My fiancé and I got seated right away when we arrived waitress was quick to show up and get drinks and take our order it was then a 15 minute wait for food still not bad then the food came I ordered pork chop mashed potatoes and broccoli the broccoli was good the potatoes even though advertised as real potatoes had a powdery taste and were cold the pork chop was so overdone and dried out I could not eat it the burger my fiancé ordered was also way overcooked when we finished only a quarter of our meals the and the waitress showed up 20 minutes later to ask if we needed drinks and take our plates never did ask how the food was or take notice most of the food was still on the plate then when asked at counter to pay if food was good I answered no and the hostess laughed and asked for payment no question as to what was wrong with food just took payment said thank you and off we went

I was a little worried when we read the other reviews but it was right next to our hotel and we couldnt beat the convenience. We were seated immediately by a friendly host and then our server appeared right after he left. I wish I had gotten her name, but the young woman who served us was quick, efficient and had a warm personality. From what I observed everyone in our section was being taken care of by our server and another young woman without complaint. The food was good, served hot and was well priced.

The waitress was so rude. Theres no smile at all. She came out 10 minutes after taking my order and told me that they ran out of shrimp and offered me something else. I didnt want it and orderes something else. She gave me such a stinky attitude that I was even scared to order. The whole dinner was so awkward and uncomfortable. It wasnt my fault that I had to wait to find out that they didnt have what I had ordered. Also, we were being nice the whole time. We didnt deserve that kind of service.

After 2 long days of touring Gettysburg, kids and parents were all exhausted. Staying at the hotel next door, we opted to get dessert as a treat. Our oldest son has a severe nut allergy, so the manager personally made him waffles with ice cream with strawberry topping. This personal attention made our son feel like a king instead of feeling excluded. Thank you so much, Michael, for helping this weary mom have happy (& safe) kids.

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday 9-7-17. And couldnt finish our meals so we boxed the rest to bring home! Well my husband had to use the bathroom TWICE before we even let the restaurant and I my meal didnt agree with me either. One the way to the car we decided to pitch the meals in the trash... was not a happy customer. Lute and Sue Newman

Wonderful dining experience. Quick, friendly service. Breakfast options are amazing! Yummy! Try the Brioche french toast (added strawberries and whipped cream), scrambled eggs and Applewood bacon! Coffee is very good. We will definitely be returning to try lunch or supper menu.

Terrible food after 1 hour wait. Not busy, and as long of wait, should have had piping hot food. All meals were cold, soft butter wouldnt even melt!...Will NEVER come here again and advised family to stear clear when they are in town.

Decent food, but BIG portion sizes for CHEAP! Paid about $13 (w/ coupon) for a hot muffin, giant omelette, toast w/ jelly, coffee, and dessert. Tucked away in the outskirts of downtown Gettysburg, its definitely small, quiet, and cozy.

Pretty standard Perkins experience. Solid reasonably priced breakfast fare. It was funny watching the elderly regulars complain to the waitstaff about all the bikers that were there during Gettysburg Bike Week

Pancakes to die for according to my daughter and great eggs and toast. Excellent coffee (for the US that is ;-). ) and good juice. Suzy must be one of the friendliest waitresses in the United States. Loved it!

I am glad I did not pay attention to the ridiculous reviews for this Perkins. The service was excellent, the food was good, came out hot to the table. I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone.

Grew up with Perkins in Colorado, was saddened when they left. Comforting to know one is within driving distance since moving to Maryland. Fantastic muffins and the food brought back a lot of memories.

Food is good, servers are outstanding. Long lines are often the norm at the counter to pay the bill, and wait times of 15-20 minutes during high traffic times can be expected

We came from the Netherlands, and as real Dutch always looking for bargains. Perkins is cheap, but the quality is not! Great food, fresh fish and salads. Recommended!

Weve never had a bad meal here. Surroundings are clean and bright, service excellent and food delicious. Only problem can sometimes be-too many choices on the menu!!!

The food was pretty good, the service on the other hand, terrible. Slow and disrespectful. The tables were filthy and the bakery table had flies inside of it. Gross.

Outstanding service, great food, variety of options comparable to other competing restaurants but in terms of breakfast, they beat IHOP and Bob Evans for quality.

We dont have a local Perkins any more. :-( This one was the bomb! Huge menu and portions! Service was great. We all left with more than full stomachs ;-)

WOW THE FOOD WAS COLD AND AFTER BEING SEATED AND WAITING 35 MINUTES WE SAW OUR WAITRESS AGAIN. WHERE SHE WENT IS A MYSTERY. AVOID THIS PLACE FOR SURE.

Has really lost something. Food was ok not hot. We use to go here often when we traveled to Gettysburg but the last few times something has changed.

Food is always solid, service can be hit or miss. It was polite and pleasant, but they seemed slightly understaffed and waiting on the kitchen.

We were skeptical when we first walked in by the musty odor coming from the entrance, but the food was very good and the service was top notch.
