To be honest, its a little hit or miss, and I think that may be because theyre still gaining their footing. The first time we went, the food was very tasty. Next couple of times were eh. The most recent visit, unfortunately they had some kind of crazy rush where the one waitress was all by herself, running around like a chicken with her head cut off and there was one guy in the kitchen. That time, I ordered the ribs and they were honestly inedible. There was no way these ribs had been slow-cooked. They were par-boiled and then hastily oven-seared. I couldnt even get the meat off the bone; Im not exaggerating. Im pretty sure they ran out of ribs, not expecting the rush, and tried their best to accommodate my order, which I appreciated very much. Navigating food stock in a new restaurant is tricky, especially with slow-cooked items. If you guys are out there reading: check out 4 Rivers Barbecue in Florida. Go on their website, watch their YouTube videos. They have it down to a science and have lines wrapped around the building every single day of the week. Theyve opened four or five franchises in the last six years to keep up with demand. Their secret when they were starting out was to have a killer recipe and make a limited quantity available. People went, ate, got obsessed, and told their friends. The scarcity aspect made people rush to get their share, to the point where they were able to rely on the patronage to increase the amount of meat they cooked. No waste, no profit loss, happy customers, and theyre raking in money hand over fist. Check it out--seriously. I really think this place has what it takes to be successful, but they need to work out the kinks in their consistency.

The waitress was very nice and the service was prompt. The food was good, though the Cajun burger wasnt spicy at all. We also all ordered a cup of chili and the chili had very little flavor. A couple members of our party had been there before and said the chili was much better the last time. We mentioned this to the waitress and she ended up getting permission from the manager to take the chili off our bill, so that was very considerate of them. We will probably end up going back again.

Foodies stop here! People who love the full flavor of smoked meats, great salads, and unique burgers stop here! Try the Ultimate Burger (pulled pork on top) or the Texan. IF they have crab cakes when you go in, grab em! They are seasonal, and fantastic. Sal has been cooking up good food in Chester County for a number of years now and this place is still a best kept secret - that shouldnt be. BTW - their catering prices are great too!

Very good local BBQ joint. Their brisket is juicy with a nice smokey flavor. Two types of sauce: obligatory molasses based with with a nice balance (not too sweet) and the other is a Carolina/down south vinegar type, a bit mild for my taste but still good. The staff is very friendly and attentive (had at least four glasses of sweetened iced-tea there just last week!) Recommended

I ate at this restaurant on July 25, 2017 and enjoyed my meal immensely. The ribs were tender and delicious. The chicken was flavorful. The portions were generous. I typically do not eat cornbread when I go out to eat; however, this cornbread tasted close to how I make may cornbread at home. This will become one of my dining spots when I visit Exton, PA area.

If you want great barbeque, this is where you go. Its a small mom and pop place, family run. Every dish is delicious. Its true southern comfort! Because it is on the smaller side, wait staff are always available to help. Its very clean with beautiful art along the walls, all of which is for sale. Its just a great place to enjoy great barbeque.

Awesome really sums it up! I lived in NC for 10 years after getting out of the military and the south invented smoked ribs. "Something Grilled" really knows how to do ribs "Southern Style." My favorite rib place above the Mason Dixon. And the service is as good as the ribs.

Surprise of my day! Was a bit early for lunch, but stopped in anyway and so glad I did. Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was perfect. They said they recently moved from Honeybrook to Exton. Definitely Extons gain!
