I would like to inform readers of my review, that China King has changed owners since many of the old reviews for this place were written. I dont know what it was like before, but my experience ordering at least once a week has been overall satisfactory. $14 for two at China king. Now on with the review. After living in town for a few months now, this is our go-to Chinese food place. Compared to the other places in the area, China King has the best bang for your buck by far. Ive worked at many Chinese food restaurants over the years, and I would classify the food at China King to average, to above average depending on the item. Many of the dishes taste more home made, which is a nice change. For example, my hot and sour soup is always made to order from scratch, this is very important for hot and sour soup as the vinegar is brightest right after its added. Most places make a giant pot of the soup to serve from throughout the service, leading to dull flavor. Another note, their fried food in my experience was crispy and not greasy. Good egg rolls. I would recommend the teryiaki chicken skewers, the hot and sour soup, and the beef and broccoli. I would not reccomend their noodle based dishes. Not enough sauce on the noodles, leads to them sticking together in a block.

Im pretty outraged that youre forced to give a star to leave a review but I wanted to let everyone know about this horrific establishment they call a restraint place. Most definitely deserves nothing but my open palm in their employees face. The food tastes like actual sewage and I had to spit it out. I thought you couldnt mess up dumplings but these no good Asians proved me wrong. The dumplings were the worst thing Ive ever put in my mouth. I ordered the general tsos chicken with fried rice, and I kid you not it was minute rice and dog meat with sauce on it. Only good thing I orderd was my coke. Mind you this food was all 3 hours late and I was located 3 minutes away.

Place is absolutely disgusting. Food was just as horrible as I expected after seeing the place. One bite and threw it away. I go in and order and a kid and his mother I presume stand there and watch videos on their phones. Finally about after 10 minutes the kid makes my food. So not only are they rude and unprofessional, theyre lazy and nasty people. How they are even in business is beyond me! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! SAVE YOUR MONEY! (BTW I never write reviews but I had to let people know about this horrific place!)

I order from these guys all the time. My house is literally 8 mins away. They always deliver. This time I get a call 15 minutes later saying that the delivery driver doesnt feel like driving this way anymore. WHAT?!?!? Is that not his job to drive food to homes. I could see if this was my first time calling and my house was 20 mins away. But I order frequently and I live 8 MINUTES away!! Then they told me sorry try again tomorrow... Uhh, no I will be finding a new Chinese place!

Ladies and gentlemen, this was the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. My buddies and I bought some general tsos chicken, dumplings and egg rolls and they tasted like garbage. My friend had to spit the food up. We ordered at 9:06 P.M and we got it at 11:30 P.M. The delivery guy came to our camp three times without our food. If I was homeless and this was the only option of food, I wouldnt take it.

Employees are very nice. I ordered pork fried rice with orange chicken, came with egg roll. Everything was very good. I havent ventured to another food item bc i usually love my orange chicken. I order constantly. Alot of people are commenting with negative reviews. But this restaurant is under New Management....try it for yourself. Different owners, different service, better food.

Have someone else pick your food up for you. Its better if you dont see the place inside or youll lose your appetite. The food tastes pretty acceptable but my gosh, the inside is just downright scary. This used to be a buffet but they closed the buffet and moved next door. Well, next door is not heated. Not air conditioned. Moldy smelling. Dirty. Just scary.

You guys know who I am. Youve seen me on the food network and I own dozens of five star restraunts. I know what good Chinese food tastes like. The food at New China King is the worst food I have ever tasted. The service, delivery time, food, etc. are terrible. Do yourself a favor and never consider New China King.

My boys got some chicken, dumplings and egg rolls and were expecting a nice meal but it came 3 hours late and the dumplings tasted like a cat crapped on them. The chicken was cardboard and come to think about it, I dont think it was chicken. Do not eat this if its the last thing you do

I would say this is the best Chinese food in town. (Okay there are only 2 but its still the best). The general tso and the orange chicken were excellent. Well prepared with good flavor. Rice flavor was good, but was a little dry. Egg rolls were some of the better ones I have had.

Even if you live 5 minutes away, the food will not be there before an hour. Fing bullshit. The other Chinese restaurant in K-town is so much better. Stick to anything but this place- and if you want it -GET IT YOURSELF!

Ordered Chicken Lo Main, Vegetable Lo Main, and Egg Fried Rice. Paid for all three but only got two of the meals, and of course the one missing was mine. Also took an hour and a half.
