I had been hearing this buzz about a new place in town with some of the best home cooking youd be able to find in a 20 mile radius. Naturally, I had to find this out for myself. The restaurant itself just looks like a little sliver of a strip mall, but when we walked in... I was pleasantly surprised. It was brightly decorated and inviting, and although we couldnt be seated right away, we were greeted by everyone working the front of house. We were sat in a few minutes, and our drinks were served to us in a flash. I had ordered the hand breaded chicken strips on the specials menu, which were delicious (and came with huge sides), but when I saw the gargantuan Jills salad being delivered to the table behind us, I knew Id have to come back. My next visit (a week later) was even better. We grabbed a small table in the corner, I ordered that salad, and I kid you not... its a salad built for at least three people. (You MUST try their house made egg dressing as well.) The large salad bowls they served can be a little challenging to chase around the table as you fork and cut, so the kind woman behind the register provided me with a patch of gripper to put under my bowl. The staff is undoubtedly accommodating. Bottom line? Its delicious, friendly, and affordable. I havent had the pleasure of eating their homemade desserts yet, but Ill be back.

Not just sweets! For the longest time I thought this place was just some sort of bakery because of the name, but its not. They have very good home cooked meals. Portions were good sized and everything was delicious. The restaurant is on the smaller side and there was a steady flow of customers during our visit so you might have a small wait but its worth it.

I LOVE this place. Very home like atmosphere. My favorite is the Jills salad with egg dressing, but the center cut ham is delicious and fills the entire plate. Prices cant be beat for the amount of food you get. I come here at least twice a week. Karen Hanover, PA

You know that secret little place where all the old folk go for good food and great company? Well you do now. If you leave this place hungry, you forgot to place your order. Try the sliced ham for breakfast, it comes on its own plate.

Clean and cheerful diner with oodles of small town charm. Food is simple but tasty with ample portions and very affordable prices. The house "egg dressing" is delicious.

The salads are large and fresh. No vegetarian options but I was able to eat around the meat. Other diners enjoyed their sandwiches and had enough to take some home.
