We were seated right away, greeted with a wonderful smile, our drink orders were immediately, and our orders came out quickly. I had the veggie omelette, with hash browns and my husband had the Western omelette with grits. Lauren, our wonderful waitress, kept checking on coffee refills, water, etc.. Our omelettes were large, fluffy and delicious. We had eaten breakfast here before, so knew how wonderful Metro diner is.. Only slight downside was the grits...They werent their usual thickened state..They were a bit watery..We mention this to Lauren, so the chef could check.. Imagine our surprise when my husbands breakfast meal was comped-the manager did not need to do that..We mentioned it to make the kitchen staff aware. Excellent customer service!!!! Thank you..!!! We will definitely be back!!!

My girlfriend and I were invited to the Metro Diner by Peggy, for there Grand Opening. My first impression was the menu wasnt really big, but after looking at what was offered I could see why, " Comfort Food Heaven " !!! I ordered the chicken and waffles with strawberry butter topped with powdered sugar. The waffles were fluffy and lite and the chicken was crisp and juicy. It was Amazing !!! My girlfriend got the pot pie which was massive and filled with delicious vegetables. My waiter was great and really friendly, he new the menu and was a big help. I highly recommend the Metro Diner, go hungry and leave full. You wont be disappointed !!! A very special Thank You to Peggy.

We were here for 2 days from New Jersey and decided to try this place for breakfast. We waited only 15 minutes which wasnt that bad concidering all the people that were waiting outside. We sat down and Lauren was so informative, so up beat and friendly. We were overwhelmed by the menu and she helped us break it down and we were so full at the end and everything was so great we decided to go back the next day. Victoria helped us the next day and it was the same great attitude and upbeat. She kept checking on us to make sure everything was okay. She refilled our water and coffee without us even having to ask her! I would definitely recommend this diner to anyone who asked!

The place is nicely decorated, a bit noisy, but very nice inside. The waiter was outstanding - very attentive and extremely pleasant. The food was OK, very southern style cooking - which many people like, but not our favorite. The prices were way to high for what we got and just average quality food. We were there for dinner, so maybe it is much better at breakfast and lunch. One thing that was a bit strange, since it was later at night (maybe 1/2 hour before closing), they ran out of iced tea, andwe were told they would not piut more on so late at night. All considered, food was OK, not outstanding, service was great, but prices were too expensive.

This was my first time here and it was great! The initial seating did take some time but, it was due to the time of day (noon). Once we were seated, our waitress was Shannon and she was just fabulous. Very enthusiastic and patient. I ordered the steak omelette w/hashbrowns and the yo hala on the square. The yo hala was fantastic! So sweet and filling. The omelette was great. This is REAL food! The manager Dae Chang was so delightful. Very welcoming and funny. He spent some time talking to us and he made us laugh quite a bit. Overall a good experience and we will be back to try the fried chicken and waffles ❤

Not truly worthy of the title "Diner." Diners dont close at 8pm... Diners are typically 24/7, not all but most and the ones in this area that arent 24/7, close between 10pm-12am. Yeah, I know, they serve breakfast at all hours, big whoop. Its no secret that Metro is a successful business and still on the climb, so why have shorter business days than competitors and lose potential income? Oh... Yeah. The food and environment were very enjoyable. I look forward to having the opportunity to eat at Metro again.

My husband and I have been here twice and have not been disappointed. The maximum wait time is 5 minutes, and the service is super fast. Once you order the food comes out in a matter of minutes which is ideal if you have a small baby like we do. Another thing I like is they bring the bill out while you are eating so you dont have to wait around when you are finished, which we find annoying about other restaurants. The food is also exceptionally good and there are a lot of unique choices on the menu.

Went there for the first time today. Short wait, great attentive staff. First time Ive ever had fried chicken and waffles for breakfast and it definitely wont be the last. My wife had biscuits and gravy. It was freaking delicious and There was enough there for two meals. I just had one of her left over biscuits and gravy and it was almost as good warmed up as it was the first time around. Thanks for a great, new experience. Keep up the good work!!!! Ps, cant wait to try the meatloaf.

Just like the reviews for this diner the food is inconsistent. First I ordered chicken and waffles and my wing and leg was soggy and cold. Now the Brest and thigh was kinda hot and crispy. My waffles where so cold the butter never melted. I ordered fires and had to send them back because they were also cold. Now my wife dinner she said was her new goto and she loved it. So we will have to give this place another shot. The waiter was not on the ball and maybe the blame for my cold food.

Walked in, it was packed, and lots of people waiting. We were told there was a 20 minute wait, found the the bar top tables were available. We asked the wait staff if we could sit there. We were seated and ordered shortly after. It was amusing watching the cooks and wait staff put out delicious looking meals! Our meals were delicious and the price wasnt bad! I will absolutely be back if I am in the area again!! Keep up the hard work, it really does show!!

Horrible service when checking in. We waiting over a half hour which is understandable on a Sunday HOWEVER a call ahead walked in and took the table we had been waiting for. I understand you need to sit them as a priority HOWEVER IT IS NOT A RESERVATION!!! They should be seated but not before the same number party who has been waiting! I WILL NOT BE RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! I hope they learn to treat their customers who wait better

Food was horrible. How do you mess up bacon, eggs and home fries? Undercook everything. Horrible. Omelette was runny eggs. Home fries were only cooked on the very top layer. Bacon was fat and not crisp at all. And, no one even asked how my meal was. Didnt the full plate of uneaten food cause anyone to ask "was there a problem"? No. Worst meal Ive had in a long time. Stay far away from this place. It wont be long before theyre out of business.

The food was great! Broccoli cheddar soup was amazing. Snickerdoodle coffee I wish had a little more flavor, but thats ok. The fried chicken was pretty delish and hot hot hot! Nice to get hot food. Mashed potatoes have chunks in them, if you like that :) and zucchini grilled was yummy! Wont leave hungry. Staff is entertaining too, I enjoyed their humor and personalities!
