WOW. Okay so I found this place on Google Maps looking for Mexican food between Reading and Ephrata, and Im SO glad I did, cause this place is a true gem. From the outside, it doesnt look like the greatest place ever, but once you step inside, the decor is classy, and simply inspired. The tables are all draped with a red tablecloth over top of a white tablecloth, and are all pre-set up with silverware, folded cloth napkins, and sparkling wine glasses. The waitress (I feel horrible that I forget her name) was a friendly bi-lingual lady with short, dark hair and kind eyes. She was so incredibly accommodating and attentive, and was glad to make a recommendation for me: it was a mixed seafood dish in a cream sauce with rice, salad and fried plantain on the side. The plates of food are very large. That being said, I do recommend getting some sort of appetizer (we didnt) since all of this food is being made SUPER-FRESH. And so it takes a little longer than your average unwrap-and-microwave restaurants, haha. Its *so* worth the wait though, because the food is just full of flavor and wonderful texture. Also, on another note, my boyfriend got the steak and eggs dish, and the eggs looked like they were from healthy, free-range chickens, judging by the deep yellow-orange yolk color. And healthy chickens mean more nutrients packed into the eggs. And frankly, the prices at first strike you as a bit high, but for the quality of food and the amount of food youre getting, it is a steal. The steak and eggs were about $14, the Arroz con Pollo was like $10 and my seafood dish was $22. It was all 100% worth it, though. You need to try this. Ahora. ;)

The place is quiet and unassuming when you walk in but dont let that fool you. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive, though a bit soft spoken. They will go long stretches away from the table, but this seems more to allow for uninterrupted conversation rather that inattentiveness. The food is phenomenal and authentic to the Columbian cuisine. Dishes show a variety of flavors and each is excellently prepared. Prices are pushing towards the higher side, $15-$30 depending on what you get, but the portions are generous and you can definitely make 2 meals out of a dinner. The decor is very simple, which gives a casual and friendly atmosphere. The building itself seems to be a renovated apartment. It is well kept and there were no signs of dirt or grime in the dining area.

We arrived to this small joint in Ephrata who knew that Colombians serve food among the Amish. The platter was so big I couldve laid on it and it seemed as if I was eating a fat pig dressed in the gravy. Everything was great until they brought out their tres leche cake and it seemed more like comparing a tub of ice cream to a fat person taking vitamin pills. Was false and they really didnt have the right cake. Oh and have you ever been to a place that they make you do $20 tips thats like 18%. That $20 can buy you another meal and then on top of that they had their little Columbian boy serving you false cake.

Firstly, Im really not an overly adventurous person when it comes to food. Secondly, wow. This place was awesome. I was kind of like "eeeeh empanada what? Carne Asawhaaa?" but hey, let me tell you something... These guys can freaking cook. If youre like "Well I like mexican, spanish, whatever kind of food... but I dont know about this place..." Yeah, you know. You know you need to give them a shot because theyll make your taste buds do the friggin hustle [insert musical interlude here].

We will definitely be going back! The food was fantastic, huge portions & well-priced! I ordered a tamale & it was the absolute best I ever had! Even my young children enjoyed the food & are begging to go back. My husband & I appreciated the atmosphere. Tastefully decorated, clean, soft music & the service was attentive & friendly. If you havent tried it, check it out today! I think they are a wonderful addition to our growing town of Ephrata!

This is a great little restaurant in Ephrata. Their food is fresh and well priced! The empanadas and the accompanying salsa were fantastic! Everyone in our party loved their food, and the portions were so large that we struggled to finish. The staff is very friendly and the service was excellent. If you want authentic Colombian food you absolutely must try this place. We will be back again!

My wife really enjoyed her meal, but I found my food just a bit bland. Not bad, by any means, just seemed to be lacking a sauce or something to add to the meal, which I understand depends on the dish you get. However, the staff was extremely pleasant and more then made up for whatever, if any, issues I had. I will be returning, just maybe ordering a different course next time.

Fantastic Colombian restaurant. Surprised to see authentic Colombian food that is not in a big city like Manhattan or Philadelphia. I would definitely recommend the "yucca frita" (kinda like french fries) and the "Bandeja Paisa" which is pretty much one big sampler dish (steak, pork, sausage, rice, beans) . Thats the dish I always get when i go there.

The best authentic empanadas ever tasted with the most delicious homemade hot sauce for dipping! The atmosphere is great, staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is out of this world! Amazing selection of gluten free menu! I recommend the guanabana (sour sop) juice with almond milk, its delightful and refreshing!

Excellent food with a range of choices at affordable prices. The overall vibe in the restaurant is awesome, I felt like I was in Columbia. The waiting staff were very friendly and told us lots of interesting things about columbian culture when we were chatting to them. Couldnt recommend this place more!

Worth the drive from WHERE EVER you are. I need 10 stars to even begin to describe the meal I just enjoyed. I felt bad taking food to go. When the ambiance and food preparation is of a 5 star restaurant, but the prices are this reasonable it does not get any better.

Stopped in for a late Sunday lunch and had a fantastic experience. Had the empanadas and some arroz con pollo, both perfectly accented by the Columbia salsa, or ahi. Fitting atmosphere, friendly staff and great portions at a phenomenal price. Cant be beat.
