreement. Very annoying and a good enough reason for me to never dine in this place again. I may order for pick up though.

This is now my go-to Indian in the suburbs. Unlike many others, they dont add too much cream, so you get dishes that taste quite authentic. They have a tandoor, so breads and tikkas are slightly charred, like they should be. They are fast to make food and reasonably priced.

Flavourful food. Though a little pricy worth the taste. The lamb here is very good, deserts were really good. The chilli garlic naan and lamb is a good combination. The mango lassi is very thick and rich. Would definitely revisit when around the place.

Went with friends for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed! Indian food isnt my "go to" good, but I LOVED this place and it converted me. Going back next weekend for a birthday celebration! Highly recommend.

Love Kabob! Their old Ardmore location was very close to us, so it was great for takeout. The portions are good for the price. My go-to meal is the chicken makhni and garlic naan. Their vegetarian dishes are also excellent!

The food at Kabob and Grill is really excellent -- perfectly cooked and spiced. We entertained 6 people at our home with take-out, and it was very successful. Staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating.

Best Indian food in Philadelphia. Although it can weirdly be a bit of a dead spot for cellphone service. They accept credit cards but have a significant cash discount. Id recommend bringing cash.

Definitely a Go-To spot for dinner. Had an amazing grilled lamb on vine dish. I forget the exact name. If you get it, order it medium rare b/c its the juiciest way to prep the dish.

I miss the E County Line location, but the food is worth the little extra drive.
