I tasted the food and I told the waitress I died and went to Heaven. We needed a great Mexican food place around here so badly and the others are not fresh and home made and authentic but this place is! the salsa was not hot but I asked for some hot and they brought me two bottles of home made hot sauces and one green and one red (just like in Mexico). The flour tortillas were fresh home made and the rice was from scratch. The meat was tender and moist and seasoned wonderfully but subtle. I ordered a plate with three meats and it was huge. I am a good eater but half went home for supper. it was enough for two people!! even the ice tea was fresh brewed tea! Slices of lime on the plate, and lemon in the tea. it was seriously a great meal. I cant wait to take my son who is a chef. he will appreciate the sweet girls who work there and smile and are easy on the eyes in their authentic dresses. The place was very clean (even the restrooms were clean) and both of our meals together were $25. Even the food was HOT and rice creamy beans... and it was just wonderful. My new favorite place.

Wonderful and Unexpected! Tonight was my first time giving this place a go with my family. All the food was great and served quickly, and the portions were larger than expected! Im a connoisseur of Mexican restaurants, and this is now one of my favorites in the area. The salsa was fresh and the guacamole was delish! I has the Torta Chilangas which was a huge sandwich. My gf had the enchiladas Verdes which were also amazing. Ill be going back on a regular basis. Maybe Ill try dessert if I dont head across the street to Grecos! Staff was also sweet, and the place had a bunch of customers that you cant see from the street, so dont l let that fool you. We heard from the gentleman at the counter that his mother was cooking her recipes in the back, so no wonder the food was so good!

Restaurant recently opened at a previous food service location. Owners cook and food is very well prepared and presented. Waitresses are prompt and food is served very quickly. Atmosphere has a lot to be desired. My wife and I have been there twice sampling 4 different meals. All were very acceptable with reasonable prices. On several meal selections you will be requested to designate the spice/hot level on a scale of 1-10. Cook hit our spice levels right on. Recommended.

I know good Mexican food --- Love great Mexican food. This place is a must-try. The real deal, at really good prices. Tacos are wonderful. LUNCH specials are 5 star. Daily chalk board. Local sourced, expertly prepared. Priced great. These are real Mexicans, so their English is not perfect, but they understand you 100%. Very nice place. Not fancy, but very authentic Mexican. Well kept, clean. BYOB if you want . I love this place.

Just moved to the area from Chicago and Ive missed some of the restaurants from home. I can check Mexican restaurants off of the list of ones I miss because Chilangos does all of it right. Their hard shell beef tacos were some of the best Ive ever had. We tried all of the tamales and they again hit a home run. Its pretty crazy that there is an actual authentic Mexican restaurant in Lititz PA but Im certainly glad I found it.

I come here pretty much whenever I can. They have extraordinary Mexican food, friendly and attentive staff, a selection of imported sodas, and home made tortias and flan! If you came quite hungry, have the Viva Mexico, or the Especial platters. If youre looking for a really great warm sandwich, I love the torta w/ carne asada. And Im not kidding about the flan. If you like custard, you have to try it.

My family really enjoys authentic Mexican food (as we travel to the Mexican boarder in El Paso Texas every summer and eat a lot of authentic Mexican there). We were extremely pleasantly surprised to discover that the food at Chilangos was both highly delicious and highly authentic! This became an instant family favorite for us and well definitely be returning there for a future date night.

Love Chillangos! Any time the employees are happy and excited enough to be singing in the kitchen while they work, you know youre in a great place that treats people well and cares for their customers and work. My food and service have always been fantastic!

I thought the food was average. Portions were adequate, but the food lacked the flavors I expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant. From the salsa accompanying the chips to the hot sauces and the entree, it was all a bit bland.

service was fast, food brought quickly, was hot and most importantly delicious. One regret of moving to PA from SoCal was lack of good Mexican food. That regret has now passed. Cant wait to get back to this Chilangos
