Kanpai offers consistently excellent food and service. It is always a pleasure to dine here, very comfortable with large booths and a relaxed atmosphere. Im sure you will meet Sam if you go, he is incredibly generous and welcoming! All of the staff is friendly and very accommodating. They make an incredible unagi don, which arrives intricately decorated and enticing to the eye. I especially enjoy their miso soup, it is the finest Ive had! Their general tsos chicken is beautifully complex in flavor and and not greasy like many tend to be. My family and I have found Kanpai to be a such a good choice, we are pleased each time we leave! They make both Japanese and Chinese cuisine, exceptionally well! Thank you Kanpai!!

Went there with my husband for lunch ordered soup ok tea ok ordered beef chow mein start to eat it and theres a piece if wire in my food. Waiter came over he said I think thats a piece of what they use to clean the wok with. He asked me if I wanted another one I said ok. He brings out the second one Im starting to eat it and the same thing happened again cut the in nside of my mouth . Yuck by this point I totally lost my appetite and I will never ever go back there again. I would stay away from Kanpai its not all of what its cracked up to be. I took a picture of the piece of wire I will post it on here if it allows me to. I will definitely never go to Kanpai in Lititz PA ever again

Being new to the area, I wanted to find a good Chinese restaurant. This one was a bit disappointing for sit-down dinner. We ordered Garlic Shrimp and Sesame Tofu. Of course the garlic shrimp was labeled spicy on the menu, but I did not know that spicy meant no garlic flavor and a greasy sauce overwhelmed by a surplus of red pepper flakes. The sesame tofu was half-fried; it seems like they tried to fry it, but stopped short so it was just greasy. There was no sesame flavor in the sauce either. If you are not picky, you will probably enjoy your meal there: it is average. For the prices, I have had much better for cheaper, especially for a Chinese restaurant.

This place is amazing!! The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond what is expected. You can tell that they love their job. You dont have to many places that care of about quality and presentation, it definitely makes it worth it to eat in. My fiance ordered the sushi special (sexy girl) and was blown away by the presentation and flavor. The sushi chef even took the time to draw a bird with some sauce on the plate. I ordered the sesame chicken, which was also planted very prettily. We enjoyed everything and even after we were full we couldnt stop eating.

We had dinner at Kanpai last night and were extremely satisfied. The food is better, hotter, fresher and just downright good Asian food. The servers were extremely friendly.and accommodating. It just seemed cleaner and more upscale than before. Im anxious to go back and will certainly pass the word on. I dont ordinarily write reviews but felt that this time it was warranted as we were so pleased with our meal.

My husband and 5 year old stopped on a whim to grab a bite to eat and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the entire experience! The food was great, the staff was terrific! Beautiful ambient surrounding! Huge menu to choose from at your average price! Definitely six thumbs up from our family! My son boosted about how good his dinner was the whole way home!

First, there is no buffet here. Second, while the service isnt bad for a Chinese place, I was almost done eating before my wife even got her food (which was sushi). The taste was average at best and the scallops in mine, the fried rice, and the sweet potato in my wifes roll were all undercooked.

Standard Chinese food menu but one with a very good quality. For example, the sweet and sour sauce look and taste homemade. In addition to the Chinese menu, the also have pretty awesome sushi and sashimi. Friendly host and staff. Our host, Sam, was very friendly and kind to kids.

Great takeout Chinese food. We had General Tsos chicken, Sweet and Sour chicken, and fried rice last time and it was good. I cant comment on the sushi etc since we didnt try that. Overall great value and good food, especially for traditional Chinese takeout.

Very tasty. My wife and I stopped in not to long ago. Was an off hour and completely empty. Whcih kind of worried us. The food was fresh and everything we ordered was awesome. Little pricier than your cheap take out Chinese places, but worth it.

Truly uninspired cooking. The hot and sour soup was the worst Ive had in years and the Sichuan style tofu was sweet, like the soup, and not worth finishing. The service was good, there was almost nobody else there so the wait short etc.

Average does not mean bad! This is a nice, little restaurant with good, consistent food and efficient staff at a great price (about $7 for buffet, $7 to $12 for menu order). No reservations, and the place fills up fast at noon every day.

Being that I am a vegetarian, I prefer Chinese dishes with tofu in them. At Beijing Szechwan I had the Szechwan Tofu and it was very flavorful and spicy. One of the best dishes I have ever had!
