Ive come to time, many a time. Haha get the pun, drum roll.... No my joke wasnt good and neither is this place. Imagine yourself in center city Philadelphia, walking around on a fall night, and stumble upon time. What you would notice is something epic. A line so long you would think you were waiting to get into Franklin Mortgage Investment or Hop-Sings, when in reality, you walk in and see a somewhat classy and rustic jazz style, loud band, bar. This place is confused with itself. It seems like it wants to be a casual dining establishment, offer live music, and then a small dance floor upstairs. Yes this would be super cool! But, at this point you have already paid a cover to get in the door. You get in, look around, and say to yourself how in the hell am I supposed to get a drink, yet alone navigate the bar. Id assume, if the fire marshal came in this place would be shut down, because boy do they pack it in. If you are short guy like me, be prepared to try to weasel through to the bar, to possibly get a drink. I would highly recommend having a girl with you because you have to be lucky to get service. Id like to give time a higher rating, but since they pack it in so tight, it makes me feel way too uncomfortable. Maybe, this place would be good to go with, for a girls night out, but cannot recommend it for the standard chap.

LOVE, this place. We drive 25 minutes to eat here weekly because where we live in the Yardley-Newtown area, restaurants are not that great, the service is snobby, and weve given up on the local food scene. The owner is a GREAT guy - always there, always concerned if you like your food, and 100% willing to try special requests. His other family members/employees are 1st class also. My usuals are things like Hot/Sour soup, WonTon Soup, Lo Mein, Fried Rice. Also - Hunan Beef! The beef dishes here re so tender - I dont know how they do it so well. We go with our little girl and they even ask if they should change the tv channel for her entertainment - very thoughtful. Wish you guys success and its a pleasure to come in there to eat-in or carry-out.

Chinatown Cafe has always been basic. I was aware that the ownership and management had changed over the last 6 months but thought I should give them a fair chance. Unfortunately, I found myself the only customer there on a Saturday night, when you would expect it to be busy. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, with me being greeted by a "Can I help you?" request, as opposed to asking me where I would like to sit in the empty restaurant. After this the service was efficient but the uncomfortable feeling remained. As for the food I had, it wasnt particularly good. It lacked flavour and wasnt even presented in a remotely appetising manner. This was my last visit. I wont be going back. Based on the experience Im not sure how much longer this place will survive.

Its a shame been going here for 8 years. Cary was the best! He sold the place about 7 months ago. Unfortunately the new owners are not getting it. I have given them 3 tries since they bought the place. Every meal are all lacking flavor. The owner just doesnt get it. They will tell you it is the same cook but it is missing something. It is a shame the new owners dont understand customer service or just dont care. Its really too bad this little gem has gone downhill. Cary we miss you. Hopefully the new owners notice that all the reviews are stellar before they took over.

The food here is top quality rarely found in Bucks County. Somethings such as wontons and fried rice are so different you will be amazed at the taste. We eat here oftten and my inlaws Sol & Sara Sauls come even more often. They love it here. They love the Roast Pork wonton noodle soup. They say nothing like this anywhere in tri state area. The service is supurb. The waitrses especially Lucy is outstanding. Owner Carey is always on hand and makes you very comfy. He is a great host.. DAVID WEISSMAN AND UNCLE SOL. PS: You will love the food here, Carey will surely guarantee it.

Good food and a kind, attentive young woman was our waitress. The food was delicious - we had salty spicy shrimp & chicken and string beans. The sauce on on the chicken was distinct and wasnt your general Chinese food sauce that seems to get put on everything. Slightly more expensive than your average chinese take out but worth the cost.

The best wonton ever. The wrappers are ethereal and the broth is rich and flavorful. Generous portions.
