I was here tonight and the host was accommodating but less than thrilled about it. It is 92 degrees in Lansdale and we wanted to enjoy this weather outside. We asked to be seated outside and the host said its self seating on the side near the bar. There had been no umbrellas so we asked for the side with the umbrellas. She seemed very annoyed at this or maybe thats just her resting "angry" face idk. Nonetheless she helped us by getting us the seating we wanted. However when being led by her and arriving at the patio outdoor seating she said and I quote "you can pick a seat I dont know where you want to sit". I couldnt even get angry me and my sister laughed at that one. Throughout the visit we had drinks spilled while bringing them to the table which wasnt the issue because mistakes happen were human. It was the lack of caring some of the service staff had for example the young lady that spilled the drinks was very apologetic and seemed to be embarrassed which made me feel bad and let her know its not a problem. However when we had the drinks remade the gentlemen placed them on the table in a rush and spilled the same drink but at least it made it to th table right?? He could care less however and seemed to be more in a rush than anything. I did ask for the manager and he listened to my concerns-will it change-I dont know. Its not often that Ill write a review but when I have either exceptional customer service or very poor I make it a habit because we are paying for the experience not just the food. Its a shame this had to be such a negative experience.

I go to Margaritas every Tuesday, its a tradition for my friends and I, but every time we return we get worse and worse experiences. Last tuesday, set 13th 2016, we were running late so we got there at 9:20 - aware that the kitchen closes at 10. Our waiter comes, take our orders for drinks and dont let us order the food quite yet, he then comes back 5 minutes later with drinks and leaves again - NOT ONE WORD BEING SAID. We wait 10 more minutes, and I get another waiter to call him, because we had been sitting there for 15 minutes and he hadnt taken our orders, and the kitchen was about to close. He comes, we order. We run out of drinks a few minutes after that, and we dont get refills or our food until 10 PM. Therefor 25 minutes we didnt have food, drink or our waiter nearby. 10:06 we get our food, there was no rice, the restaurant had run out of it and nobody warned us nor apologized, I called them off on that to which I got "it was a busy night". I wish somebody would have had the decency to at least apologize, or when the waiter took our orders say "We dont have any rice, is that okay?" VERY UNSATISFIED once again

Do not go here. Please go somewhere else . Anywhere else . The grool they tried to serve my family and I this evening was shocking. From corn with no kurnels on it to street tacos that give the street a bad name, it was a mess. They even screwed up the margaritas! For christs sake , thats the name of this so called restaurant, at least get that right. Our entire time here came out to about 2 hours. My son had to re-order his ice cold food three times, and the third time it only came out after several reminders to the staff, and when everyone else has finished their food. Our waiter was excellent, very apologetic for the rest of the untrained or uncaring staff. The manager comped at lest 50% of our bill. This was a nice gesture, but I would rather pay full price and get a decent meal. Usually I give a place a second or even fourth chance to get it right, but judging by my experience tonight , as well as reviews by others, im not going back. Hey margaritas corporate... its time to clean house in this store and try again.

This past Fathers Day we took the family to Margaritas. After sitting at our table for 15 minutes the waitress finally acknowledged us. We then placed our order and 50 minutes later we were still waiting. The soda/water that had been delivered before that was drank and after requesting refills several times with no response, we finally just gave up. Our meals were finally served a full hour after ordering. Our grandsons chicken and son-in-laws steak dinner were stone cold, and that is no exaggeration. In addition, two of the other orders were not what we had ordered. We have never been so disgusted and disappointed in a restaurants service/meal. We spoke to the manager who attempted to make excuses and did compensate us for our meal, for which we were thankful. Hopefully this was a one time thing, although Ive heard of others also having terrible service here. We will not be going back to Tio Juans Margaritas Mexican Restaurant any time soon, or, most likely, any time at all!

For starters let me say I never take the time to write a review for places but this is an exception. That was quite possibly the worst "mexican" place Ive been to. We both ordered fajitas and the sorry excuse for food had ZERO flavor. The beans tasted like they were from a can - not even Goya canned food - the generic kind that has no flavor haha And the vegetables that came with the dish - that were supposed to be peppers and onions but were 95% onion - were clearly from a frozen package and were hardly grilled.. and again ZERO flavor. The best part of our $40 meal was the free chips and salsa. And the water.. the water was pretty good. AND to top it off.. the service was seriously terrrrible. We kept having to flag down a busboy to get our waitress because she was mia the whole meal. Overheard other tables complaining as well. Smh if you have ever had decent mexican before - dont waste your time or money at this place or youll probably be very sorry.

This is for the Collegeville location, they dont have a place to write a review. The food here was great, and the drinks were even better. The people who worked there were plesant to deal with except for just one. I usually dont bash on someone but this was just too much for me to not say anything. This girl whos name was tata or tete was aweful. She was very rude to me and my family the entire time. She gave us nasty looks when i asked her about working at margaritas, then went off to talk about me and my family loud enough for us to hear. I was very offended by this girl and totally turned me off from coming back. It seemed like she was more concerned about meeting men instead of helping the customers out. They need to really look at their employees because people like this wont bring customers back. Rant over.

I dont know why there are so many low star ratings. I was just at the collegeville restaurant today. I have never been before but it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had the nachos cowabunga with chicken. Chicken was seasoned well and came with lots of tasty toppings, guacamole, beans, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and cheese. The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. I ordered the steak fajitas. I wish I could eat it everyday! The steak was tender and seared well. And it came with everything you needed to make perfect tacos. Soft tortillas, more guacamole, fresh cheese, diced to mates, Mexican rice, grilled onions etc. It was amazing. Our hostess was very pleasant and friendly. The waitress was nice and attentative. I will definitely be going back, hopefully to try a margarita!
