This Baskin Robbins is a great place in general. They have nicely kept interior and a lot of friendly members. However, like anything in life, there are exceptions. The exception in this case would be its staffing. During the afternoon of June 13th 2017 the temperatures reached heights rarely seen so early in the summer. Pavement sizzled, dogs incessantly panting for relief and car tires sticking to the pavement as them plow through the blistering heat. As my coworker and I approached this establishment we noticed a legion of adolescents hovering the door. For as far as my work exhausted eyes could see. It was only when we got closer that we realized, THAT WAS THE LINE! Foolish of me right? How could I be so ignorant in by desire for such a delicious treat to not realize that, this was the last day of school! Children littered the establishment. Initially my coworker and I trembled in fear but will is unwavering. Though I knew I would be tested that day, defeat would not be an option. I whispered words of encouragement to my coworker as we finally walked through the establishments’ entrance feeling the chilling breeze from its coolers on my face as the sweltering sun singes the back of my neck. I was relieved, but not for long. As stated earlier, the line was wickedly long, but now I understood why. There appeared to be only one administer of ice cream in the entire establishment. As I gazed upon this fallen angel’s nametag I saw that her name was Morgan. By looking at Morgan’s face I could tell that she felt alone, discouraged, exhausted, helpless and more importantly overwhelmed. Through all of this Morgan served us all with a smile no matter how bad the children were, no matter how inconsiderate that parents were, she made sure to satisfy us all. Though I paid with credit I made sure to give Morgan my last five dollars from my wallet. Because she most definitely earned it.

Alright now. Disclaimer: I used to work here but I no longer do. I do patronize them often. The York rd and Joppa rd stores are by far the best BR franchises I have ever been to. The stores are CLEAN. The tubs of ice cream and freezers are always neat and clean in appearance. You will not see clumps of adjacent flavors in other tubs. Cake and prepackaged quart displays are full and orderly. If you want something different the employees will check the walk in to find something else you might like. Worst case, they will make you a cake so custom that your head will spin right off. Your scoop of ice cream will be the same size as the person in front of you. Literally, they have to practice. Forget that you have a food allergy? They didnt forget to ask! If you are one of those people that like Rum Raisin, its just a weird flavor... Im just saying, why go anywhere else when its so good here?

This is a great Baskin Robins. The staff is always helpful and nice. They always say hello when you walk in. The service is fast. The restaurant is always clean. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter August 2014 and they were so helpful and explained everything and let me customize my cake as much as I wanted to. They did not make me feel rushed at all. Of course Baskin Robins ice cream is the best and I have had every single flavor. I have been eating Baskin Robins ice cream since I was 4 years old so I am kind of an expert. In my expert opinion butter pecan in a waffle cone is the best thing in the world!!

This place has really gone down hill. Avoid getting anything but regular ice cream here. They are bound to screw up most other orders. They are also very stingy with toppings and additional ingredients. They give very little for what you pay for. My advice is to avoid this Baskin Robbins. They take the enjoyment out of ice cream.
