Started our day at The Soda Jerk for breakfast, then to AACA Museum. Before heading home to Southern York County, we stopped here. Great service, clean, cold A/C, nice restroom. Ample selection of ice cream flavors and varied kinds of treats and combos. They were making waffle cones, smelled great- very tempting! Some flavors we had not tried before, the server was accommodating-4 in our party, each of us tasted 2 flavors before choosing our treats. BEST milkshake straws ever! I asked for ice water, it was on the house. The portions were great, ice cream was perfect- right tempature, right consistency- really tasty. Prices are really reasonable. Family friendly.

Service was horrible. The outside window is closed, but not posted. We stood while people came and went. We were ignored. After going in and inquiring about the window a teen flippantly told me its not used. Even inside we still stood and waited while the ice cream tubs were restocked and again were ignored. 2 other teens felt it more important to check their phones before waiting on us! Hersheys ice cream is served there, which is good ice cream, but not worth the sacrifice in service!

Pretty decent ice cream, its a great addition to the Hershey area. Weve been lacking a good ice cream shop for a long time now. Well known for its Gorilla Split (a gigantic bowl of ice cream - if you eat the whole thing they take your tables picture and put it on the wall) The whole place is decorated with stuff monkeys, gorillas and other wild animals. Prices are fair, and it has ample parking.

This past Thursday evening we were disappointed to watch as one of the female workers with darker hair hugged, pet and kissed a dog that another customer brought into the store then proceeded to dip and serve ice cream to customers without washing her hands.
