I have to edit my post because after the past 4 or 5 times dining here. I love the food. I cannot emphasize that enough. And as a weekly patron Ive come to be very upset with service. We come for dinner most weeks and each of the past 5 visits we have had to ask for bread when all other parties get theirs automatically. This includes all tables seated after us. Our most recent visit, three tables after us all had their appetizers and orders placed before we were even basically greeted. In all it took over an hour and half to receive our meal. All three of those tables also received their leftovers boxed for them. We did not, we were given our boxes and they all received checks without asking. We had to ask twice. My husband and I do appear to be younger than we are, which I feel may attribute to the poor service. The only reason I do not change from a 5 to a 3 star is the impeccable food. My husband and I have agreed we will give the facility one more chance as it is our favorite but are getting tired of having to ask for basic things like bread and utensils. Every time I have been to Trattoria, the experience is even better than the last. The servers are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is intimate without making you feel you need to "dress to the nines". The owner and chef, Hasan, personally greets and ensures his guests are genuinely enjoying their experience. You can tell he truly takes pride in his establishment. He isnt above cleaning a table to ensure his guests are attended to as quickly as possible. The food is absolutely delicious and at some of the lowest cost to the area. The tortellini in pink sauce is absolutely to die for. Both the lunch and dinner menus are superb. Definitely an excellent place to check out if you are visiting the area, or live here full time as I do.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner, having small children its a far and few between event. We were seated almost immediately, which was great considering the new change of the restaurant taking no reservations anymore, and it was a Saturday night. We were greeted positively and welcoming by our server, a great start to our date. As we were enjoying our appetizer, many people were coming in to join a group of what appeared to be a birthday party for someone, which the party got a little loud, Hassan the owner recognized almost immediately that my husband and I were a little troubled by how loud it had gotten. Hassan then came and asked if he could reseat us, so we had have a more enjoyable experience. Great hospitality and intuitive service! The meal, as always, start to finish was exceptional. Weve have yet to have a bad experience at this restaurant, highly recommended!

Went for my birthday 2 years ago, we were their last table of of the night. They could of said that the kitchen was closed or been rude, however, they sat us with big smiles and treated us like we were the first table of the night. So that covers the staff... Now, lets talk about the amazing food My husband and I both ordered food that was to die for. I wish I could only remember exactly what I ordered, i think it was chicken with pasta. Anyway the point is they gave us nice size portions that you can even bring lunch home for the next day. They even stopped cleaning up to get out of there to still give me a piece of cheesecake and sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me, which actually meant the world to us. Thank you

Food was decent, service was awful. We are a younger couple and were immediately prejudged, Im guessing the waitress thought it wasnt worth her time because she assumed a small tip. We were the only table for the majority of our dinner. Kept having to wait, didnt get offered a refill until we were ready to leave and did not even get asked about dessert. We typically tip 20%, 15% even if the service is bad, we did 10% for this waitress, which was pushing it. I hate to be judged and at least fake it to make my experience moderately OK. Its a shame to have to leave a nice restaurant and be that disappointed in the service.

We went whitewater rafting as a family from North Jersey and never expected to find this gem of a restaurant in the middle of Jim Thorpe PA. The seafood was on point , we had mussels, soup, clams and calamari as appetizers and the seafood medley pasta was amazing and my son had the salmon and raved about it. The wait staff is so nice I was wondering if they were drugged. You need to try this place if your here. I would dare to drive from North Jersey to eat here. I am not a writer of reviews but when something stands out like this I wanted to give a shout out.

We just stumbled upon this place, well really we were driving by and the aroma was so delightful that we turned around and decided it might be a good place to eat. Everything was delicious. At our table we enjoyed an appetizer of Truffle Sachetti in fontina sauce. We had the Margherit Pizza, Tortellini Michael Angelo and kids chicken parm. My husband thinks the pizza could of had a little more cheese...oh and he had the Manhattan clams chowder. ..it was loaded with clams and the flavor was good just not robust. The home made bread was perfect.

Where do I start?? This place feels like home. LOVE Hassan (the owner). LOVE his wife. LOVE the chefs and the wait staff. LOVE the food and the care they ALL put into the dishes they prepare and the service they provide. LOVE the view from the porch on a warm summer day...and the cozy atmosphere in the bar area when the snow is blowing outside. This place is comfort every time I step into the door and is truly my favorite restaurant on the mountain and beyond. Keep up the great work, Everyone! <3

Prices seemed high for the quality of the items. Peach margarita was tasty but was served clear in a regular water glass. Water had to be requested and was served in the same type glass as the $8 Margarita. The pork chop dinner held two rather thin gristly bone-in chops with fatty edges, covered completely with a mix of peppers, mushrooms, potato wedges and sausage pieces almost designed to hide the chops. I mentioned the poor quality chops to the manager and was told "The fat makes better gravy."
