I have been a customer for 4 years and they have great food and reasonable prices. The last two times I ordered from them, the delivery guy was rude and disrespectful to me. Every other delivery person they sent before were courteous and did their job well. This one has an attitude talking about he will not deliver my food if I dont come out to get it. Well that would not be delivery now would it? Whats next? go to the restaurant and pick it up? I never heard of a delivery person refusing to deliver. Thats your job so do it or dont work as a delivery person. I must rate this low even though the food is great but the delivery guy owes this one to you. If they keep this guy, I will have to find another place to order my food. I am not having another argument with a delivery person. Sorry China One but get your delivery guy in order. This is in answer to GlobalMediaOutlet, re-read my comment. If the delivery person would have not argued and disrespected me, he would have gotten a tip. When your job is to deliver and you do it right you get a great tip, but if you argue with your customer because you want them to come outside and pick up the order because you dont want to get out of your car, then you get jack from me. The food at China One in Hanover is the best I love it. They still have the same delivery guy, but he has toned it down a lot. So he does get a tip when he comes to my home. What we want is good food and good service not a lazy moody person calling you on the phone asking you to go outside in the middle of winter to pick up your order. Im done....

We live in Hanover, and have had nothing but good experiences with China One, even on very large orders when having guests over. When reading some of the other reviews, I notice customers saying that the delivery person is who they have a issue with, and that they had previously gotten delivery with a smile, or without any issues. That sounds to us like a driver making deliveries to folks who dont think they need to give a reasonable tip, if any at all. Wait Staff depend on tips, and we personally calculate a delivery tip based on a percentage of the bill, as we would if we were in the restaurant. One difference being that the delivery driver has to maintain a vehicle and drive to get your order to you. We appreciate the friendly service we have gotten from China One, and are happy to live where there is a excellent Chinese place with delivery. We lived in Kentucky near Elizabethtown for a few years, where we really learned to appreciate what we have here.

They are probably the best tasting Chinese take out in Hanover BUT they have the worst customer service ever. She messed up or order a couple of times and then over charged us. On top of all that the last time we ordered food, it took and hour for us to get our food and the cold was no where near hot. Both delivery guys were rude and they have poor attitude. I dont recommend this place unless you dont mind waiting an hour for cold food and dealing with rude people. Get it together china one, because it looks like youre losing good loyal customers. Oh and in reply to globalmedia, I TIP ALL THE TIME. So please dont assume that Im one of those rude customers that dont. I work in customer service and I think I should know. Also I do appreciate everything I get, thank you. As for Tess, I agree 100%. The delivery guy drives a blue mini coop, Im not sure if its the same guy that you get but hes rude as hell. I tipped him eveytime even though he was late by an hour.

We just moved to the area and this is the first place we order Chinese food from, I placed my order online and did not receive any confirmation. I called about 25 minutes later to ensure they received my order, I was quickly rushed off the phone with a " yes, we have". Another 20 minutes went by and still no delivery driver. I called again and they assured me that the driver would be there in 10 minutes. (We dont even live 10 minutes from their shop). Another 20 minutes went by before the driver arrived. The driver then proceeded to sit in my driveway and call me from my driveway to tell me he was instructed to call before delivery. He could see me standing in the living room but delayed our food another 5 minutes before coming up to the house. The food that we did receive was luke warm and was more like something you would get from a buffet that sat for hours without fresh. We will never order from here again.

The food was as good or better than any other Chinese food in Hanover. Unfortunately they have a problem with the English language. Weve ordered there a few times and each time were asked to spell our our street address multiple times (note: our street name isnt in any way difficult to spell, sound out, or understand), and they still get it wrong. My wife spelled our street address 3 times, and the delivery person still went to the wrong place....then they get orders wrong. The main part of the order they get right (what kind of dish it is) but the details are ALWAYS wrong. Dont even bother asking for anything other than the standard plate, theyll get it wrong or just outright ignore your request. Even if its for something simple like white rice instead of fried rice....thats too much...

This place is fantastic. Always delivering on time, never getting a single detail wrong. Theyve even memorized some of my orders and add on things (like extra sauce) that I enjoy or forget to ask for, and all without any charge, like its a sort of thanks for our business. The owners are an absolute delight, and their dining room is gorgeous to eat in. I am forever obsessed with this restaurant, their friendliness, and their fantastic food. General Tsao, Shrimp and Broccoli, its all amazing.

I am very angry. I have ordered food from China One Hanover a few times now and it has always been late but has still been delivered. Tonight, I ordered online as I usually do. I waited and waited, and finally after an hour and 15 minutes, I called the restaurant. I was informed that they were "too busy" and I lived "too far" for delivery. I did not receive a call or an email notifying me of this. This is just ridiculous and I will not be ordering from this restaurant ever again.

This is one of the best Chinese places to eat in town. The staff is always EXTREMELY friendly even though they struggle with English (but hey Im not judging them! English is one messed up language!) I recommend their Honey Chicken. Probably some of the best Honey chicken Ive ever had. Love it!

Dont listen to the bad reviews. Im new to Hanover and have been ordering from them for the past several months. The delivery is always quick and the delivery guys are super friendly. The food is delicious, hot, and no complaints!! FYI, I use their online ordering and I love it!
