A VEGETARIAN DELIGHT!! One of the best Asian restaurants in the area. They serve a mix of Thai, Chinese and Japanese. The menu is tight, large enough to accommodate the three styles of cooking without being so big that you have to worry about the ingredients being fresh. All the food is fresh made from high quality ingredients (especially the fish). The have a large, dedicated vegetarian menu for each style of food and anything that isnt vegetarian can be made that way by use of one of their meat substitutes: tofu, satian or a special replacement made from wheat. All are great tasting (Try the curry duck, OMG!!) Seriously, Im a meat eater and this place always leaves me full and satisfied... you can take everyone here and all will leave happy. I eat here about once a month and have never been disappointed... if youre looking for great food, vegetarian or otherwise, at a reasonable price, try Wild Ginger!

Ive been to Asian places in the burbs and in the city, including Chinatown. This place is a must have. Both the meat and veggie options are amazing. Lunch is an amazing deal. For $7 to $10, you will be happily satiated. They write on the menu that they can make any meat dish either vegeterian or vegan. My friend got the Vegan Sesame "Chicken" and it was unbelievable. I usually hate fake meat, but this is a must try. Her lunch dish which included a vegan "chicken" soup was $6.75 total. I got the 3 sushi roll special which came with a salad and miso soup for $13. Amazing deal, but the sushi was average. The place is also a BYOB. Bring your annoying vegetarian friends, a bottle of wine, and have an amazing meal.

I dont understand how this place is not more popular. I just had the sashimi regular. The pieces of fish were generously cut, fresh and beautifully presented. Other members of my party had the seafood basil (with a small lobster tail, beautiful meaty shrimp and scallops), teriyaki soba (nothing crazy but well done), and steamed veggies. Pepper tuna takaki appetizer had a delicious ponzu sauce that I kept for my sashimi. Friendly service and good value. The only disappointment was the aged tofu appetizer. It was very lightly fried with a decent sauce, but I prefer a much denser tofu. Highly recommend Wild Ginger.

Dan the sushi chef is awesome!!!!! His heart is in his work and the quality of the food as well as its presentation was on point. My sister had a bad experience with sushi before and was reluctant to try it again, but after some coaxing she tried the spicy tuna roll combo and she loved it! Our servers Dawn & Apple were very sweet and made the experience all the better! There are a ton of good options for a vegetarian and vegan diet as well. It was splendid & we will be visiting again!

This is the new greatest thing to happen to Huntingdon Valley and the surrounding area. I have always had a pleasant experience dealing with the restaurant no complaints at all and the chefs have some of the best technique Ive seen making sushi and hand rolls. All around great place to dine at or order fron I reccomend it to anyone looking to try something new or find a new favorite spot to eat. Compliments to Dan for freindly service and superb quality.

Surprisingly GREAT. I am in town for only a couple of days. After I got to my hotel, I decided to order some "Chinese" food to be delivered to my room. I ordered a few different things including the Spicy Basil Fried Rice. Food was not only delicious but it arrived in a timely manner. Not I wish PA did not have such strict Alcohol laws! I good Pinot Noir from the nearby Costco would have sealed the deal. Good job Wild Ginger, good job!

We were in town from Denver and visiting family, and this restaurant absolutely impressed us with its ambiance, selection, and quality. The Wild Ginger Restaurant offers a wide array of vegetarian, vegan, and Buddhist meats, making it a quality choice for those with dietary restrictions. The service was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this Pan-Asian restaurant to anyone, vegetarian or not.

We tried the Thai menu. Everything was nicely presented and tasty. It was not overly spicy but did have a bit of a bite. I had the Thai triple delight which had some huge shrimp, chicken and beef in a brown sauce. The wife had the seafood in Thai garlic sauce with brown rice. The Hot and sour soup and the Thai coconut soup were both tasty and satisfying. The service was friendly and efficient. Well go again.

So happy!! Found a quality sushi place in the area. i was so tired of the 50% off garbage places around here. Drove 15 minutes and its well worth it. Honestly, the sushi tastes like high end sushi places in the city but possibly better though. Prices are relatively cheap. Great experience and highly recommend! (FYI, I never write reviews)

First and foremost, I consider myself a sushi officionade. This place has tremendous sushi. Its noticeably fresh and made with quality ingredients. The salmon tastes like you just dove head first into the ocean and had an orgasm at the same time. Seriously a must try as there are not many quality sushi place in the area.

My wife and I had a fantastic dining experience here. The owner is friendly and passionate about his work. Has a diverse menu of Sushi, Thai, Chinese, and Vegan, but the sushi is a stand out. Beautiful, fresh, carefully selected fish makes this place a gem in Huntingdon Valley/Abington/Northeast Phila.

Food was mediocer at best. Curry was flavorless and the one special order was served exactly as the menu read without the special request. Service was quick although it took three tries for the server to get our order written down correctly and then it wasnt right.

First time here, the sushi and special rolls were nicely presented and delicious. Ditto on the ginger salad. Three different types of lettuce and frisee which was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly staff. A must try for the sushi fan.

Sashimi was fresh and excellent like you would expect. I had a Dinner Box with beef and garlic sauce. I asked for extra spicy and they did it. Hot and sour soup was very good. Im so glad we finally got to eat there. 8/4/17

Did take out salmon sashimi and spicy tuna rolls . The sashimi was great quality . Spicy tuna wasnt bad, a little bit mushy but maybe thats how it was supposed to be . Delicious ! Happy with my order

The spicy tuna roll was very tender and nice. The yellowtail was fine, nothing outstanding, but perfect for what I was looking for. I will be going there for lunch often. (Took takeout)

Great quality food and quiet atmosphere. Very friendly staff, especially Danny. Nice infusion of NYC (where theyre from) into Philly suburbia. Definitely worth it.
