All told, the food here is good. We went in the evening on Sunday (I believe) and the place was fairly empty; we ordered a lamb wrap and chicken tikka. The lab wrap was pretty darn good, might order that or similar again. The chicken tikka tasted .. off. Not bad, just too tomato-ey. It might be because Zaiqa isnt strictly north Indian, but Ive eaten at other venues and, in general, the chicken tikka has a similar taste profile. Granted, my review is based on a fairly slim selection of the menu offerings, but Zaiqa hasnt become my go-to place for Indian cuisine (its not even my backup, as of the time of this reviews writing). The one thing that Zaiqa has going for it that my preferred places dont is that it delivers, which makes all the difference when it comes to a lazy afternoon when my fiancee and I crave Indian. In short, is the food phenomenal? I certainly dont think so. Will I order from here again? Most likely, if only to a great degree because theyll deliver.

We were in the area, looking for dinner, and stumbled upon this place. How lucky for us! We ordered several different dishes (lamb gyros, chicken kababs, another chicken dish, palak paneer, and chana masala, topped off with some Naan). Everything was really wonderful. Nice flavors, and good use of spice. The lamb gyros was nothing like we had ever had before - it was very good and flavorful. Spicy thousand island taste to it. We are definitely going to be back here again, as the food was very good, the service was very good, and overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. Its a little strip mall restaurant, so it lacks any decorative charm to it, but the food was great, and thats what is most important to us. In reading other reviews from other patrons, I am learning that this is a Pakistani restaurant, which is very similar to Indian style cooking, but with some differences. Glad we happened upon this place.

We went there on a weekend for dinner with my 4yo. It was a quiet evening and the owner was very warm and welcoming. His suggestions were great! I ordered the mulligatawny soup for me and my kid based on his suggestion. It was mild enough for my lil one to enjoy. We then went on to order a vegetable biryani, the lamb biryani, and I was able to order a kid size paneer makni and jeera rice. I never knew they would be so accommodating to a child size menu that most asian restaurants do not have. He loved the food and polished off the plate! Hubby loved his lamb briyani and the vegetable biryani was excellent as well! Huge portions and I could not finish it! No regrets as I had vegetable biryani for next day lunch as well! Waiting to go again to try their appetizers and other menu items!

Pathetic service. Spicy food. The order given was for mild food, but they did not care about what we ordered. There were no spoons provided. There was no water. When asked for water only one was provided when were 4. We had placed the order when we were 52 minutes from the restaurant and we got the food 20 minutes after being seated and that too we had to ask for it. We had order a mild Paneer vegetable for our kids and we kept getting spicy and after the back and forth we were given the vegetable, which apparently had a small chicken piece in it and the answer we got from the owner was "Sorry it was a mistake and a piece must have fallen in it". Definitely would not recommend this restaurant for vegetarian and Jain customers.

This place needs to be more careful if theyre going to advertise vegetarian options on their menu. I ordered a meal labeled as vegetarian, and the owner also told me it didnt have any dairy or animal products. It was made very clear in our conversation that I am vegan, and do not eat meat or dairy, but when I got home to eat the food it had an enormous piece of chicken in it. In addition to that disappointment, my group also asked for all of our meals to be made as mild as possible and they were extremely spicy, even the people that didnt mind spice thought it was too hot. The kitchen was sloppy and the owner was pretty rude. We threw away the food and wont return.

I am not exactly sure who is posting these 5 star reviews. Me and my friend had been to zaiqa under the new management for lunch. They had not cleared previous days tandoori chicken from the buffet. And this was after the buffet had started during lunch. All dishes were cold. Overall it was my worst experience. Was utterly disgusted at the casual way the leftovers were still around after a day.

This is the best Indian Food I ever had in the states. The quantity as well as quality is excellent. You should definitely try their Chicken Korma and especially their naans are so soft and fresh that it will melt in your mouth. Highly recommended. Keep up the great work (Y)

The food was very tasty! Everything was extremely flavorful. The dishes taste slightly different from what you expect because they are Pakistani in origin, not Indian, but we really enjoyed everything we ordered (chicken samosas, palak paneer, tikka masala, mango lassi).

Under new management. AMAZING new owner. He let us sample some of the rice pudding for dessert. We loved the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, white rice, garlic naan, plain naan, and mango lassi!!! We will be coming back and telling all our friends too :)

Great food. Went there twice and absolutely loved the food. Our top favorites are parathas, kebabs, Naan with sesame seeds and mango lassi. Good luck with your new business. The owner was very nice and courteous. Will come back again and highly recommended.

Been there couple of times. The biriyani (I had goat biriyani) is great. One item that I found to be exceptionally good is the chicken bihari kabab. They make it perfect! Probably the best I had in this area.
