You want an honest review from someone who has eaten at decent restaurants all over the country? Read below: We came here for my dads birthday based on the 4.3 star reviews on google. We were a party of 8 on a Saturday night, we called for reservations but really didnt need them, that should have been our first warning, especially when other restaurants in the area couldnt take us until much later. The good: It was hard to find something good but the waitress was on her game, as far as service was concerned. Her recommendations of the food however, wasnt very good. The bad: We had a small sampling of food, two children in the group ordered hot dogs / Mac and cheese bites and the other a hamburger. The mac n cheese bites were edible at best, the burger had barely any flavor. The adults in the group ordered the Chesapeake burger (hamburger, crab meat, and crab dip). The burger was cooked to the right temperature, however it lacked flavor, there was barely any crab meat on top, and so much crab dip that it made a mess all over the place, the burger was too messy to enjoy. One person in the group ordered the beer battered chicken, the chicken was cooked properly, but the flavor was lacking, especially when being compared with 2 other restaurants in the area which serve amazing fried chicken that is paired with all you can eat seafood. 2 other adults ordered the steak and crab cake for $16.95, this price is definitely too good to be true. One person asked for theirs to be medium and the other person asked for it to be medium well, both steaks came out medium or medium rare, flavor was okay at best, but the cut of meat wasnt great. The crab cake was 95% filler and terrible. Two adults in the group ordered bottled beers, both were room temperature, the one draft beer that was ordered was good and cold. Definitely would not come back, just based on the bland food alone. There were no cleanliness issues that we found and honestly the restrooms may have been the best part of this place.

My wife and I decided to try the Bourbon bar n grill .. I had read the reviews for the restaurant and was ready for most anything. Our server was courteous but only her 2nd day on the job. Our appetizer was tortilla with chicken and cheese with a mild hot sauce. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and I asked that the sandwich was made with the bourbon sauce that they use for their ribs and Im not sure why they would not have that option on the menu. My wife had a chicken wrap with a buffalo sauce .. Hummm bourbon bar and grill and they dont offer a wrap with a chicken bourbon sauce❗️They do have a fair selection of draft beer and bottle beer. Not much in the way of bourbon other than the name. Hope the owner or owners read the reviews and respond .. I have some helpful ideas that they may use .. I run a 63 million dollar operation and would be willing to share some ideas.

From the moment we walked in it was very awkward. A sigh said seat yourself so we do then we were asked if we had reservations which we didnt so we asked if we needed them the girl said no and walked away. We then waited 15 mins. For our server to even come and greet us , when she finally do she didnt really,even say anything so we just started ordering drinks and decided to go ahead and older our food. We wait another 15 mins during that time we only saw 1 server come out and check on another table once . So after we waited and our drinks hadnt come we decided to leave we hunt down our server and told her and all she said was ok. So we never tasted the food but the service was HORRIBLE and the atmosphere very awkward. We for sure will not return. (Ps they were not that busy while we were there )

Were giving this place another try. Went here on almost a weekly basis back in 2014 for wing nights and crab leg Sundays. The regular waitress we liked disappeared and service became very hit or miss. We stopped going around the time they put a stage in the dining room. But now its been two years so Im trying it again. We went on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. The bartender was great. We got chili and wings, both of which were very good. The chili was pretty damn amazing (Im a big chili fan), it had big chunks of burger in it, which i like. They have a very nice selection of craft beer at good prices, which is the main thing that has lured me in for another try. I do plan on coming back again and hopefully Taste if Burbon can become a regular stop for me once again.

A favorite place for my husband and me on Friday nights. Last night we had a surprise birthday party there for my husband with 25 friends. Service: Outstanding! Food: Amazing - everything from appetizers to main courses arrived on time and hot! Pretzels with crab dip, steaks, bourbon salmon, wings (especially the "Mark" sauce) crab cakes etc. Atmosphere: Great - Nothing but raves from my family and friends many who traveled from NY, Philadelphia and Maryland. Some of our friends thought the waitress was a family friend because she was so attentive and fun. A special thanks to Chuck and Tracy for making this a memorable birthday for my husband. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Never made it to the restaurant. Had a gift certificate and wanted to do all you can eat crab legs but they would not accept the gift certificate for that. Their response was cant us them for specials. Well they run the all you can eat crab legs all yr round and regardless the someone paid for the gift certificate. So this is what they get in return, a bad neg review. Not going there otherwise, was only looking to do the all you can eat. Maybe if we went their for that dinner we might had become repeating clients but guess not now. Sad customer service.

My wife and I just finished our meal. It has been a long time sence we have eaten here and let me tell you it has improved 100 fold. I had the farmer burger well done and onion rings. It was delicious i wish i had taken a picture because it was so perfect. The burger was cooked perfectly and it was juicy. My wife had the saturday special 6oz sirloin and crabcake with 2 sides. I have no idea how it tasted but it must have been great because ive never seen my wife eat her dinner with such gusto. We will definitely be back!

Food simply was not good. I ordered a steak and I was not worth the money. Poorly cooked with garlic powder. Girlfriend ordered a burger she did not enjoy it. Coleslaw looked like snot. French fries were good! Cousin also got a steak and ended up feeding it to his dog when he got home. If you are a big drinker they had a lot of alcohol. But wouldnt recommend the food. Guessing it was the owner... Well he sat with family or friends the whole time watching the game. Just wasnt why I expected.
