Very disappointed in my past two visits at Cafe Chocolate. Each time Ive ordered coffee from there, Ive been served drinks that were neither hot, nor anything close to tasting like the lattes Ive ordered (more like whole milk and syrup). The first time I let it go and ended throwing my drink out, but the second time I had multiple co-workers taste my drink, and everyone agreed I should take it back. I brought the full drink back and politely asked to have it re-made. Having worked in the food / customer service industry for years, I understand how that request can be frustrating, but I ENTIRELY side with the customer as the customer is always right, and he/she is (usually) unsatisfied for a valid, practical reason. After being told the only "fix" they could make would be a $0.75 extra charge for another shot of espresso, I was not only offended, but my "coffee" was still cold and didnt taste any stronger than before. Its not the money that matters in this situation (although I did pay a little over $6 in the end.) Its the VALUE of the customer. Not only have they lost me as a customer, but also the multiple people I shared my negative experience with via word-of-mouth. Now... I am not one to complain about minor instances. But for future customer scenarios like mine, I hope the management reads this and confronts their employees about the value of the customer. They were young girls working, so I understand they were most likely confused about to handle a complaint. However, it is an important lesson to be taught that one dissatisfied customer = sacrificing relationships with many other prospective customers. I am ALL for supporting family-owned and local establishments. I hate franchises. But the community who supports those businesses should be respected as well.

Every year we visit Lititz and Lancaster for a sleepy, fall weekend-getaway and every time we say were going to grab a snack somewhere different, we keep coming back to Cafe Chocolate. I can only speak to a few things that keeps us coming back: 1. Dark Choclate Crepe - marscapone, strawberries, chocolate. Goes perfect with 2. the Mocha, Americano, Hot Chocolate, or The Turbo - even a fruit flavored Italian soda 3. Last but not least, the ownership and workers are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed with customers of all types If you happen to find yourself in Lititz and walking around all the cute shops and are looking for a local spot to treat yourself, give Cafe Chocolate a shot. I also know some New Yorkers that come to Lititz just to get away and this is a favorite of theirs when they visit.

We have relatives in the area so we get to the area not infrequently and we always try to stop at Cafe Chocolate, whether its breakfast, lunch, dinner or in-between. The staff and the owner are so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and the food is sooo delicious and exquisite. A very special attempt is made to meet each persons dietary needs. My spouse needs gluten-free and they are so good about that. She is French so we get to Paris regularly to visit all of her family. We go to Cafe Chocolate to remind ourselves of Angelinas on the Rue de Rivoli-the premier spot for hot chocolate in Paris for over a century. Do check it out if you are in Lititz. You will never go wrong here--ever.

Dont waste your time. Go to Isaacs down the road instead, youll get a better meal for less money. I ordered a "Wild Salmon Burger" which was a wild salmon burger, but it happens to be one that comes frozen in a bag from Costco. I eat them at home all the time and I recognized it. It was $11 on a crappy little salad with a side of crappy sauce. I could have saved myself the trip and had the same burger at home for $1 with the sauce I like. I asked them outright if it was from Costco and they denied it. But it was. Might be an okay place for beverages but thats it.

This is a place me and my family have been coming to ever since we moved to Lititz about 4 years ago. They are very family friendly. Very good service. Very tasty food and beverages. And the staff is absolutely the best part about this place. You know its a good place when you can walk in and always feel welcome and at home. This place is one of the best cafes Ive ever been to. And will be continuing to enjoy their delicious coffee for as long as they are still around. I recommend this place to everyone.

I had the Cubano sandwich which was fantastic. To drink I had a drink with pureed strawberry and pellegrino. The drink was delicious. One person we went with was vegetarian and they had tons of options for her. Most of the menu actually was vegetarian. All sandwiches come with a salad and the dressing was a strawberry chocolate vinegarette (I think) and it was very good. They actually sell the dressing at the shop. The prices were not expensive at all.

An unexpected gem. Everything here is fresh, vibrant, and served with earnest enthusiasm. The owner is a walking smile and will greet all patrons with a hug and welcome you to the cafe. The menu is hearty, healthy and offers a selection for carnivores, vegans and all tastes in between. In a desert of dutch country processed starches and fats this is an oasis of freshness.

A nice little cafe with a really tasty fondue fountain. The items on the menu taste pretty good, but as most people say, the portions are not for someone whos hungry. A single glass of frozen hot chocolate is $4.50, which is a little excessive. Other than that if youre looking for a relaxed, sweet drink with a friend or a very light lunch this is a solid option for you.

Amazing little cafe tucked away on Litltz Main Street. Everything we tried was fresh, organic and delicious! The highlight of this cafe is their extensive range of chocolate based dishes and drinks and being privately owned the place has lots of charm! Staff are very attentive and friendly and the place makes you wish it was your local hangout!

Good drinks, and great food. Ive come here a few times to get some work done during slow times and I always felt comfortable. Their chocolate is really good, and theyve got some nice merchandise to purchase (I bought a cool mug!). The service is friendly and they offer a selection of reading material if youre in the mood.

I love this restaurant! Its a quaint place with small plates of absolutely fantastic, original, artistic food. Its wonderful. Very friendly to gluten free and vegan tastes. And the chocolate is fabulous. This is not an overpriced restaurant at all if you are a foodie, eat here.

If youre looking for something different to try, this is the place to go. Although a lot of the items on the menu dont seem that filling, its a great place to sit down with friends and try unique foods that are not commonly found at any restaurants Ive been to. Give it a try!

Wheelchair accessibility is back a dark walkway to the left of the building, (which ought to be lit) Theres a ramp in the back and ample space inside to maneuver a powerchair, staff is friendly and coffee was the perfect temp to drink with a creamy chocolatey dessert.

Cafe Chocolate isnt that great. For the name you would expect them to have cases full of delicious chocolate desserts but they dont. They have more on their coffee menu than on the dessert menu which is disappointing if you wanted to actually eat chocolate here.
