My boyfriend and I liked this restaurant. We used to visit frequently, as we share a love for Thai food. Anyway, we got a set of coupons from one of those fundraising coupon books (think Entertainment®). They were for "Buy 1 entree, get 1 free - up to $12 value". We used one of the coupons without issue. Then we went back a second time with another coupon, and were told that the owner had "changed her mind" and was no longer honoring the coupon, although the expiration date had not yet passed. Good thing we asked before we ate! Rather than honor their coupon, they let us walk out the door and go to a different restaurant, even though the restaurant was completely empty and we would have been their only customers. Talk about bad business practice! Their food is good, but nothing to write home about, and it definitely doesnt warrant their "we can afford to turn customers away" business attitude. One time we went there and were disappointed that they didnt have duck in stock. Whats Thai food without duck? Needless to say, well be purchasing our beloved Thai food elsewhere.

I thought the lunch buffet at Thai Palace was pretty decent, weekdays its 8 dollars per person. Im giving it 3.5 stars. The owner and our waitress were extremely nice, and unlike other thai places (pakhas, kanlaya, bangkok 56) it wasnt packed with people. The decourations are your usual for a thai restaurant: tourism posters, traditional pictures of the king, elephants and paintings of rural farm workers. The buffet itself was fair, not super large: Salad, Tom Yum Soup, Eggrolls, Wings, there main dishes were pad thai, curry chicken, tofu & vegetables and for dessert they had fried banana. They also have dinner and a la carte service.

Thai Palace is our favorite! Their food is very affordable and flavorful, the service is consistently good. They have a great lunch buffet during the week, which is a good opportunity to try different dishes if you are new to Thai food. On the regular menu you can order any dish with chicken, beef, seafood, etc. in addition to duck and tofu! My favorites are the tom kha soup (their soups are the best), mango stirfry, and pineapple curry. I recommend all the die-hard Bangkok 56 and Bangkok Wok (too greasy for me!) fans to give Thai Palace a try.

The lunch buffet which starts at 11:30 M-F was great. There were two soups, two appetizers, five or six main courses, and four dessert options. Staff greeted and sat me promptly. Food was tasty with plenty of condiment options available on the buffet. Loved the fried banana w/ honey and tapioca desserts. I will definately be going back to try some items off the dinner menu.

No doubt one of the best Thai spots in the area. The flavors you eagerly look for are there. The staff is very genial, warm and friendly. The lunch buffet is quite great, with a great variety of dishes ranging from salad to dessert. Granted, after tea and tip it was round $18 and a half, so if you feel like treating yoself, this would be a great choice.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing evening. Delicious food, nice presentation, attentive and caring servers and beautiful soothing guitar music. Now that sure beats 25 telivisions, and so much background noise that its impossible to converse with your dining partner. Dinner out the way it should be!!!!!

This is my favorite Thai place!! My favorite is the Peanut Curry with Chicken. I have tried it other places and nothing compares. Do not be deterred if you go in and there is no one else in the restaurant. We go as often as we can! Go on a night when they have music, very entertaining!

Went on a Thursday night and the restaurant was quiet. The Pad Thai was great and the portion size was substantial. Server was helpful in explaining the various levels of spice available. The restaurant itself is fine - not super clean - but the food makes up for that.

I ordered Egg fried rice here, i think its the worst fried rice i have ever eaten. Its just rice with some carrots, tons of brocolli. There is no egg at all in the fried rice. Too much over priced, seriously ? charge 13$ for rice and vegetables?

Weve been here twice. The food is excellent, however the service is very poor. Be prepared to spend quite some time here if you decide to come. We will be hunting for another Thai option that doesnt take so long!

Always a good experience. I always ask for recommendations at restaurants but here they just kept saying that everything is good. So figure out what you want to try before you go if youre as indecisive as me.
