Its so sad that their attitude and demeanor can ruin such a nice little restaurant... the food is good but the people at the front counter are rude and disrespectful. We brought in our handicap father and sat him down. The minute the rest of the family walked in they immediately said "we are closed" without hesitation. Why wouldnt you tell us something as we were coming in with our handicap father who cant even walk by himself?? Online it says they are open until 9:30 on Sundays but we were kicked out at 8.47pm saying they were closed. When I mentioned that online timing says 9:30 the man turning off the open sign says "no" and walks away... RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL people, we felt DISCRIMINATED against especially when there were others who walked in right before us and they were taking their orders. Thats an easy 100 dollars we would have dropped considering there were 8 of us. They need better management and customer service training.

First time to this restaurant and Im never setting my foot into this restaurant again. We were craving for Indian food after a long shopping day and mannnn....their panneer tikka masala was so bad, you could feel the tomato taste, it wasnt cooked properly and definitely a lot of taste was missing that day, we were still ok, thought it was one odd day probably. Ordered their Veg Briyani, quantity was good enough but the taste was very moderate. And then comes the surprise, these guys are so cheap that they charge for the extra cup of Raita, the raita quantity was so less for a plateful of briyani and I have never seen anyone charging extra $ for Raita ever. When you dont get what you deserve for the bill paid, i really get pissed off...This is one such place that is tasteless & cheap (behavior wise) and just not worth it !!!!!

I had extremely bad experience with this restaurant people two times. FIRST time when I went to buy pastries, the guy taking the order didnt understand the order details though I told him to put in order when I explained him he was just staring at me as if he is not understanding when I tried to arrange it myself the owner started yelling at me we dont do decoration n put pastries in particular order and made me feel embarrassed in front of rest of the customers instead the guy taking the order throwed the pastry right in front of me in trash bin showing aggressiveness and bad attitude Big NO NO BAD CUSTOMER HANDLING.. The owner made me stand for while to even do transaction and asked me how many pastries I have ordered instead of asking his staff ignoring his staff rude behavior.Never go there

It was expensive for the portion sizes. We spent about $13 on the goat which came in a very small plastic container. A lot of sauce not very much meat with many bones. I will say it was delicious, the flavor was good. They do not wait on tables. You have to go grab all your own items such as glasses, silverware, and water pitchers which was in the fridge but room temperature. Also Ive never heard of a place where the main meal doesnt come with rice, you purchase it separately. Very odd. It was cheap to add on but thats not the point. If your spending over $10, rice should just come included. Mango Lassi was also good but expensive for a small glass. Overall, it was tasty but I know of better places for quality Indian cuisine for decent prices and great portions. Will not go back.

Ordered two Thalis. One veg and other was non veg. As quantity wise i can say it was more than enough for one person per Thali. Quantity: 5 star. Quality: combining the feedback provided by my wife and mine goes down to 1 star. First off: they did not ask for the spicy level, when food was served it was super spicy. I can ear spicy but not my wife. She had non veg thali and there were very few chicken pieces and more potato chunks with whole loads of spices. My wife could not is even 1/3 of the food and most of it went to gutter. I ate mine but the taste were not great when it comes down to paneer and squash. Only positive that thali was lentils and rice which i liked. I would recommend the owner and people up there to want about the spicy level in the food before serving.

We ordered Gobi Manchurian and it was too salty, soggy and not worth the price. When we complained about this to the cashier/owner, He was not ready to accept that the dish was not good. Instead, he started explaining that the fault was with the sauce which they used and also he boasted that it was the popular dish of that place! And on top of this, he started showing the pictures of the sauce brand on his phone used for the dish!! Come on, who wants to see all that and Its not our problem. I dont recommend this place for any kind of food except for pastries.

There many places better than this in Lawrenceville. First off I find the owner or the person who was taking order was bit rude. I came in started to order but he stopped me and took someone elses order. Quality of food wasnt great either. I ordered Dosa but to my surprise coconut chutney was more of a water than chutney. Dosa tasted ok nothing so great about it. Very poor service and the price for the food you pay is not worth it.

Travelling to Philadelphia from India via Dallas, I, alongwith my wife just walked into Indian Hut, not really expecting much, but I was extremely happy with the excellent kadhai vegetables, daal tadka and choley bhature which I got to relish. Quiet ambience and quick service added to my experience. The range of desserts capped it all. Would unhesitatingly recommend Indian Hut to all who choose to enjoy authentic Indian food.

I used to like this place, but now I dont. Not sure if the chefs changed - but the food is not good at all. I feel like I could get the same quality from a frozen meal. Nothing tastes fresh. The Sambar for the Dosa tasted like the dumped some spices into boiling water, and served it. They give a lot of push back if you have issues. Im sad to say, I do not recommend it.

Tried the non veg lunch special with chicken vindaloo and 2 veggie sides + rice, naan and small desert. Its priced well and the food tastes fresh and nicely spiced. The veggies are not overdone, the rice is fresh and fluffy. Service was good. The naan also tastes fresh. Took 1 star away because the lunch special menu is limited to 2 platters (veg & non veg).

They make some of the menu items really tasty like paneer makhani but others like dosa suck. The quantity is super low for the price they charge. Even rice/naan are not included with the meals. The owner/manager is rude and not really open to any feedback. I live very close to this place and end up ordering from this place often. I wish i had more choices.

I ordered lunch thali from here. Good food, reasonably priced and quick service. Honest and upfront staff - its has a downmarket (non-fancy) look and feel - but if u are interested in tasteful and good quality food at an affordable price - this is the place to go.i could have give 5 stars - but had to factor the overall look and feel of the place as well.
